incomparable one you are the immutable god oh hallelujah no one can comprehend oh god who you are you are limitless god almighty this morning you do what you will anytime you will god and nobody can stop you because you are god and so this morning we worship you because of who you are because of who you are we glorify your name oh god oh hallelujah we take no praise oh god and no glory for ourselves for god how can we compare to you and so we give you all the glory this morning hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah father we ask you to stay with us we ask you to tabernacle with us lord we know we are not worthy hallelujah we know we are not worthy to stand in your presence lord we know when you come in this house every face every knee oh god every flesh must bow before you but god we ask you to come into this room we ask you god to fill this place oh god with your very presence with the essence of who you are lord god we ask you to let men and women oh god acknowledge you as lord this morning as we worship take full control of this service oh god we have a program we have a shed you lord but we give it into your hands hallelujah we ask you to write oh god what you want to write we ask you to lead this morning like never before we ask you to touch the youth in a special way on this you sunday morning service lord god let your holy spirit like electricity run through this place oh god almighty like a magnet or god draws to yourself that we will bow down in heart we will bow down in physical form and we will worship you for who you are oh god take this program take this service oh god from us this morning do as you will in your presence for every praise belongs to you every worship belongs to you every aspect of this service is in your hands the moderating the recorded singing ministries the messages in your hands lord we need to hear from you we need a word from you oh god if we don't hear from you what will we do and so this morning oh god send a word from home send an encouraging word move through this place jesus you know every need oh god physical needs financial need o god and the greatest need that man could have the salvation of his soul god almighty let that not be forgotten for that is why we gather to draw men to worship you and to recognize that the whole duty of man is to fear god and keep your commandments and so god will leave it in your hands this morning take full control bless our leaders this morning our bishop and minister davis and all the ministers god they are in your care this morning and we look to you god that your chapter 22 reading verses 1 through to 14. when you found it let me hear you say amen bless the name of the lord i'll read and you will follow in your bibles hallelujah and jesus answered and spake unto them again parables and said the kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king which made a marriage for his son and sent forth his servants to call them that were biden to the wedding and they would not again he sent forth other servants saying tell them which are biden behold i have prepared my dinner my oxen and my fatlings are killed and all things are ready come unto the marriage but they made light of it and went their ways one to his farm another to his merchandise and the remnant took his servants and then treated them spitefully and slew them but when the king heard thereof he was wrath and he sent forth his armies and destroyed those murderers and burnt up their city then said he to his servants the wedding is ready but they which are bitten were not worthy goi therefore into the highways and as many as he shall find bid to the marriage so those servants went out into the highways and gather them gathered together all as many as they found both bad and good and the wedding was furnished with guests and when the king came in to see the guests he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment and he said unto him friend who came as though in hither not having a wedding garment and he was speechless then said the king to the servants bind him hand and foot and take him away and cast him into ultra darkness there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth know how conducive it is towards spiritual development but i prayed if i'm good you'll preserve her the school that she attends the friends that she's associated with i pray almighty god you'll make her exemplary lord you'll keep your hands upon her the words that she will speak oh god almighty may there be words o god that edifies there will not be words divine god of any preferredness in the name of jesus christ of nazareth holy ghost of god right now be your edge around her lord god surround her with your loving arms and compass her o glory to god the angels of the lord god will encamp around and about her in a lying down and in her waking up in the name of jesus christ she will be oh god an agent of change within her home among those of god that she will associate herself with lord let your hands rest heavily upon her right now jesus christ her steps will be ordered by you lord you'll be with her in our going out and in her coming in in a lying down and in awaking up divine god spirit of god spirit of god let your blood let your blood see her this morning let your blood stamp her this morning bought by your divine god and she shall be an instrument to be used for your god i cover her now under the blood of jesus christ and god almighty from this very hour like lamar henry is blessed she's consecrated and she's given back to your god in the name of the father and not the with me at this time glory to god as you know today is fourth sunday and as customary to celebrated huge sunday among our young people you'd have seen them this morning in the different areas of ministry we continue to pray for them and i long to hear their live voices again of the echoes of faith war i miss them so much and you are not forgotten because of faith and i hope you are holding the faith this morning because you are very faith you are very favored choir because a person is willing to sponsor two members of the echoes of faith quarrel for bible word institute full coverage of tuition and books so it has to be a male and a female so a male and a female from the echoes of faith choir you can speak to me and i'll speak to minister sharon grant through the medium the person's we have this on our minds and that on our minds but if you don't do that yet let this be that moment hallelujah that moment where we focus upon jesus open your mouth and call upon his name open your mouth and praise him open your mouth and worship him right now hallelujah his name is wonderful his name is glorious his name is victorious there is no name like the name of jesus there's power in his lifted up there is no god like unto him hallelujah no other god wants to be a part of your life like jesus know that god wants to care for you like jesus know that god wants to provide for you like jesus so know that god loves you like jesus jesus hallelujah [Music] our god is an awesome god he's a worthy god he's an untimed god he's a god that don't just send you on your way he goes on your way with you he's not a god that stays behind and tell you what to do he's a god that walks with you and talks with you and shares with you anybody knows what i'm talking about david said if it had not been for the lord that was on our side i'm sure all of us have a testimony this morning of the way he brought us through the way he turned things around the way he showed up at the right time when he brought a dead situation back to life when he cleared your confusion and silenced the noise and settled the dust and so we can stand here breathe in in our right minds that's why we ought to praise him jesus christ is lord hallelujah put your hands above your heads and give the lord our clap offering this morning he's worthy to be praised and to be adored blessed be his holy name he's a good god before you take your seats has reached on for your bibles and we're going to go straight into the word of god back to saint matthew chapter 22 and while you go they allow me to greet you for who he is and for what he has made me to be he's a good guy it's been a wonderful morning so far i thank god that i am here and i thank god that you are here ah i am grateful for those who rendered minister this morning for the moderators the music ministry i thank god for them i thank god for minister davis who scheduled me this morning for bishop davis who gave her the opportunity and for god who chose him and called him to pioneer this ministry isn't god a good god and so far it's been so good allow me to read for clarity's sake the remaining portion of saint matthew chapter 22. earlier you concluded at verse 14 and if it was up to me i would preach from verse 14 but god has something else in mind hence while i'll be reading the remaining portions i'll read and you follow and i'll start with verse 14 for many are called but few are chosen then when the pharisees unto counsel how they might entangle him in his talk and they send out unto him their disciples with a herodian saying master we know that thou art true and teach us the way of god in truth neither cares though for any man for the regard is not the person of men tell us therefore what think is though is it law to give tribute unto caesar or not but jesus perceived their wickedness and said why tempe me he hypocrites show me the tribute money and they brought unto him a penny and he said unto them whose image is this and superscription and they said unto him caesars then saith he unto them render therefore unto seas are the things which are caesar's and unto god the things which are gods when they had heard these things they marveled and left him and went their way the same came unto him the sadducees which say in their say that there is no resurrection and ask him saying master moses said if die having no children his brother shall marry his wife and raise up seed unto his brother no there were with us seven brethren the first when he had married a wife deceased and having no issue left his wife unto his brother likewise the second also the third unto the seventh last of all the woman died also therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven for they all had her jesus answered and said unto them he do heir not knowing the scriptures nor the power of god for in the resurrection they neither marry nor given in marriage but they are the angels of god in heaven but as touching the resurrection of the dead he have not read that which is spoken unto you by god saying i am the god of abraham and the god of isaac and the god of jacob god is not the god of the dead but of the living and when the multitude heard this they were astonished at his doctrine but when the pharisees heard that he had put the sadducees to silence they were gathered together then one of them which was a lawyer asked him a question tempting him saying master which is the great commandment in the law jesus said unto him thou shalt love the lord thy god with all thy heart and with all thy soul with all thy mind this is the first and great commandment and the second is like unto it thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself on these two commandments and all the law and the prophets while the pharisees were gathered together jesus asked them saying what think ye of christ whose son is he they say unto him the son of david he said unto them when doth david in spirit called him lord saying the lord said unto my lord sit though on my right hand till i make that enemies thy footstool if david then called him lord how is he his son and no man was able to answer him a word neither durst any man from that day forth ask him more questions father we thank you for your word that we're about to receive we pray almighty god that you will be the chef this morning and that you will serve us almighty god each according to our needs we pray that your word will go forth and not return unto you void but will accomplish what you sent it to do and prosper in what you please we pray that every heart that is here will be good soil to receive your word and they that receive almighty god hallelujah shall be edified so you can be glorified and the enemy be defeated and horrified father we thank you for what you are doing and what you are about to do have your own sweet way in jesus name amen hallelujah give the lord a praise and take your seeds glory be to god god is a good god i want to use for a theme this morning three words stop love and listen stop love and listen the aim of this message is not to be textual or contextual or a message of brilliance or of academics it's not going to be based on anything systematic or any of the fancy stuff it's not going to be designed to cross the t's and dot all the eyes and to be perfect it is simply just to say to you what god would have me to say is that okay because there's a sign right in front of me which simply says preach the word and that is what with god's help i will be doing there this morning so lord have mercy on me in the old days the prophets isaiah jeremiah and ezekiel and many of the major and minor prophets they did not have the sophisticated planning and preparations that we do in church today they simply sought the lord he spoke to them and they went and delivered the large messages and these are the same messages that we read in church today and we preach from in church today and they edify and they live and save and transform lives in church today is that okay so let me get to a few things these are the days when we emphasize systems and plans and programs these are the days when all of us we rely on our own wisdom and routines and our set ways of doing things and nothing is wrong with having order it's very good to be organized god is a god of order and all that must be made it must be constructed must be properly planned out and it must be executed unfortunately for many of us the orders that we do set out in our lives are constructed by ourselves and by our limited knowledge and wisdom but there is somebody who has knowledge beyond all knowledge there is somebody who has wisdom beyond all wisdom and that is the god that we serve and i guarantee you if you allow that god to plan and properly plan and execute the systems that you use you will in no wise fail the plans of men fail the systems of men fail the wisdom and knowledge of men fail but our god never fails [Music] i said our god never fails so i want you to keep that in mind as we go through this message this morning while we set out to have our own systems and our own plans and our own strategies there is a way that is better than our way and for sake of clarity i'll call it a theocratic way which is god's way of doing things the way that god does things is that before you came here god made a plan and purpose for you and when you got here he has to save you out of his sinful world and through his package of salvation and your relationship with him he reveals to you his plan and purpose that was set before you were even born and when you accept what god has in store for you and you walk hand in hand with jesus each day and you walk along the plans and the path that is set for you you fulfill his will you please him and he prospers you is that amen so it begins with god the word says looking unto jesus the author and the finisher of our faith nobody who is driving to a destination goes into their vehicle starts the vehicle and when they get to the main road is they just step over into the passenger seat and leave the vehicle and then wait to get to their destination they get back behind the wheel and get and part of it doesn't work like that when the bible says jesus is the author and the finisher he starts it he maintains it he does what needs to be done in between and then he pulls you safely into your destination the problem with us is that we don't mind starting with god many of us started off great then somewhere in between our self came up pride came up others came up our kind of systems and and stuff came up and so we lose track of the course that god has planned for us and so it becomes very hard for us after a point in time to get back on course and to let god take over and start to drive put up your hand and say jesus take the wheel yeah take the wheel i will be getting to the text i just need to get a few stuff out of the way so we know who god is often times the problem is we don't know who we are and when we don't know who we are it's not such big of a crisis as we think it is because even when we don't understand ourselves the bible tells us that we should look to jesus but it also says in proverbs 3 5 and 6 trust in the lord with all of your heart don't lean to your own understanding your knowledge your wisdom the way you see an interpreter perceive things but acknowledge god in all of your ways and he will do what there are those who like to say god no interest in the intricacies of your life in a business where you eat of course he does because some of us are sick today because of the diet that we have been on for so many years that's why we've been to the doctor that's why we're spending so much money that is why our life is in a mess god cares about everything that is why you must start to deal with prayer ask god what he need to do now let me show you something because there's an example for this there's a reason why god spent 40 days and 40 nights on the mountain with moses you know what i was up there doing god was giving him detail after detail after detail and when moses came down moses write down every single thing word for word what god said god told moses what to do when to do it how to do it who must be involved what must be used to do what when the tabernacle is built which part it must build what must go in there where the things they must come from where they must position and who is able to go this point that point and that point that is how detailed god is so don't talk about god is not interested in the intricate details of your life if you start with him and leave him in charge trust me your life would be so much better oftentimes we make plans and then we ask god lord please bless what i'm doing and then god feels sorry for us and bless what we're doing because he's god and we are excited about the results but if you are so excited about the little that god can do with the little foolish that you was doing can you imagine if before you started they said lord let me do what you are blessing [Music] what if we start and salad when do not you just tell me what we do tell me what you want to bless and let me do it can you imagine how different our lives would be can you imagine even though let me not go there let me just leave it right here son start up by saying lord let me do what you're blessing let me do what you want me to do let me go where you want me to go let me say what you want me to say and may i dare say say lord let me know only what you want me to know some of us have a rough time thinking straight because of some stuff that we know if we never know some stuff would i feel a little bit better without a simple trust god i move on right minister no man but sometimes when we get wind off certain knowledge it mess way up it takes up a while to get it out of our system and get back on the right track [Music] it's not such an easy burden knowing certain things but let me leave that alone so we have our own system and as a result of in our own system it raises questions questions that we never needed to ask in the first place and often times when god decides that he has had enough of your system and god decides i'm going to step into your little dolly house your little foolishness that you'll build up right here so i have had enough of this i'm going to step in no to change and to transform so that what you are going on is of me and not of yourself or whoever else that does help you to construct this and when god steps in all of a sudden what is going on here we don't understand this thing this thing is foreign to us and so we meet with resistance and we meet it with questions and that is what was happening in the text that we read jesus came about a system that moved away from the way god wanted it to be moved away from how god planned it to a way in which men was doing what they want to do yet the pharisees were traditionalists who were honoring the traditions more than the law you had the sadducees who believed what they feel like and they were dabbling in certain kind of things and they were enforcing what they wanted to enforce they were enforcing their systems and here comes jesus doing things the way god wants to do it jesus said i must do the work of him that sent me my meat is to do the work of the lord god almighty who sent me and here comes jesus doing and saying the way god would want him to say and everybody is like [Music] i owe him where am i making my moves up it can be one of us this dog this don't make no sense and as a result of their confusion as a result of them defending what they had built the bible said they approached him they come to ask questions they come to challenge him they come to tear down what they see even though it is what they see is of god to preserve their system and to preserve their structure and so the first that came to him was was the pharisee because they were too far away to see so they came near to see what was going on and the bible said kim to ask him questions to see how they can entangle him they want to shut him up and to mix him up and to run him out so they came and they pose the first question tell us what you think is it lawful to give to cheese up in other words i'm asking minister brown are we supposed to give it wasn't just about season about taxes it was about giving because jesus had already taught about giving but these people don't want to give anything they want to keep what is theirs and be exclusive so is it lawful to give and i'm trying to come psychological should we give to caesar and jesus mashed them up say ufa picture upon the money say okay see them say give to caesar what is due to caesar whatever you have in your position what god gives you to distribute and to bless somebody a freedom named upon it give it to them god said to give to the poor to give to the needy their nearness and it give it to them don't be mean there's this passage that we read all the way let me go to it second corinthians chapter six nine six and seven say when you're giving you must not give grudgingly or sparingly you must give cheerfully when you read the entire context it's not only about tithe and half entire enough it's applicable but it's about giving generally and when you cross reference it with psalm 112 verse 9 it tells you expressly that when you scatter your gift abraham whatever god share with you when you scatter it abroad to the poor god blesses you and he honors you and he prospers you that's what the bible said so he mash up the pharisees son of god wouldn't i mean self in the coma ask me from us again because jesus was doing things that they weren't doing he was feeding the five thousand and and the three thousand he was delivering people and doing stuff they weren't doing none of them something near jesus was giving giving giving so him mash them up and send them one side the bible says that when the sadducees saw what he did to the pharisee they were up next i'm saying okay we don't never let the pharisees in any way cause we not believe we didn't believe and i'm kind of glad that jesus mashed them up so we go it's our opportunity now to come and be the hero so we are going to come and we are going to come with something more challenging and more complicated when you pass one test with the devil there's another set waiting to follow up when that said fail because the devil know full will that you might pass this test that test and the other test so they're going to keep on coming when the devil tempted jesus in the wilderness after he had fasted and and jesus defeated and the bible said the devil left off tempting him for a season but these men never wait until the deal done the bible said i'm calmly see him dear say okay i'm going to follow up fast because i might have a chance and so they came and they asked him now let us understand what the services are among them were hellenistic jews there were ones who spoke greek and they were into the greek stuff and they were mixed up with greek culture and greek culture had other gods several other gods god for this god for that and god for all kind of stuff and they were also persons who influenced the culture at the time so these were also cultural persons but they leaned away from god and away from the spiritual which is why they don't believe in the resurrection and they were so serious about believing in the resurrection that they don't want to deal with spiritual stuff because if they believe in angels they will have to believe in the god who made them and sent them and that is why when they ask about whose wife will this woman be since there's going to be a resurrection jesus said in those times it will not be that people will marry or get into mark but you shall be as the angels the same angel who they don't want to believe in so jesus says in your face this thing is real you don't want to believe it yeah it did it i saw it go take it or leave it and so jesus mash them up with them question that then bring and so they didn't know what to do and something interesting happened so jesus defeated the pharisees who never liked him he defeated the sadducees who never liked the pharisees who never liked jesus and all of a sudden because they were both defeated by jesus they toward them the bible said they gathered themselves together yeah they have a common enemy now so they presented a united front all of a sudden they were defied but now that jesus shot them down there unite sometimes the enemy will unite with the enemy to present themselves as a stronger front against you that is why some of the attacks that you suffer it seems familiar in more ways than one because you may have defeated each of them in the past but them never done yet them team up and came back after you that's why the bible say must not be ignorant of the devil's devices when you win a battle don't forget what you learn from the battle keep it in your mind and in your spirit because you're going to need it later on [Music] so the pharisees and the sadducees they team up i don't know what you call that that team up but it was wicked when the pharisees first km jesus say you're wicked and i'm saying you're hypocrite and the sadducees came and just usher off into the cm counter with those who lose them go to the in karna and they plan and they plot and they scheme and before the day was done they weren't finished they were very careful they failed as the church because they were of the church this was where religion failed because jesus always emphasized relationship with god when you look through the gospels jesus always emphasized relationship with god this went against the pharisees and their law this went against the sadducees and their culture this man was all about relationship with god and they knew that one's relationship was to take root the traditions would have to go the culture would have to go everything that resembles worldliness will have to go that's all you know in church when a person really see about when them don't save your name no fear of discernment because when you're really safe and you have the real type of relationship with god i heard my daughter sing it this morning thank god for them being real when you real all worldliness leave your mind leave your heart leave your body leave your spirit leave your lifestyle you don't hold on to nothing because light and dark cannot occupy the same position [Music] when you really see it when you really have a real relationship with god certain things must change there are things you will have to let go all right let me give you a check let me give you a quick check and this is for you to check yourself if there are some things that you used to enjoy in the world that are of the world and are not of god and you still enjoy them today then something wrong those things must seek your spiritual stomach so don't feel bad if you're at that place where whirling is sick your stomach is that must happen and if you digest anything well in your choice don't feel bad that is god protecting you god don't want you to defile your system use that check let me move on so after they unite and team up the bible says they sent a lawyer so religion failed to defeat relationship so they send worldliness they send the lawyer let me tell you what the lawyer represents so we can understand the lawyer was not only was he of the church not only did he know what jesus was all about not only did he have an understanding of what jesus is doing he also had a perfect understanding as to what his agenda was and what he wanted to do he followed me so far so his question his question was which of the commandments is the greatest of all of them in other words do you know the law like me i am a student of the law do you know as much as me i know a lot of things what in other words is asking jesus what is your qualification that you are here talking like this where you come from do you know that i am better than you do you know who i am i am a lawyer yeah so he's questioning jesus authority questioning what jesus knows questioning what jesus understands and jesus mash him up yeah what did jesus say the greatest of the commandments is to love the lord your god with everything and to love your neighbor as you love yourself in other words jesus is saying it's not about the law it's about love it's not about the law it's not about what you know it's not about knowledge it's not about qualifications it's not about your experience it's not even about your story or your testimony it is about love sometimes we get up in church and we testify about the goodness of god and where the lord has brought us from and when i was down here on the lord lift me up and put me up here but guess what happened we still not showing no love [Applause] yes everybody sees that you are blessed and we know you're coming from a mighty long way but you're still not showing no love yes we know you've been to the university and you have your papers and your first and second and third and fourth and you get every degree that there is to get but you still don't have no love yes you are a very big established businessman and everybody respect you in the business community and you're in your church but you still have no love yes you are a great person in the community everybody knows you because you go to power of faith and you don't trouble nobody but when somebody's in need and reach out to you you don't show them no love and this is where jesus stop all of the question and it's in a certain amount and you don't know about this thing and start to say love it's not about questioning god it's about learning to love god and to love others and this is where i get into trouble now because many of us oh i love the lord and you come to church and you sing on your praise and you're worshiping nobody holier than you and the presence of the lord is in the place and we are saturated with the anointing hallelujah and chatta tata and you can tell everybody all the good things but when it is time to act for god so loved the world that he gave love is an action it is something that you do it is not just something you say your words are your intentions of what you need to do when you don't talk show it express it act [Music] so jesus said shut up stop out of the question love don't ask question love do what the bible commands you to do and what is funny is that these men know what this didn't did not know what the scripture said because the lawyer was full of himself because they know what the word said him just was not doing it some of us oh i've read the bible cover to cover every year yet really i don't see it in your life i don't see the application all you do is know what it says but you don't do what it says you know what it's and that's what the atheist does the atheist know what your bible says more than you but he does not apply nothing to him life he read about salvation and know about but he doesn't apply to them life so after we stop with the questions we love surprisingly my time is up but i need to move to the next point listen yeah listen what is it that we should listen for jesus took time out throughout his ministry and he sent away people sent away the multitude and he went away by himself and he spent time with god talking to god and listening to god i've observed for the last 20 years in this church there are some not everybody you come to every prayer meeting and nobody have more words than you when you go for prayer and we pray from now till the morning and as soon as you shut your mouth you get up on your gun through the door all you do is talk to god talk to god talk to god and you don't shut up and listen to what god has to say and then you go and do your own thing and say oh god never come true for me well he was there waiting to talk if he would just shut up and listen yeah when you see the lord you must take time out to hear now if i see minister davis and she has information that i want and i come and say minister davis where should i go this morning and then i just run go somewhere by myself that don't make no sense she has not answered me as yet and this is what many of us think pr prayer is not just you talking to god and i'm not saying prayer is communication communication mean that both persons who are speaking hear and understand the understanding part is important because i hear what you say don't mean that you have communicated it means send me here but you don't mean that i understand so because you tell somebody something don't mean that they have understood it so what i do when somebody says something to me especially if i'm getting instructions i repeat what they say back to them in the way i understand it and if they confirm that's what they are saying then my good i know what to do when you come to god and you talk to god and you ask of god and you inquire of god god said in jeremiah 33 3 call upon me and i will do what answer thee and then do what but we don't wait for him to show we don't wait for him to speak we just run sometimes god says responding to us and he's giving us a dream or a vision are he speaking into our spirit and as soon as god started our own god we don't wait to hear everything that's why i said moses spent so much time with god because god was detailed him know what he wants and how he wants it so when we come seeking god take the time out to listen and when god speaks because he will speak i'm not malicious in you him don't hate you him love you more than you can even fathom when he speaks and this is the hard part no and this is why some people don't even want to listen we need to obey what he says follow through don't change nothing just take it and run with it and don't because you're in a crisis you make excuses i said there wasn't enough time oh no god know that there is time ask moses and moses will tell you moses was standing at the bank of the red sea and here comes the fear on his army and there was a red sea before them and there was nowhere to go and this is what wisdom would say we some would say well maybe we have to be leveraged or maybe we have to build some ships so we can go across one by one or in boats or whatever and that would cost more time and more labor and more resources but what did moses do when everybody else moses is going to come and say god one moment what's going on guys oh my god just gossip and by the end of the night by the next morning they were going across the red sea this is how simple complicated and hard things can become if we just see god first listen and just do what him say i'll say this and then i'll close some of us already know what god wants he already gave you the agenda but you have taken it and you have modified it because you must leave your mark correct myself this monetary must look like you worry i'm not too comfortable with how it is and you comfort yourself or you do whatever you want to do and when it don't work out guess who you blame god give you the plan as it was for it to work as it is when you change it is not his anymore so if you get defeated it's your fault it's not god's fault you must learn to stop with the questions stop all the foolishness stop all of them stop stop challenging god stop resisting god let him do what he's doing and love love god love him how can you not love him love him and while you're in love with him love yourself because jesus said must love others like oh you love yourself and the reason some of us cannot love ourselves is because we don't love god and we cannot love others because we don't love ourselves and don't tell me say we love people from afar john said if you say you love god and you're here to your brother you're a murderer you can't say you love god and you hate other persons i don't know if i hit anybody right now i know there are some people that don't like some of their ways but i don't show the baby with the bad water i just don't like some of your ways but i love you anyway we need to learn how to compartmentalize when god was preparing me for ministry as it relates to this aspect of ministry and auxiliary ministry i remember one day he said this to me so listen i'm not sending it anywhere to go unlike anybody you never say love i'm not sending anywhere to go and like anybody the same way i know your strengths and weaknesses and flaws i know everybody else won and you're going to work with people who have strengths and weaknesses and flowers just like all you have strengths are weaknesses and flowers it's not for you to light them but you need to one see the christ in them that i also put in you see the call that they have called him like oh may i also call you see the anointing that they have given them like who have also anointed you and loved them just the same so love them past them wheels love them pass them fast not talking about them sin no sin now father it's not the same thing love them past all of that and you can love the sin out of them too that's what god does to us don't it love the sin out of us and you do all of this and you work with them just the same so friends our time is up but remember this god has a plan and a purpose for you he knows why you are here he know how it must go he has a system that is better than any system that you have made right now god is cancelling your system to institute his system stop resisting it just lay aside every weight and embrace what god has for you the change is not always easy but let it happen the truth hurt but it also heals sometimes the surgeon have to make some incisions in order to repair something in your body for some of us it's going to be a surgical process let god do it there's nobody better than able to do it like him stop resisting god stop without a question stop putting yourself before god and embrace him and let him do what he's doing and while he's doing that love love god love god with everything don't let nothing love him till you have nothing left in you and when you do that you will learn to love yourself and when you love yourself you will learn to love others and it makes it easier for you to listen to god because you will listen better to those who you love the most is that amen so stop love listen and trust god with all of your heart stand with me let us give the advance it's been a wonderful morning so far this wasn't the message that i would have preached but god had other plans he knows why he understands better than we do [Music] you don't need me to tell you to zone out everything around you and to open your mouth and start to give him worship you don't need me to tell you that it's time for you to praise him you don't need me to tell you that it is time for you to pour out yourself on the altar and to ask him to help you to take yourself out of his way so he can institute his plan for you so he can institute his purpose for you you don't need me to tell you that you need to ask god to teach you more how to draw closer to him how to love him more how to understand him more you don't need me to tell you that you need to ask god to teach you how to love yourself it doesn't matter who else don't love you it doesn't matter who hates you it doesn't matter who don't know about you you know where you are right now you don't need me to tell you that it's your turn to ask god to teach you how to love others around you how to do what jesus did god anointed jesus christ of nazareth with the holy ghost and with power and he went about doing good you don't need me to speak on your behalf you know where you are and if you're here this morning and you do not yet know jesus you don't have salvation you don't need me to tell you that now is the time to ask him into your heart we have a little space down here we can pray for you if you are willing to take that step of faith and to walk out here and if you're a child of god and you're struggling with your love for god you're struggling in your relationship with him you're finding it hard to break away from your own system and to embrace the system that god has for your life we are willing to pray for you this morning if you are struggling to learn how to love yourself i abort jesus it's been a battle ever since you have known yourself we have space here for you this morning we can help to pray and help to break that shuttle to destroy that yoke hallelujah and if you are struggling with learning how to love your neighbor we all need to learn we'd ever probably prayed for you as well and if it is that all of the above applies to you or if it is that you just feel like you need another touch from god we don't have no problem praying for you whatever you need whatever your state whatever your situation whatever your circumstance [Music] we thank you for everything that you have done this morning we thank you for every word that was uttered we thank you for the ears that hurt them and we pray that where each of us are right now we'll receive that word into our hearts [Music] and we will let that word transform us almighty god from the inside almighty god to the outside every stronghold of the enemy we commit them to you right now in the name of jesus we pray almighty god that you help us to pull them down to root them up almighty god and to cast them down and to allow you to build up yourself in our lives father god even if we have invested a lot of time in it even if we have invested a lot of energy a lot of effort almighty god nobody can do it better than you so help us almighty god to let go and to leave behind the alabo chandelier and to move forward oh god almighty into your loving hearts where you can wrap us up and love us and protect us where we can feel every heart beat almighty god ah jesus oh god father god search us even though search and find almighty god those things that do not belong hey jesus and help us to remove them and add to us almighty god the things that ought to be there father transform the things that needs to be transformed repair the things that needs to be repaired oh god but above all almighty god later will be done father god we pray for the salvation of those among us who have come to receive we pray that you remove every stumbling block our jesus we pray to remove every yoke of bondage of sin destroy every fitter and every shackler god that keeps such ones bound let them be free almighty to come to know you as lord and savior to hunger and to thirst for righteousness and for holiness so that they shall come out from among them and be separated unto you father god help us all to lay our burdens at your feet television and to take up your cross and to follow you we thank you for hearing and we thank you for answering in jesus name hallelujah just go ahead and worship the king of kings worship the lord of lords come on praise it come on worship him he is worthy of praise he is worthy of honor hallelujah receive minister davis in jesus name hallelujah jesus [Music] just go ahead leave both hands in his presence again hallelujah glory to god praise god as we are getting ready to honor the lord i want everyone to stand the different areas just leave both hands in his presence and before the lord with a conscious heart this morning i want to say lord just repeat after me lord jesus i am not my own i know i belong to you and so this morning lord i am asking you for all the added grace to be obedient to your word and to live according to them and to serve you with all sincerity of heart in jesus name in jesus name hallelujah glory to god god bless you this morning you can have your seeds praise god getting ready to bless the lord with our gifts your tithes and your offering tithes is one it's a full day prior and fasting so we're asking you if you can make some time get a day off from work you're at home make some time this week you know we're in the lenten season and we're observing 40 days and 30 nights of fasting and poor these are three to start with you don't have to do all 40 but we are doing it in chains and in sections different ones at different times observing praise god these 40 days so we are having three special ones here this week wednesday thursday and friday we'll be having three days of fasting so try to be a part of at least one all the newly baptized and yesterday we were at the seaside where we saw 34 persons baptized in water in a covered condition god has been tremendously good and there's a remnant that god is bringing in and we know that there's yet more to come put your hands together and give the lord a big hand and yesterday we watched 34 souls oh praise god baptized in water immediately after we are through here i did not acknowledge those i'm 34 because i know they would have been in other sections so i would not have all of them inside here so immediately after we are through all those 34 persons that were baptized we are going to meet with you in the upper room sanctuary that is the third floor over lot 14 in the upper room sanctuary or the newly baptized we're going to meet with you immediately after we are through here in this worship service and also by the word institute we are still doing registration you don't have to be a member of the power of faith ministries as long as you're a born-again christian and you're under pastoral care of a ministry praise god you can be enrolled as i say is one of the most reasonable bible school that you'll find and it is very very effective only professional lecturers are here
