we move forward in this service of worship of our sisters and brothers who need hope this morning because they are grieving a loss our member ruthie turnage grieves the loss of her daughter rhonda turnage our member leona provide grieves the loss of her grandson caleb h j lewis our member luella lipsy grieves the loss of her brother sergeant robert pierce lipsy i remember joseph gilmore grieves the loss of his son our member travail miller i remember bobby clark grieves the loss of her brother willie thompson and sheila taylor grieves the loss of her husband and our member willie taylor if you are grieving any kind of loss this morning we are praying for you we know that god is the healer god is the comforter wherever you are will you join us in prayer right now father in the name of jesus we thank you lord god that you are faithful we thank you lord that we know who you are there are people who stand in this room who over many years have had to bury loved ones they've had to experience grief for themselves and they can testify that you are the god of all comfort and so lord today we lift up our salem family members and those who are grieving the loss of a son a brother a grandson a husband and a friend a wife a mother god we ask that you would strengthen their heart your word says that if we wait on you and be of good courage that you would strengthen our heart strengthen someone's heart today be the lifter of their bow down head today and lord may something that's said in this service through our worship remind them of their hope in you we love you lord in gotta go but i got a reason to praise him i got a right to praise him somebody said you don't know my story you don't know what i've been through just to get here to worship today cost me something and some of you said at home i can't wait to get in church and now you're hearing you just as quiet as you are at home the bible says behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity there have been some times when i didn't have the strength by myself it's been sometimes i didn't feel like it but i said if i could just make it to church on sunday morning that i feel a little better sometimes it's something about just being in the household just being around other believers other people that believe in god so today we want to sing an old song that i know stuff he kept you from the stuff he blessed you with you ought to be able to turn around and tell somebody he's been wonderful in my life we celebrate a great and an amazing god you can take your seat in this place if you can if you can't continue to worship him and praise him for his faithfulness his kindness and his goodness it's another sunday that god has blessed us it's another week that god has kept us it's another month that he allowed the deaf angel to pass over our house somebody ought to be glad about being in the house of god one more time we celebrate those of you who are alive in what we're feeling in this place today i believe a life is going to be changed today some dried some tears stay nigh it's going to be dried up today some broken heart is going to be mended back schedule so on first and third sundays as you know we are in person here at the house of hope starting at 10 30 a.m and then on second and fourth sundays we are virtual only and that starts at 11 a.m and don't forget on first and third sundays you need to be massed up while you're in the sanctuary worm your mass it is very important for you to put on that mass if you vaccinate it or not throw on that mask and stop lying telling people you vaccinated and you know dang going well you ain't vaccinated you over trying to get people sick don't forget to wear your mask now on third sunday when you guys come back we are going to have baby dedication so if you have a baby who has not been dedicated to the lord make sure you sign them up at salemchicago.org and we're also going to have a contact list family day so we're going to have some activities for the children and things like that we're also going to be safe so make sure you invite your whole family here for family day on the third september on mondays we have a power series with some amazing speakers on some amazing topics and then on tuesdays my brother he is a personal trainer and he's amazing so trent meeks jr is going to be doing some personal training classes they are all free every tuesday in september and then on thursday nights we have hope groups so if you are looking to connect with a group of salem members you churches in chicago the fellowship baptist church of chicago and uh served that church so faithfully and so well and dr uh tara jenkins was here with our first lady so many times we know him we thank god for his ministry he is becoming i heard reverend thurston say one of these digital uh disciples i love it he's out there on the ethernet and ether wade so to speak and creating digital content in quick story really fast i came to chicago in 1996 to go to moody bible institute hey denise and and my pastor in florida told me that there's only one church you should join when you get to chicago i said what's that church he said salem baptist church of chicago i didn't have any money i was going to moody bible institute i didn't have any money at all and uh i i got a hold of the church office and said that i was supposed to come and and pastor meeks was notified and he sent me a cab to bring me from downtown all the way to 118th and and i ran with him for multiple sundays um from the house to the church in the cove in january you know i was from florida so i thought i was going to heaven it was so cold in chicago but but but he would pay for me to come all the way to salem and he would have gerald take me home and gerald took me to ribs and bibs in hyde park y'all remember ribs and bibs yeah i ate so much of it they closed they shut down ain't no more ain't no more so i told y'all that quick story to tell y'all technically i'm a member of salem technic technically i'm a member i'm a member so i'm excited to be home come on y'all y'all get on your feet all over the building first started my bus broke down and he said that preacher right there didn't he say it walter he said that preacher right there reverend meeks got my bus fixed fed my whole choir and he said i'll never forget i'm always indebted to you this is way before anybody knew who john p key was they just called me up and told me that his bus had broke down and so we helped him you never know you never know you never know so we thank the lord reverend jenkins i'm so excited and happy for all that god has done with you for you for your success come on give it up [Music] amen amen next sunday morning antonio he and his wife stand up william my brother is with us today as a matter of fact i was cleaning out my father's closet on friday night and found this shirt this is my father's shirt and i wanted to wear it today out of my father i know y'all think i dressed like security not all this happened not security this is my father's shirt and i wanted to wear it to honor my father amen amen i'm trying to figure out how to catch my breath now but we honor god for his loving kindness praise team you all were really good today malcolm what a wonderful wonderful worship i i want i want to just stop uh for half a second it is no secretary what god can do it's been a tragic week in the city of chicago the family where the young man was taking his child to school he's a member of our church and that family is here today to gilmore family they're here today i'm praying for you all the church is praying for you i'm getting ready to say a prayer for you in just a moment what kind of city does we do we live in when somebody is simply taking their child to school and a driver comes and uh cut them off and shoot them not only that but one of our members ms ruthie turnage is here today she lost her daughter this week but listen to this this is the third child she's lost in four years you never know what pain is sitting next to you you never know who god has put next to you be kind be loving send off good vibrations and i'm happy to say to the members of our church who the gilmore family ms turner church is the right place for you to be [Music] there a lot of people pay them when they're hurting when they're going through they stay away from church talking about church is the only place we gonna heal it's the only place we gonna get better can we pray for a minute for our members our father and our god we pause to lift up the gilmore family the turnage family and all of the families of our church that are suffering bereavement we know like reverend clay evans taught us so many years it's no secret what you can do god i pray that you would wipe the tears from their eyes i pray that you would heal their broken heart i pray that you would bless that darling six-year-old girl who was shielded by her father who watched her father be gunned down and then in the midst of that there were two four-year-olds shot in the head this week 14 year old boy god we need you chicago needs you and then while we while we're praying people in new orleans need you people on the east coast need you died in the midst of the floods in the midst of the rains the storms we know that you're still god so we just put you in your proper place on the throne we see you as isaiah did high and lifted up heal now all of us who stand in need of healing we love you in jesus name amen just look at somebody and say i'm praying for you look at somebody else and say i'm praying for you amen ephesians chapter 1 ephesians chapter one ephesians chapter one paul's a letter to the church at ephesus let me start at the first verse i want to read to the third verse it's the third verse i want to teach this morning oh it's good to see people oh my god it's good to see people i ain't i ain't kidding i'm gonna just give my one little little speech of confession it's starting to get to me preaching with nobody in here i just want y'all to know just one sunday when y'all watching if y'all just see me going just know that it got to me amen ephesians chapter 1 verse 1 paul an apostle of jesus christ how thank you jesus by the will of god to the saints which are at ephesus and to the faithful in christ jesus grace my testimony is grace grace be unto you and peace from god our father and from the lord jesus christ here it is blessed be the god and father of our lord jesus christ who hath blessed us with some spiritual blessing with a few spiritual blessings who have blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in christ tell the person next to your neighbor if only you could see you as god sees you amen amen if only you could see you the way god sees you i came today this morning in salem to tell somebody be of good courage i i said be of good courage i i know that there's a lot going on i know that we are seeing things that we've never seen before but i came today my assignment is to tell you be of good courage there was a blind man in the book of mark and jesus sent for the blind man and listened to what the people said to him be of good cheer he called it for thee i came by to tell somebody today be of good cheer the master has sent me to call for you to tell you that everything is going to be it's going to be all right will you tell somebody everything's going to be all right i came by to ask somebody to do me a favor i want you to do me a favor on your behalf what is the favor i want you to stop beating yourself up i came by to tell somebody stop thinking that god is mad at you and stop thinking that things will never get better it's about to get better right now amen listen now listen now listen now god is on your side anybody here born again anybody except jesus tell somebody next to you i'm saved tell somebody on the other side of you i'm saved if you are saved god is on your side as a matter of fact if you are saved and you know that god is on your side if god before us who can be against us god for us is more than the whole world against us i wish i had some help here today we got to be careful now and this is why god has sent me here with this assignment today because covet can mess our mind up anybody here walking with me covet has somebody here discouraged cobit has somebody here depressed because we are facing stuff that we've never faced before we're sitting up in church with masks on uh the job is using cobit as an excuse to lay some people off we are in a dilemma about whether to send kids to school or not to send kids to school and then there are people fighting over should kids wear masks or should kids not wear masks we live in a world where people are fighting over whether or not we should get vaccinated or not get vaccinated and then we have foods among us that's taking horse pills they sold eight thousand now how in the world can you argue about a vaccine saying that you know that the vaccine don't work in the vaccine and then somebody gonna give you some horse pills something you ain't never first of all you ain't no horse you ain't no horse and then you're gonna take the hospital oh yeah now this this will do it this will do it all right it'll it'll do it all right it'll do it all right you ain't gonna have to worry about covet or the next disease to come along either i came by to remind the church today that's all i am i'm just a reminder to remind you that god has not forsaken you will you help me will you tell somebody god is not forsaking you not only as god has not forsaken you god has not given up on you god has not turned his back on you god is aware of everything that is happening as a matter of fact watch this now god knows what's happening before it gonna happen and thank you jesus and not only does he know what's gonna happen before it happens because he loves you he gives you the strength to deal with what's going to happen before it happens so that when it happens he knows that he's already equipped you to handle what's going to happen before it happens he knows already that he's giving you the capacity to deal with what's coming your way if only we could see if only we could see what god sees if only we could change our vantage point the book of ephesians you are false in the bible of the book written by paul i don't want us to forget now that each book of the bible has a theme and each book of the bible is designed to teach us a different lesson and each book of the bible is designed to help us see god from a new or different perspective in other words the theme of the book of genesis is the beginning do you know that god was in the beginning do you know that it was god who began the beginning i'm just here to tell somebody today oh yeah he began the beginning i heard you laugh about that not only did he begin the beginning he started start i hear him saying i am alpha and omega the bible says that in the beginning you see first first words of the bible in the beginning god amen everything started with god god is the one who said let there be make sure now holy spirit make sure now that whatever you're doing whatever your project is whatever you're up to as a believer make sure that god is in your beginning [Applause] huh are you with me here because if god is in the beginning don't don't come and wait and put god late a lot of us get married and stuff like that then things start falling apart and then we want to call on god call on god at the beginning because if god if god watch this is in the beginning he who has begun a good word shall perform it until the day of jesus christ the the the theme of the book of exodus excellence that's the next book the theme of the book of exodus is exit or deliverance it is in that book that we hear the story of the children of israel how they were in bondage for 400 years and god delivered them nobody knows that story as well as the negro in america that god is a deliverer but not only did god deliver israel not only to god deliver negro people but there's somebody sitting here today who could tell us that god is a deliverer in the delivery it is delivered that ought to be some ex-drug addicts who could tell us that god is a deliverer as a matter of fact you may not be an ex-drug addict but you are an ex-something and god delivered you from whatever had you in bondage as a matter of fact everybody here should be able to say something because i was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shores but is there anybody that can say god brought your soul from darkness into the marvelous life he's a deliverer [Applause] the theme of the book of exodus is holiness because let's not ever forget now that our god he's awesome he's awesome he is awesome but he's holy i said he's holy he's separate and he's set apart don't don't use god now like he is a play thing or like a little friend to somebody god is holy i'm so glad that i'm a friend of god but i'm a friend of a holy god i gotta move on the theme of the book of matthew is the kingdom don't forget now my brothers and my sisters that we are citizens of a kingdom and whenever i hear the word kingdom the first thing i think of is king and if i am a citizen marzella of the kingdom then if you got any kind of sense i wonder if there's somebody here with some says ask the person next to you do you have good sense and the person who didn't answer you ain't got no good sense watch this if you are citizens of the kingdom the first thing you ought to think of every morning is how could i make the king happy huh matthew was trying to tell us now that we are citizens of a new kingdom and we ought to make the king happy but then luke comes along now watch this i hope the holy spirit gives me some preaching right here uh the theme of the book of luke is son of man because luke wanted us to know that jesus christ is 100 man why is that important because i came to tell somebody today that every pain that you feel every anxiety that you feel every uh uh uh a moment of depression that you could possibly have he knows just how you feel because luke was describing him as man i said jesus was a hundred percent man but then somebody is sitting here saying well if he's a hundred percent man how could a man die for me he's a man just like i am so john came along and said even though he's a hundred percent man the theme of the book of john is son of god because he's also 100 god and that's who died for you you do know that don't you so somebody say how could that be how could jesus be a hundred percent man i tell you how because he was man on his mama's side [Applause] i wish i had some help here and he was a hunt and he was all god on his daddy's side are you with me you do know who his father is don't you and and so these books are trying to get us to see other perspectives and to teach us things the book of ephesians is a book about wealth amen amen i said it's a book about wealth the theme of the book of ephesians is a book about riches and do you know who's rich in ephesians do you know who paul is telling us who's rich do you know who's rich tell the person next to you you are rich tell them i am rich amen amen the theme of the book of ephesians is wealth and riches now listen this might be all i get to say god does not see you as a failure god does not see you as a disappointment god does not see you as a mess up sometimes we project an image of ourselves and we start believing it so long until we think everybody do you remember when the spies went in the book of numbers to conquer the land there was uh 12 of them and and 10 of them had a bad report and 10 of them said let's just listen to what they said they said the people of the land uh they they they are giants and they eat up people like us they said the people of the land uh they saw us as grasshoppers so we saw ourselves didn't nobody ever say them people over there saw them as grasshoppers they saw themselves as grasshoppers and they started thinking that everybody else was thinking what they were thinking i came to remind you thank you holy spirit that as a man thinketh in his heart amen as as a man thinketh in his heart so is he the book of ephesians is designed to teach us that god sees something different than we see and god sees some good stuff in you amen amen uh revelation chapter 1 verse 10 revelation chapter 1 verse 10 about time for me to change my my bible's falling apart i love this bible but my bible i got some pages that been bit off revelation chapter 1 verse 10 i was in the spirit on the lord today i love that and i heard uh behind me a great voice of a trumpet uh some of you all wondering why we have so much singing i know you are i know you are you said in that one we've been here a whole hour they say because we trying to make sure we get in the spirit [Applause] on the lord's day listen now put that verse back up uh revelation chapter 1 verse 10 i was in the spirit on the lord's day and heard behind we're trying to make sure that we're in the spirit so we can hear something matter of fact as rough of a week as we've been having as difficult as life is don't think now that we could just walk in here and be ready to hear a word some some ground has to be plowed some some some soil has to be dug up and turned over some some meanness has to be washed and wiped away and and that's why we have so much singing by the way just to explain it to those of you who were thinking it's so that we could be in the spirit on the lord's day so that we could be prepared to hear something he said i was in the spirit on the lord's day revelation chapter four verse one let's let's go on to see what happened revelation chapter four verse one after this i looked and behold a door was open where in heaven and the first verse voice which i heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me which said come up hither and i will show you things which must be here after look at the second verse and immediately i was in the spirit and behold a throne was set in heaven and one sat on the throne let me tell you something now because uh this is trying to give us god's view god to be let me say god's view here is a contrasting view you have john on earth and john you all uh had given up everything to follow jesus this is john that john saint john the disciple uh the brother of james this is john john had given up everything to follow jesus he is now at the time of this text reverend sean reverend stephen he's on the owl of patamus he has been banished there for preaching the gospel let me hear you say earth's view he he's on he's on an island and every disciple except for john has been killed matter of fact jesus himself was dead christianity the faith that so many of them had put their hopes in had been dashed and it looks like it had been crucified all hope seemed to be gone all hope seemed to be lost then one sunday i'm telling you now god can change stuff on a sunday amen in a moment in the twinkling of an eye one sunday john had a visit from jesus he said i was in the spirit on the lord's day and jesus said to him john you you ought to come and go with me somewhere i want to take you somewhere i want you to come and go with me to my father's house i wish i had some people from the old church here today and jesus says to john i know things look bad from your perspective i need i know things look bad from your vantage point but let me show you something come up here come come come up here come up here and i want you to see things from this vantage point because from this throne right here i'm calling the shocks this throne is not empty from this throne right here i'm still in charge i don't care how bad things look on earth i don't care what the coronavirus looked like i know what you've been saying i know what dr faust is saying it looks like that we're going to be in this thing through another winter i came to tell you we could be in it through the winter of 2026. god is on the throne and god is calling the shot and if we're in it through 2026 god has a reason that he wants us right where we are hallelujah i wish i had time i wish i had time in matthew chapter 16 don't put that one up put matthew chapter 17. let me explain matthew chapter 16. jesus had been talking to the disciples he said listen now i'm getting ready to be crucified they're going to kill me uh peter said get uh uh uh i ain't gonna let that happen that well too fast matthew 16. matthew 16. why am i going to explain something i could read from that time forth began jesus to show unto his disciples how that he must go unto jerusalem and do what suffer many things of the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and be killed and raised again the third day watch this then peter took him and began to rebuke him saying be it far from thee lord this shall not be unto thee but he turned and said unto peter get thee behind me satan for thou art an offense unto me but our savior is not the things that be of god but those things which be of me and jesus was trying to tell the disciples now things on earth look bad they're going to even look worse amen because i'm getting ready to suffer and i'm getting ready to be killed the disciples were tripping out they didn't understand it they couldn't get it jesus said let me let let me show them something else matthew chapter 17 that's after matthew 16 matthew 17. i mean i know y'all went to public school i just got to be a blessing to you and after six days jesus taketh peter james and john remember now it's just peter who was just trying to tell him that uh he ain't gonna let him die and all that kind of stuff and bringing them unto a high mountain apart watch this and he was and he was transfigured before them and his face did shine as the sun and his raiment was as uh white as the light and behold there appeared unto them moses and elijah talking with him now now he was just telling them marty in one scene that he was going to be killed he was going to be crucified and they were saying no we can't let that he took them up on the mountain and said let me show them who i really am and so he was transfigured which means turned inside out and you know when the inside of jesus showing up on the outside they they saw a little bit of all god are you with me here because the all-god side was different from the all-men side i wish i had some help here uh then answered peter now peter's gonna speak up again and said unto him lord uh it's good for us to be here if thou wilt let us make three tabernacles one for you and one for moses and one for elijah let me go on and then i'm through while he yet spake behold the bright cloud overshadowed them and behold a voice out of the cloud which said what did it say this is my beloved son in whom i am well pleased y'all better hearing in other words in other words they were on earth and peter was trying to rebuke jesus and say this ain't going to happen jesus took them up on the mountain and said i better let my daddy speak and sometimes you all should get off of facebook and you should stop arguing with people and you better let your father fight some of these battles because if we hold our peace and let the lord fight our battles we will see victory sooner than later god said no no no no no no i got him i got him i know what he's talking about i know that you might might not understand what he just said but i got it this is my beloved son you see you all you see you all uh we're crying and we're upset because we're looking at things from the wrong viewpoint it's very understandable we're not to be condemned because first corinthians chapter 13 verse 12 says that you and i uh for now we see through what a glass darkly so our vision is a little obscured obscured and we see through a glass darkly but the reason we're crying and upset is because we're looking at things from the wrong viewpoint are you with me here if only we could see what god sees i i need to i need to hurry up it's already 12 o'clock but let me remind you now number two satan doesn't want you to know who you are i said i said satan doesn't want you to know who you are will you look at the person next to you if it's a man say mister if it's a woman say woman you are a mighty woman of god if it's a man say you're a mighty man of god you're somebody now you're somebody now you're somebody in the devil don't want you to know how bad you are devil don't want you to know that you somebody devil don't want you to know that you are a mighty warrior of god a mighty son a mighty daughter of god he's trying to hide this from you that's why he has you looking at everything from an earthly perspective because from an earthly perspective you never could see how mighty or what a great warrior you are micah chapter four verse nine michael chapter four verse nine michael chapter four verse nine i need to just pull this now why dost thou cry out loud is there no king in thee i came to tell you now it's a king in you women there is a queen oh i wish i had a real church i said it's the king and all the men it's a queen and all the women and i don't care i know we dropped all kinds of titles and stuff women you can if you want a king to be in you you could have a king being you because it is a king in you i said it's a king in you and as long as i get king jesus i don't need nobody else we're running around here like we are orphans or like with nobody don't you know that it's a king inside of you but the devil don't want you to know it now the devil wants us to think the opposite here hear this and you might have uh your whole breakthrough the devil wants us to think the opposite of what god wants us to think don't ever forget now we have an enemy the devil is our enemy and he wants us to think the opposite of what god wants us to think uh genesis chapter three let me show you now let me show you genesis chapter three now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the lord god had made and he said unto the woman yea have god said he shall not eat of every tree of the garden and he knew what god said and the woman said unto the serpent we may eat of the fruit first of all stop talking to the devil amen stop stop stop stop talking to the devil and listen now if you're a child of god you know who the devil is you know just as sure when the devil then drew you into a conversation you know who he are y'all with me here and the woman said unto the serpent we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden god hath said ye shall not eat of it neither shall ye touch it lest she die watch this and the serpent said unto the woman ye shall not surely die the devil wants you to think this morning opposite of what god has for you are you with me so if the devil is telling you this morning you're weak that's how you know you strong i wish i had some help here today i said if he's telling you how incapacitated and how you can't do nothing that's how you know you strong as a matter of fact go on and be weak i got a sermon called b week i ain't preaching in a long time uh go on and be weak because paul said when i'm weak and when i'm not dependent on myself and when i'm not dependent on my own strength when i am weak that's when i am strong if the devil is telling somebody here today that you are defeated you're defeated it's all over that's how you know you got the victory that that that's how you know you got the victory because the devil is going to always tell you what's opposite of the truth if the devil is telling you you are worthless that's how you know you you're worth somebody you don't need jesse jackson you don't need me or nobody else to tell you that you are somebody the fact that you are a child of the living god it lets you know that you are somebody here it is right here this is somebody shout if the devil is telling you and he keeps telling you over and over that you are sick that's how you know that you are well that's how you know that you are healed by his stripes we uh when the devil keeps telling you that you can't and you'll never be able to do it and it won't happen for you and it ain't happening but nobody in your family and it won't that's how you know you can that's how you know you can because i can do i don't know about you maybe maybe maybe you dropped off the radar but i learned that i can do all things through christ that gives me the strength therefore when the devil keeps telling you how poor you are and how broke you are you got to stand up and rub back and know that you i didn't say say it to him because i just told you stop talking to the devil but you got to ran back and say to yourself then that means i'm rich that means i'm rich because my father is rich in houses and in land he i'm done tell somebody change your focus tell somebody else change your focus that's what we have to learn to do that's what we have to learn to do now the pandemic has been long the pandemic might even be longer but we got to stop looking at whatever we've been looking at we got to change our focus paul says in ephesians chapter one blessed be god who has done something for us what did he do paul bless be god the father of our lord jesus christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in christ jesus let me stop and lift up jesus two four for a minute here because he said if i did that he withdraw you ain't blessed because of nothing you did we ain't blessed because we went to englewood or we went to gage park that ain't we blessed because we live in country club hills or in crete that ain't why we're blessed we're not blessed because we got a certain amount of money in the bank we are blessed because of jesus and we are rich because of jesus and god sees me as the head and not the tail because i am associated with jesus because when i come to god i don't have to come to god and i cannot come to god in the name of james meeks because it doesn't mean nothing james meeks is too weak james mix is too sinful james meeks got too much black and too much shame but when i come to him i don't come to him in the name of james meeks i come to him in the name of the resurrected the blessed the savior [Applause] i i i come to him through the savior and i'll tell you that there are many people who've been able to get close to me there are there are people that i don't know who've been able to get close to me they were little kids when we had a school who used to get close to me and i and and and people used to wonder why is he spending time with this little kid i almost need the clothes right here why is he spending time with this little kid does he know this little kid and you know how the little kid used to get close to me they used to come up to me and say i'm in your son class and your son said i could talk to you and i didn't ever want to discipline disappoint a little child who came to me in the name of my son i didn't want to disappoint a little child who came to me and said uh your son told me that if i just get to you you will fix whatever the problem is and i came to tell you salem there is a name that we have your name might not work the name salem might not work the name meeks definitely will not work but there is a name i love to hear and i love to sing its work it sounds like music in my ear it's the sweetest name on earth oh how i love jesus is that anybody here that loves jesus what i came to tell the gilmore family that's grieving this morning all you got to do is use his name i came to tell miss turnage who's grieving this morning use his name as a matter of fact step to jesus and everything will be all right step to jesus he'll be your god and your life step to jesus all your battles he'll help you fight stab to jesus and he'll make everything all right don't fool me now but is there anybody here that ever used that name is there anybody here that ever called on that name can you tell somebody next to you i called on jesus and he heard my cry i called on jesus and he heard my prayer listen to what the bible says blessed be god who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings that means we already have it we don't have to wait on it everything you need to live holy you got it everything you need to forgive people you got it everything you need to walk the right walk you got it and if you forget what it is that you got you got a name that's above every name that at the name of jesus every demon in hell got to leave you alone at the name of jesus every demon in hell got to bow down and confess can you just call him one time can you just call him one other time can you just call him one last time jesus jesus jesus jesus [Applause] you got everything you need we've been blessed with all spiritual blessings when when my children were born i was in the delivery room and i used to pray to prayers god keep jamelle safe and give the babies five fingers five toes y'all remember that prayer and when i looked and they had five fingers on this hand five and ten fingers ten toes when i looked you know what i never prayed for them to have five feet ten fingers and ten toes no more because they got them and you got all spiritual blessings you got them already you don't have to pray for no more spirits you got it now what has to happen is i pray now for the development of the we are in the process of being developed but you got everything that you need right now to have all the faith you need to have all the joy you need to have all the love stop looking for it you got it you just got to see yourself as god sees you and never unclothing right here this is it this is it no more preaching never take your eyes off jesus you remember peter got out the boat he was walking to jesus and he was gone and everything was all right it's not until he looked around stop looking around stop looking at everything else don't take your eyes off jesus and see things from god's perspective because you got everything you came from never to be found again god somebody here is in financial trouble somebody here is in financial difficulty i pray right now holy spirit that you would bless the finances of that woman and that man who walked in here today saying if i could just make it to church i'll hear something from god god i pray right now that when they get back to the bank account something has been reversed god i pray for the person that's having problem trouble with the irs i don't know who it is but the irs is keeping somebody up at night there's somebody that can't sleep because of tax problems i pray right now that you would give them a favorable person to talk to tomorrow that next time they talk back to the irs that everything has been reversed and that it works out in their favor god i pray now for those parents with children in school who are worried about the virus every time they send the children to school i pray holy spirit that every parent here would start anointing their mask with oil so that their children would go to school not just with a mask on but with an anointed mask on i plead the blood i plead the blood over our children i plead the blood over our neighborhoods i plead the blood god i pray now that you would wipe the tears from somebody's eyes who've been crying all week long looking for an answer i pray that you would show them things from your viewpoint and now god i pray that if there's anybody that i miss that don't know you that they would find you in jesus name amen look this way if you're not a member of a church maybe you used to go to church but for some reason you stopped going and now you don't have a church you could call home if you're not a member of a church will you raise your hand will you raise your hand will you raise your hand i see you i see you i see you god bless you god bless you you may lower your hands i want you to know i'm praying for you if it's right to be in church it's wrong to be out the devil didn't want you in church because he doesn't want you to hear the word because it's only faith that cometh by hearing but he can't stop you it takes two votes to get you in church the devil has voted against you god has voted for you you gotta cast the deciding vote i want you to pray right now those of you who are not members of a church and say god i need a church and if this is the church i need to join today holy spirit of god hear our prayer in jesus name amen when i count to three the members of the church are going to sit down when the members of the church sit down you're already standing don't you sit whole again listen now it is because of your relationship with jesus that you have a relationship with god it is because jesus died for all of us and so jesus said i don't want you to forget how important my death is i don't want you to forget what my blood can do so whenever y'all get together have a little ceremony have a little meal and just do it in remembrance of me so his body was bruised and battered and broken for us he was bruised for our iniquity at the count of three can we break it together one two three thank god for his body let's eat it together let me tell you this i don't care what cure remedy the world comes up with the blood still works i i i don't care what they try to do to say the blood still works and you still you and i can depend on this blood to get matter of fact the blood got us through covet i better stop i need to stop i better stop and those of you who had covet the blood kept you from being taken over [Applause] it's never our goodness it's never our word so stop beating yourself up because let me tell you not you ain't no good and you are unworthy and you'll always be unworthy but this blood makes you worthy it makes you worthy that's why we saying hallelujah's salvation and glory honor and power to the lord because he made us worthy and so let's drink together as often as you eat this blood and drink this cup you show forth the lord's death burial and resurrection till he comes remain standing remain standing vaccinations are available for everybody that's uh 12 years old and older you can get them and get services tonight
