'S WEATHER LEADER, CHIEF METEOROLOGIST BILL RANDBY. WITH YOUR ACCURATE WEATHER NOW FORECAST, EAST GRANBY FACTOR TIME FOR TUESDAY, A SEVEN PLEASANT FOR BEING IN WORKING OUTSIDE. NICE DAY TO MAMAYBE CLEAN UP IF YOU HAD SOME DAMAGE THIS EVENING FROM THUNDERSTORM FORMS. NO LONGER A TORNADO WATCH FOR THE OMAHA METRO. PARTS OF THE VIEWING AREA STILL IN THE WATCH GOES UNTIL 11:00. WE'RE STILL FOLLOWING THUNDERSTORMS IN WESTERN IOWA, ALTHOUGH THEY'RE EAST OF ATLANTIC. EAST OF HARLAN, THE SEVERE PARTS OF THEM, BUT STILL LUKE. LET'S ZOOM IN HERE TO UP AROUND CARROLL COUNTY, IOWA, WHERE WE STILL HAVE A TORNADO WARNING, A CONTINUATION OF THE CELL THAT WE BELIEVE MAY HAVE PRODUCED A SMALL TORNADO JUST EAST OF MINDEN AND TRACKED UP THROUGH SHELBY COUNTY AND NOW NORTHWEST OF CARROLL. THE WARNING THERE GOES UNTIL 1030. YOU KNOW, TODAY THE HIGH TEMPERATURE HAS BEEN 75 DEGREES. IT WAS WARM ENOUGH AND STORMS JUST REALLY GOT GOING ABOUT OVER THE OMAHA METRO OR JUST EAST OF US, ABOUT A HALF AN INCH OF RAIN. NOW AT EPPLEY AIRFIELD. PRETTY QUIET DOWNTOWN TOWN. LIGHTNING FLASHES OFF TO THE EAST OF US. ROADS ARE WET. 59 DEGREES EPPLEY AIRFIELD JUST BEFORE THE TOP OF THE HOUR WAS REPORTING RAIN, BUT LIGHT WINDS AND A DEW POINT OF 58. THERE'S LIVE SUPER DOPPLER SEVEN RADAR. THE STORMS INTO CARROLL COUNTY INTO AUDUBON COUNTY, INTO FAR EASTERN CASS COUNTY. HERE'S THE STORM WITH THE POTENTIAL TORNADO, OR AT LEAST THE CONTINUATION OF THE WARNING. IF THERE WAS ONE, IT WOULD BE NORTHWEST OF CARROLL, HERE IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF CARROLL COUNTY, NEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS, THOUGH, FOR THE WHOLE LINE. NASTY STORM DOWN HERE AROUND FALLS CITY WITH SOME VERY, VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. ALSO UP HERE INTO ROCKPORT AND TARKIO OF ATCHISON COUNTY OF MISSOURI. FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS FOR SOME OF THESE AREAS AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS FOR THE CELLS DOWN INTO KANSAS. SO A NASTY EVENING HERE AS THE STORMS DEVELOPED, ARE SPREADING EASTWARD. BIG LINE OF STORMS DOWN INTO THE KANSAS CITY AREA JUST WEST OF THERE. RIGHT NOW, THE FRONTAL SYSTEM CONTINUES TO MOVE EASTWARD. NICE WEATHER TOMORROW. WE MENTIONED PLEASANT DAY. SLIGHT CHANCE OF A SHOWER IN THE AFTERNOON, THEN. PRETTY QUIET FOR TOMORROW NIGHT. AND THEN IT LOOKS LIKE THE UPPER LEVEL KIND OF REFORM HERE INTO THE SIOUXLAND. AND THERE'S A CHANCE THERE COULD BE A LITTLE BIT OF ROTATION THERE WITH MAYBE A FEW SPIN UP THUNDERSTORMS. AND SO SMALL SEVERE WEATHER. CHANCE FOR NORTHWEST IOWA AND WEST CENTRAL IOWA NORTH OF THE OMAHA METRO. WILL WATCH THAT. THAT'S FOR WEDNESDAY. HERE'S OVERNIGHT STORMS MOVE OUT UPPER 40S BY MORNING. SUNSHINE ON THE WAY FOR MIDDAY TUESDAY. TEMPERATURES IN THE MID AND UPPER 60S AND AGAIN FOR THE AFTERNOON, MAYBE JUST A LITTLE SPOTTY SHOWER TO POP UP. A FEW CLOUDS. LATE DAY TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70. SO STORMS ENDING AND MOVING OUT THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS 49 DEGREES FOR THE LOW TEMPERATURE. BEAUTIFUL START. REALLY REALLY NICE MIDDAY. AND THEN THAT 10% CHANCE OF A SHOWER LATE DAY TOMORROW 72 THE HIGH 70 WEDNESDAY. BUT WATCHING NORTHWEST IOWOWA AD NORTH OF US IN OUR VIEWING AREA IN IOWA FOR SOME THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON THURSDAY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AN AFTERNOON SHOWER. COOL TO THE WEEKEND. BEAUTIFUL WITH POTENTIAL TOP TEN DAYS ON THE WAY FOR MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND. BACK TO YOU ROB. JULIE, WE NEED THAT. THANKS, BILL MINDEN WAS ONE OF THE TOWNS HARDEST HIT IN THE TORNADO OUTBREAK, JUST OVER A WEEK AGO, AND WE ARE HEARING REPORTS OF POSSIBLE DAMAGE IN THAT AREA TONIGHT AFTER ANOTHER LIKELY TORNADO, ERIN HAGGERTY IS LIVE IN POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY. ERIN, WHAT ARE YOU HEARING AND SEEING SO FAR? WELL, WHAT WE DID IS WE WERE JUST AT THE LOVE'S THAT'S AT THE SHELBY EXIT OFF OF I-80, AND I SPOKE TO A MAN THERE WHO SAID HE SAW A TORNADO TO THE WEST. THAT'S WHERE WE ARE NOW. I SAY WE HAD WENT ABOUT MAYBE THREE MILES TO THE WEST, AND SURE ENOUGH, FOUND A POLE HERE THAT THAT'S SPLIT, AND I CAN'T SEE THAT FAR THAT WAY. BUT BUT I THINK THAT POLE IS IS OVER THERE. AND, UH, A SHERIFF'S OFFICER JUST DROVE BY AND SAID THAT A COUPLE OF, UH, PICKUPS OR. EXCUSE ME, UM, SEMIS HAD TIPPED OVER ON THE INTERSTATE. SO IT SOUNDS LIKE WE'RE IN THE PATH OF WHERE A TORNADO WAS HERE. SO IT'S DARK RIGHT NOW. SO, UM, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SEEING IS LIMITED. OKAY. ERIN, THANK YOU SO MUCH. MAY YOU SEE MORE IN THE MORNING, RIGHT, BILL? FOR SURE. WOW. SO IT LOOKS LIKE ALMOST LIKE A TELEPHONE POLE SHEARED OFF. RIGHT. BUT SAME A
