STOP Skipping These Amazing Rides in Disney World

hey everybody it's molly with all ears and i'm here today with a brand new video recently we did a video on what you said were the most overrated rides in walt disney world but then we had a new question what are the most underrated rides at walt disney world what shows attractions and rides don't get enough credit so we've reached out on all ears facebook as well as asked our team to compile a list of what we think are the most underrated rise of walt disney world i'm gonna head to all four parks talk about these attractions see if these are things you should do on your vacation i hope you're ready i hope you're excited let's get to it [Music] starting things off here in the magic kingdom i've got five attractions on my list and i'm a big fan of all five so i'm excited to check them out i'm gonna give you a hint maybe you can guess what they are there's one in adventureland two in fantasyland and two in tomorrowland the first attraction on my list underrated as according to you the enchanted tiki room a lot of you said it's totally underrated and i totally agree i think the enchanted tiki room is such a treat and it's historically really important this is the first time audio animatronics were ever used in a disney attraction over at disneyland uh these little mechanical birds were designed and they were originally gonna be in a restaurant called tropical serenade where the show would happen above you and you would eat below it but then the imagineers and well decided that one no one wants to eat under a bunch of birds that could be a disaster because they'd poop get it it's a joke um but for real they decided it was going to be too much to do a dinner show because they want to be able to pay attention to these audio animatronics that they invented for this attraction and of course audio animatronics have gone on to be a cornerstone of the of disney attractions and they all started right here with these little birdies enchanted tiki room so so cute definitely underrated not a lot of people stop for it i could see how if you've got a really busy day and you're trying to do a bunch of rides maybe you wouldn't want to stop for this 10 plus minute show inside but it's got the music written by the sherman brothers who did mary poppins um and another attraction we're gonna check out in a little bit and i think it's adorable and totally underrated the next magic kingdom attraction mickey's fill her magic if you've never seen it this is a 3d show featuring music from some of your favorite disney movies such as beauty and the beast and the little mermaid and the lion king and aladdin and it is so so cute and i totally agree that this is an underrated hit mickey snowheart magic is in 3d and it's a great place especially on a warm day to sit down for a little bit get about a little 15 minute break in the air conditioning while you enjoy some anime 3d animation of some classic characters and what's really interesting about mickey's feel her magic is that this is actually inspired by walt's original idea for fantasia fantasia was supposed to have smells it was supposed to have sprinklers that dripped on the guests when they saw water and it was supposed to be a lot more immersive and interactive than it actually was which is why it actually flopped in the box office back in the 40s because movie theaters were like no we're not going to spray water and have incense are you a crazy person but here in mickey's philharmagic you do get to smell what you see you do feel water when you go under the sea with ariel and it's really really cute and really fun and again if you are really busy and you're doing ride ride ride ride maybe sure you don't want to sit down and skip it but i find it's a great attraction between some of these big ticket ones just sit down relax and the whole family will enjoy bonus fun fact a couple little hidden mickeys to look for when you go see mickey's fill her magic one when you sit down in the auditorium on the right hand side of the uh curtain on the stage there's all these gold instruments one of the tubas is formed into a mickey and then another one when you're flying over agrabah and the whole new world number one of the buildings is actually shaped like a mickey so look for those next time you read it next on our list i think this one is going to surprise some of you the mini adventures of winnie the pooh and i'm sure a lot of you are like that's a really popular attraction that's not underrated but hear me out our team brought this up compared to all the other iconic attractions in fantasyland winnie the pooh is pretty underrated i mean to be fair it's going up against peter pan's flight it's a small world seven dwarves mine train uh enchanted tails with belle dumbo there's a lot of really iconic and noteworthy attractions in fantasyland and many adventures of winnie the pooh kind of gets forgotten amongst all of those but it's really a darling attraction it's actually one of my favorite attractions in fantasyland i love that it's in a honeypot i love that you get to literally hop along with tigger you get to feel like you're floating and i just think the winnie the pooh characters are so adorable so what do you think is this a controversial pick for underrated attractions or do you agree that the mini adventures of winnie the pooh is an underrated hit it's just so cute and what i love about many adventures of winnie the pooh now a lot of people already know that this is what replaced mr toad's wild ride here in magic kingdom uh wister toad's wild ride still exists over in disneyland and a lot of people are really upset about it i love mr toad's wild ride so i totally get it but disney let us know that mr toad was okay with it because when you go through owl's house owl is shaking hands with mr toad who's giving him the d to the property and in that same room there's a portrait of winnie the pooh with mole two characters from the wind and the willows which is mr toad's story so i think that's cute that disney was kind of like no no it's cool mr toad totally signed off on it the first of our tomorrowland attractions and probably the most second popular answer on the list this baby right here walt disney's carousel of progress now this tomorrowland classic takes you through the 20th century with a family as they go through a calendar year but each time they get a few decades later so it starts in the 1900s and then you end up in the 1920s and then the 40s and then present day but present day is really like 1995. this is such a delightful attraction for the walt disney fans i think it's very charming i adore carousel progress now but i could see how if you are like trying to crack through a bunch of thrill rides if you don't really care about disney history you may want to skip this one but i think it's really cute it's really fun there's a bunch of easter eggs in it like for example the robin when he says the robins are back is actually one from mary poppins so that's very exciting and very fun uh there's also some hidden mickeys to look for this is also the only time that the legendary mel blanc ever recorded anything for disney now mel blanc is known for his many many voices with the characters like the looney tunes who's known as the man of a thousand voices the only disney characters he ever voiced is he uh recorded words for gideon the cat and pinocchio but they ended up making gideon a silent character so all they used of it was a hiccup and then he also plays uncle orville no privacy at all around this place probably the most noteworthy thing about carousel of progress is the song great big beautiful tomorrow which is also written by the sherman brothers who again wrote mary poppins they're at the jungle book they're a tiki room they were it's a small world and they wrote great beautiful tomorrow thinking about walt disney so isn't that nice man has a dream and that's the start he follows his dream with mind and heart and when it becomes a reality it's a dream come true for you and me i don't think i could describe disney world any better than that standing outside what was definitely the most popular answer of all are you ready for it the tomorrowland transit authority people mover was definitely the number one response when we asked the all ears facebook group what's the most underrated attraction walt disney world this is it the people mover is that slow moving attraction that takes you on a highway in the sky all around tomorrowland you get to go through space mountain you get to go through buzz lightyear space ranger spin you get to see a map of walt disney's original idea for epcot unfortunately it's closed right now for refurbishment we don't know a hundred percent when it's gonna reopen but it really is a delight it is so relaxing i think this may be the answer for what is the number one most underrated attraction because you can kick your feet up you can sail around tomorrowland for a few minutes and it's really really great hello we have made it over to epcot we're gonna talk about four attractions here that you said make the underrated list and i gotta say i agree let's go quite possibly actually without a doubt my favorite on the underrated list here at epcot is the seas with nemo and friends it's such a cute attraction it takes you through the aquariums and then you end in the sea base where you can see all kinds of creatures like my friend mr eel dolphins fish sharks rays super super fun usually doesn't have a long line even when the park's really busy it won't be more than maybe 30 minutes and it's just adorable even if you're not a huge finding nemo fan which it's not one of my favorites but i love this attraction because i love the sea base and the cute little activity that you can do in the sea base so even if you're an adult i think you'll have fun in this one especially if you go check out the animals afterwards the next attraction here at epcot living with the land here inside the land pavilion this was one of the most suggested ones when i reached out on facebook for underrated attractions you guys love it and i don't blame you i love it too it is a slow moving boat ride through the greenhouses here at epcot where you learned about gardening in the land and some technology advancements they're making well at least they've been making since this ride opened it feels like that aquaponic pond has been there for a while but the reason i love living with the land it's super relaxing it's super pretty and a lot of this produce that you can see in the greenhouses they actually serve here at walt disney world both in the land pavilion at sunshine seasons and the garden grill up there as well as other places around walt disney world and so i think it's really cool that you can see like oh look there's lettuce and now i'm eating lettuce in the salad how neat is that so for me this is probably not a must must do but a very very nice thing when i'm here definitely one of the most underrated attractions in epcot is right inside here in the mexico pavilion that's right i'm talking about grand fiesta tour with the three caballeros donald jose and panchito now this is a slow-moving boat ride that currently right now epcot usually has a pretty long line to get just into the pyramid especially on the weekends i wouldn't recommend waiting like more than 30 minutes to ride this ride maybe not even that but i would recommend waiting 30 minutes to get in the pyramid riding the ride which usually doesn't have that long of a line and also a margarita from la cava del tequila but for real this is a very cute attraction it's very relaxing and the animatronics are really cool and they're very old that they repurposed for this attraction so definitely very cute a lot of you said it's an underrated classic i gotta agree all that said if they turn that into a coco ride that's been rumored i would not be mad about it next up on my underrated list this one right here the american adventure this may actually be the most underrated one on the whole list at epcot maybe the whole list in general that's a bold claim but it's definitely the most underrated one here at epcot the american adventure is about a 30-minute stage show with incredible animatronics and they tell the tale of america as you probably could have guessed by the title now it is one i definitely don't think younger kids are going to really appreciate but your older kids your teenagers who are learning american history in school your adults your grandparents you're gonna enjoy this one one the animatronics are so so cool like one of them literally walks upstairs and it blows my mind and two it's just a really good show it's got good music and it's 30 minutes in the air conditioning which you cannot beat that either so not a must-do for most people but if you are looking for something to relax at something to sit down at i love the american adventure and i would recommend it over some of the other sit-down things like the films and such here in epcot so what do you think here these are great attractions here at holiday studios that not a lot of people take advantage of which i totally think you should because there's so many big heavy-hitter rides you need some stuff to fill in in between those exciting attractions so let's go to it muppet vision 3d i love it you love it who doesn't love the muppets i don't trust anyone that doesn't love the muppets because they are delightful so momma vision 3d if you've never been it's a short 3d movie featuring kermit and it's piggy and gonzo and sam eagle and all of your favorites it is hysterical i laugh every single time the pre-show is hilarious too it's a great way to beat the heat it's a great way to relax now i will say right now because of the limited capacity it does get a little bit of a longer line because they can only load a very small amount of the theater so keep that in mind it may be a little bit longer weight than you're used to but it is such a great show and honestly if they ever say they're tearing this down i will chain myself to the door it's so funny the most important one on the list is right here walt disney presents now a lot of people don't go in there especially not now that there's not characters in there walt disney presents is an exhibit all about the man who started all of this walt disney of course and it has some really cool models and props and some fun facts you can learn they also have a video in there a short video about walt called one man's dream it's narrated by julie andrews it's fabulous and i adore it in there so let's go take a look hey walt how are you buddy thanks for uh working on all this really made a lot of people happy it starts with all these awesome photos of walt disney here's an interesting fact they photoshopped out the cigarettes or cropped the cigarettes out of walt's fingers in a lot of these pictures uh walt was a an avid smoker as were many back in the day but he did unfortunately die of lung cancer so i think that's probably why they did that [Music] so it starts this exhibit used to be a lot bigger i kind of wish it still was i love disney history and i'm a huge nerd but okay let's see what we got walt disney carving wd into a school desk i wonder if this is the real one i think this one's a replica but that's pretty cool look there he is doing it back there a model of disneyland's main street usa designed after walt's childhood town of marceline missouri walt saw main street usa as anywhere in the usa around the turn of the century what a lot of people don't realize too is that walt disney was actually the original voice of mickey mouse [Music] and oswald the lucky rabbit was well it's original cartoon success um but through a contract loophole universal pictures actually stole oswald um because as you can see universal was presenting oswald and they ended up getting the rights to the character so on the train ride back from new york where he had this disastrous meeting where he learned about oswald being taken back to hollywood where he was very scared to tell his brother and his team that he lost oswald that's when he thought of mickey mouse and he drew him on the train it's our same moonlight scene the way the multiplane camera sees also in here you've got some little statues oh wow this is an actual sketch from flowers and trees because it says it's from the archives collection that's pretty amazing wow that's and make it behave like a real piece of scenery under the camera this is my favorite thing in here they show you how to do different elements in the scene were separated according to the varying distances from the viewer with our original picture broken down in this manner it is possible to control the relative speed with which each individual part of it moves to or away from the camera they invented this camera which is what made them it's our same realistic animation sets it's amazing the technology that the disney company created is absolutely incredible as you continue through the exhibit you learn a little bit more about trains which walt disney love trains that's why there's a train in every magic kingdom style park around the world we go into learning about disneyland and how that was developed mickey mouse clubhouse look at this look at the stuff this is amazing [Music] if you are a disney history person if you are a disney imagineering person if you watched the imagineering story on disney plus and we're like oh my gosh this is the best thing i've ever seen you need to come in here because there is some really cool stuff this is part of the tower of the four winds from the 1964 65 new york world fair where a small world debuted as long as a bunch of other ones you've got models of galaxy's edge and what i love down here is they have different costumes that rotate out that were actually used in movies so this is actually a captain jack over there is stuff from the descendants and right here are costumes from the new release of mulan now here's the theater where you can see that one man's dream show i was talking about or sometimes when they have previews they'll do extended previews of movies marvel disney etc before they come out so you may get to get a little sneak peek i watched a sneak peek onward in here of mulan marvel movies i actually think this is the coolest thing in here this is an audio animatronic obviously of president lincoln that was used at the 6465 world's fair for great moments with mr lincoln which was the predecessor to the hall of presidents abraham lincoln was walt disney's favorite president but look at this is the control panel for him and here's the audio animatronic and this was the first human audio animatronic that they made before that they made birds for the tiki room but isn't this amazing it's it's amazing you don't have to stay for the video if you don't want to if you don't want to spend that long but it is a nice break it's a nice place to sit it's quiet it's a great little video and i think you should stay for it but if they're doing a movie preview you don't care about or something you can always just go through the exhibit and i think it's amazing i mean the lincoln animatronic some of those models drawings from flowering trees amazing and definitely worth a visit my first attraction here at disney's hollywood studios that makes it on the most underrated list the fir for the first time in forever a frozen sing-along tm i actually adore this show and i've never seen it till i was making a video about all the different entertainment at hollywood studios remember entertainment anyway so this is one of the only shows that's happening right now it is a modified version but it is so so fun two arendelle historians are telling the story of frozen there's appearances by anna and elsa and kristoff and it is hilarious like i don't mean just like haha your kids are gonna laugh like adults you're gonna laugh because there's adult humor thrown in the historians ad-lib a bunch of stuff so it's different every time you go plus you get to sing along and i say it every time but like i don't care who you are you like the song let it go i just know you do so this is a great one especially if you've got little ones that like frozen if you want a little break from the heat if you want to sit down for a little bit catch a show between all the long lines here at hollywood studios for the first time forever of frozen sing-along tm i adore it and not a lot of people know to come check it out guess what i've made it to disney's animal kingdom time to check out a few underrated attractions here these are probably my favorite on the list because these are ones that i do a lot these are some of my favorite things most underrated things in all of disney world so i'm excited to share them with you in this video spoiler alert animal during coming another great underrated attraction rather an underrated land rafiki's planet watch this three-part experience actually probably more than three parts when you start counting them is super fun and you can catch the train experience one right here in africa the train actually takes you backstage up to rafiki's planet watch where you can see when you're on the train maybe you'll see some elephants maybe go see an ostrich maybe you'll see a baby rhino i've seen all of those things just on the train alone plus kids love trains then once you get up there there's a couple different things you can do there's a bunch of wildlife habitats that you can look at there's a bunch of the wilderness explorer stations there's the affection section where you can go pet goats and sheep and it's awesome there's also inside um the vet area so you might actually see an animal getting a procedure done they've also got a couple other animal exhibits up there some smaller animals like reptiles and amphibians you can learn about what the animals eat and my favorite part of all the animation experience here a disney character artist is going to teach you how to draw a disney animal character in about 25-30 minutes super super fun i've drawn scar i've drawn simba i've drawn timon i've drawn sheer khan super great older kids and adults i think this is really really fun and not a lot of people go up to rafiki's play to watch so i say check it out now it's maybe not a must do for me as much as the animal trails because those are pretty quick those are convenient it is like a little bit more of a commitment because you do have to wait for the train to get on up there but if you've got the time i really really enjoy rafiki's plan to watch especially petting goats and drawing characters this just might be my favorite thing on this whole video and it's the animal trails here at disney's animal kingdom a lot of people come here and don't realize there's walking trails that you can do around the park and take a look at some animals you're not going to see otherwise here in africa you've got the gorilla falls exploration trail where you can see hippos underwater get a closer look at the okapi there's lots of birds gorillas baby gorilla big gorilla they're really really cute there's also meerkats and zebras and i love walking these trails you never know what you're gonna see they're really relaxing and they're a great thing to do in between other attractions kids can stretch their legs a little bit and they're just really nice and lovely and you're at animal kingdom so i always say go look at some animals another great underrated place to venture in the animal kingdom another trail is the tree of life garden this actually weeds you around the tree of life you can get some amazing views of the trees it's normally very quiet back there and there's some more animals there's kangaroos there's vultures um there's some different fish and stuff so i like this trail more for the views than actual animals but it's another good one the other large animal trail here in disney's animal kingdom is the maharaja jungle track here in asia it's kind of near the cali river rapids entrance this is where you can find things like that komodo dragons monkeys and tigers hi there the third attraction on my underrated attractions here in animal kingdom this baby right here dinosaur it's the original thrill ride of this park before there was everest before there was flight of passage there was dinosaur and i'd argue it's still the scariest it's still the most like actually thrilling it's loud it's dark there's giant dinosaurs i love it it's an incredible attraction and i feel like it doesn't get the love it deserves because everybody likes flight of passage and everest which those are great don't get me wrong but this one's
