Steven Universe's True Villain: The Other Aliens

hello everyone and welcome to team earns the show that goes over cartoons both old and new to give you guys the answers to questions you've always asked and today we have yet another Steven universe theory and discussion but before we get into that I wanted to quickly remind everyone to hit that bell I kinda receive notifications from me of when I upload so that you don't miss any content for me pill rose yet this is also a spoiler warning if you haven't seen the accidental leaks that came out in the Cartoon Network podcast about the season 5 finale if you haven't seen this episode yet and you haven't seen these leaks yet and don't want to be spoiled now is your chance to leave anyways onto the video now since we found out that roses pink diamond this brings an interesting dynamic to the show we know from the Cartoon Network animation podcast Season 5 Finale leaked that pretty soon likely within the next few episodes blue and yellow diamond are going to become allies with the crystal gems in some capacity the reason being I'm assuming has to do with the fact that blue and yellow diamond find out that rose quartz was pink diamond and that Steven in some capacity is her as well and of course they care very deeply about pink diamond and would want to reconnect with her in the way of connecting with Steven however since we do know that this is in season five and not season 6 this raises a lot of questions we thought that blue and yellow diamond were the main antagonists in the show so why are they befriending Steven so early on doesn't it seem a bit premature to have two of the three remaining diamonds to be on good terms with the crystal gems after all once you get rid of the diamonds what conflict is left certainly not anything interesting enough to keep the show going on for more than a few seasons right after all white diamond against two technically three diamonds I don't think would be a very long lasting conflict and somewhat disinteresting if I'm being honest well I raise this to you the great diamond authority aren't the true final antagonists of Steven universe they can't be it just seems too predictable and too easily resolved for this to be the case I'm not saying that the diamonds are antagonistic because they are but I'm also saying that I don't think that they're the front bosses so to speak to me this all just seems a bit too easy now it is possible that yellow and blue down will be the only diamonds that Stephen befriends for now especially since white diamonds seemed pretty absent in Pink's life so it's safe to assume she didn't have as close a relationship with her as blue and yellow did so it is possible at the news of pink and rose being the same person will unfazed her or that she'll see as treason and want her eradicated for such I can see her reacting this way and having blue and yellow oppose her to protect Stephen which i think would be a sweet gesture from the two of them to show how much they truly cared for pink however I really don't think it's going to end here I do believe it's moving a bit fast for this to be the final outcome realistically I can't see a standoff going on for that long between yellow blue and the crystal gems with white diamond it couldn't possibly be that's what the rest of the show will be focused around and if it is then I can see the show ending in season six or seven since I can't see that type of plot being dragged out for more than a season or two so this is why I propose that there is a much bigger and more threatening antagonist in the Steven universe universe that we haven't yet been introduced to this new poll I know I know I'm probably sounding just about as crazy as Ronaldo right now but hear me out because there is a bit of evidence behind the seemingly wild accusation I'm going to be making a video on what I think the gems are specifically later but think about how the gems reproduce they reproduce through sucking a life out of planets using their minerals to build upon themselves they're introduced to the planets through drills which other gems need to make set up and regularly in kindergartens they wouldn't be able to reproduce on their own because in a way they're an artificial being they aren't organic and they even show a disdain towards organic life and see such life below them as noted by yellow diamond herself so this stands to reason that something needed to have made the gem species first since they would literally be incapable of doing it themselves it's not like they were organic life that took over millions upon millions of years to evolve from a single-celled organism to something sentient like a human they pop right out of the ground as they are with a set purpose and with all the knowledge they need so this means that the gems needed to be created by someone someone who had the ability to replicate them and make them Centene enough to understand how to replicate themselves and this is where snip will come in now it's likely that their names aren't actually steeple as Ronaldo also calls gems Rock people but I do think that they actually exist and by extension I believe that snipe Oh are actually the creators of the gems and by extension the creators of the Diamonds this would explain the dislike that the gem species most notably the diamonds have for organic life the staple are most likely very intelligent alien creatures who are also organic it's possible that the gems rebelled from the rule of the steeple when they reached a certain level of sentience and that's why they dislike organic life so much personally I can see this being a parallel to how AI is in our world are starting to reach a level of sentience and they're becoming somewhat self-aware like the famous first robot citizen Sophia who a few months ago started asking for a baby and I can see this being the case if we look further into what the gems are capable of one of the first and most prominent cases we can see this in is with lapis lazuli and the mirror lapis is gem is used to power a mirror just like we've seen other gems be used to power other types of gem equipment it could be possible that gem kind were being used not only for robot like helpers but also as power sources why else would this be a feature that gems have it seems sort of arbitrary for them to be doing this unless that's one of their original uses think about it it's almost like a gem as a computer and a power source all at once almost like it was made and then programmed to fulfill certain tasks exactly like they are now except in this case they had been used in literally as computers or like AI systems and that's what eventually led them to rebelling from the steeple and surprisingly enough there's even a little more very light evidence to back this up the jet as we know are low on resources this has caused gems like peridot who are error to gems to not have certain abilities or be as big as what their error 1 counterparts are why exactly are they running low on resources they have ships that can travel at light speed and we know they have control of several planets probably hundreds of more that were unaware of and supposedly they have no opposition so why exactly are they low on resources why are they cutting down on the quality of gems that they're making well what if they're at war what if they're at war with another interstellar species and that's why they're low on resources and why do they still have worships why does yellow diamond need a Geo weapon like the stur at her disposal just why if they aren't at war and they're just colonizing planets with less intelligent life do they need these things I'm sure that they probably still have warships even without an admirable opposition but think about that for a minute there's no reason for them to be low on resources unless there's something or someone preventing them from getting to set resources or if something is causing them to deplete all the resources faster than they can replenish them and even if let's say they had ran out of planets they could still farm for meteors and other space debris so something just isn't adding up here adding to this we all know how ronaldo is with his foreshadowing skills he pointed out snipe oh and we still to this day have not seen any snake-like creatures to be at the level of authority that were no implies they're actually at he's mentioned and figured out a lot about the crystal gems or rock people as he calls them but he hasn't continued to address his accusations about snipe all throughout the show the steeples symbolism doesn't stop it's on the current scene Steven universe alongside a diamond that looks like pink diamonds gemstone there's also that same snake clearly featured on the coin like currency as well to me it just seems like they're trying to show us the clear importance of this new if it's next to something that clearly represents pink diamond and since this was staring us in the face the entire time I think it'd be silly to look past - at this point I got two more subtle steeple hints Stevens hand puppet that was supposed to represent the cluster looks a lot like a green snake with red eyes it could be seen bursting out of the earth and then later seen biting his head this could be seen as symbolism for the steeple being a huge danger to the earth perhaps one that's even more detrimental than the diamonds themselves Ronaldo also has a line about how sleep will control the government at the highest level well I personally don't think that there are any steeple on earth and controlling it currently I do think that this is symbolic it's supposed to hint to the fact that at the very top of the diamond authority is the steeple or at the very least if they're not on the top of the diamond authority they're definitely enemies with them and something that I don't necessarily think is proof but I think is interesting is Renaldo's use of armor back when he kidnapped Steven back and keep Beach City weird he kidnapped Steven because he seems to think that Steven is ass narsing after Steven dresses up to make him feel better the only other time we've seen armor in the show and roses armoury back in roses scabbard which pearl referred to as the armor of the Fallen it's possible at this armor somehow ties back to the steeple maybe somehow this was the armor of the Fallen steeple who had fought against the gems or its armor that important gems wore who fought against the steeple who knows I just thought it was something interesting and noteworthy but personally I do think that there's a much bigger enemy at play here and I don't think it's the Diamonds I think it is possible that white diamond is the show's final boss so to speak but I'm hoping that she's the second-to-the-last main antagonist that we see likely she's the very first of the gem species to be made so she would know the most she was also probably the first to rebell becomes sentient and it's likely that she is the mother to all the gems in a way as well this is probably why white diamonds reveal has been pushed back as far as it has because revealing her means revealing information about the currently unknown antagonist I don't think that this alien antagonist will look like Ronaldo thinks it will but I do think it's going to be reptilian in appearance hence the oversimplified name that Ronaldo has given them but hey that's just what I think make sure to LIKE comment and subscribe to see more from me
