here but so great to see you congratulations how you been i've been great man i've been great um judge steve harvey that's so you know i was thinking to myself because when you wrote um think like a man yeah but act like a woman i was like because you're essentially kind of acting like a judge and kind of deciphering different uh relationships and and uh situations and what have you now you're doing it but like in this in this uh different type of platform it seemed like an easy transition right i mean you know for me it was like really cool because it kind of embodies all of the gifts that god has given me over the years i've been blessed you know i wanted a show that was funny i wanted to show that allowed me to use my wit quick quit and uh people ask me all the time so what made you think you could be a judge you know donald trump was president [Laughter] i'll tell you why you're practical you keep it real and you're practical we're gonna talk more about your new show but first on family feud you had a surprise guest we need to get to the bottom of this roll this clip take them down rock parts off [Applause] my god just cruising around with the water bottle right he's he's my stylist and the makeup artist is pregnant so she gave him the water and says i have to go to the bathroom if he needs water give it to him so he just walks up we're taping the show we're live and he walks out with the one now that lady you're looking at right now i've never heard her talk in the 12 years we've done this she took her mask down when he walked over there and said what the blank are you doing i didn't even know the woman talked we said she said wtf are you doing and that's when i knew and he was standing and he had no idea what he walked with such purpose here he's on set today bravo oh he's got the water he's got the water he stays hydrated but family feud what are you loving about this show how many years has it been now well it's 12. wow we're going on the season 13 you know and it's everyday people you know i managed to take i took a a survey show and just turn it into a comedy show about people because somebody did on youtube somebody did a study and they broke it down the question and answers on a 30-minute show is actually 90 seconds the rest of it is me and the banter with the family yeah and i just turned it into a comedy show man it's really cool way to meet people and have a big laugh you know that's a lot of good it's so funny right steve yeah exactly and uh steven um as far as the beauty pageants those are always a lot of fun and then i know recently you were was it dubai were you guys out this year where were we no we were in uh israel israel okay yeah israel did something happen this year that yeah yeah they tried to get me again oh no again and we got to to the final two and in the teleprompter just like they did in 2015 and i read it the the finalists was they they put portugal portugal was never mentioned all show long oh no i forgot where the finalists was from it was india paraguay and paraguay they put portugal and i said and the two finalists uh india and portugal wait a minute oh hell no and i saw and i pointed it out and everybody thought i was playing but they had really put portugal in the teleprompter and i caught it because like you know you got to understand like now ever since 2015 when i get to the moment of naming the winner it's a butt clincher for me than it never was before the center part of my butt that looked that area that this sphincter that that whole thing it locks it just locks up because i know at any given moment i could say the wrong thing again see what i do now is when i see the mistake see though 2015 i covered for people i covered for the teleprompter i covered for the lady that decided to put three names on the car i just went out there and took the kids oh no no i'm rolling everybody under the bus here we go i don't care i'm rolling old ladies yeah everybody gets under this bus that was one of the stupidest things i've ever done but that ended up becoming iconic and a lot of fun though yeah it was a bit cool having lori there too though yeah you know it was like really cool and it wasn't my doing i didn't i didn't get lori the gig she got it on her own because you know now they do all women she could have been participating she could have won that time it's hard when you have daughters that look like that you know oh yeah hardcore what is it like steve like you have to be so protective what's the best advice you give her well i try to constantly remind her that she's the prize no guy is the prize it's a million of them mm-hmm it's one of you don't ever think that the guy is the prize because he ain't because you you're a woman and you can do something that none of them can do and once you have the ability to produce another life and put you in a special category all to your own and don't you let nobody take you out of that category right i don't care who they are i don't let that happen man and so and then i'm a protector like you know if you date my daughter you might get in behind my back you know a couple of them snuck in but i'm gonna get rid of you though right yeah i'm gonna find a way yeah cause i'm i'm cuz cause i'm still that dude you know yeah i'm you may think i'm a tv show host and all that but i'm still that dude and i will find a way to get rid of you respect i'm gonna have that same energy with my daughter yeah how are your daughters now she's she's 11 right now oh you are at that age where you almost see the key mario is to hate every boy that's the key hate them all so word get back up to the school got it if you if you go over to mr lopez house gonna be a problem okay cause he crazed i like that see you got to lay your hands on one of them boys it's going to cost you a little bit of money legal fees but they know they know and they know what's going on yeah well sit tight right there see we don't know about your new judge show judge steve harvey and we're gonna have you rule on some hot topics and mario we gotta talk about the fact oh yeah this is way down to it much more welcome back to action daily with our friend steve harvey had to document that guy you know what he was in court for or what he was he was suing his wife that he sleeps with how do you sue a person you sleep with yeah how do you think even if you win the verdict right do you understand what you've done to the rest of your life that makes zero sense you're the stupidest person i've ever had to take a picture with it this is the dumbest thing i've ever i'm taking my wife to court right and then i'm gonna go back and request that we sleep together again okay let's see how this works good look at that what makes this court show different than all the others it's funny yeah it's funny uh it's it's real cases though you know people sign an affidavit where whatever i rule is is the verdict uh but i use a couple of things man i use humor and i get to the bottom of the story it's not so much the verdict for me but why are we here why are we even in court what happened like if you look other judge shows that goes that has nothing to do with the case will it do to me yeah let's hear this let's hear let's hear what you were really thinking about what you think yeah the backstory is really what makes this judge case like no other and then i have a real knack for spotting people who lie because you know i've i've lied like thousands of times so i can spot a liar just like that yeah good bs detector yeah and you know i got these cameras i have these huge screens on each side of my that's nothing no other court and i do replays when i bust you lying i go out there and i show you yourself and i show you the look cause you can see people's eye twitch movement you know a little stuff that people do and i run it back to the part where they lied and you could see it go to the tape oh slow it down for the replay i notice you don't rock a judge robe i think it would be a really an insult to real judges come on man y'all y'all don't know good to hear well i ain't no judge let's stop this foolishness right now you know i love the no road by the way when you ran out from behind there you were looking fit fitter than ever what are we doing how are we feeling about the birthday coming up because i feel like you're in the best shape of your life i was sitting up talking to kevin hart one time he said you know damn you getting old well i said well how old is it go but it's right your little ass keep driving off these cliffs [Laughter] that's right you just don't want to go gently into it i just want to do it as gracefully as i can i want to try to stay in shape i try to eat 80 20. you know mario you in shape man you you wanted them dudes that like piss you off cause like you be looking at him and you go is he the same dude i saw 20 years ago cause he's the exact guy i remember one time i was on the lot and you had your drawers on and you were running across the lot in your drawers and i went at what point could i take my damn shirt off and just bust out running in my drawers i lost a bet that's what it was i lost a bet that's funny that you remember that oh my goodness i was on this lot that day and mario came running by in his draws and i went i don't give a damn what bet i lost [Applause] actually i didn't take my shirt off that was just a wednesday night he was just running in his drawers and i went damn who can do that well i think both of you i like staying fit at every age i think y'all are looking fly but no you you you need to stop you do not need to you need to stop you haven't gained an ounce in 30 years she barely she ain't even breaking triple digits over here yeah i ate a pretzel the size of you two weeks ago [Applause] keeping it set see to stay in the judge realm here for a second we wanted to get your rulings on some pop culture stories so we post saying she's she's starting to wild out a little bit should she button up put some clothes on because oh we're not showing the pictures because they don't they don't i don't think they're pg-13 oh it's on her instagram yeah yes oh i've got to see this oh let me wait on look at my girl look she's doing stuff like that like that oh yeah yeah yeah yeah y'all need to leave brittany alone and about the two relationships yeah and does that age matter oh yeah you're not really you think you're in heavy what yeah yes seriously completely she's in staten island all the time this got back from the bahamas he was wearing matches i say they're trolling people and it's like a pr thing what you think steve i can say this because i'm not a handsome guy either but us people who are borderline
