when it comes entertaining our party planning and generally being an amazing mom no one does it better than my daughter Morgan and she's here with an extra special surprise Morgan bought someone who's making her national television debut is my granddaughter for the first time on TV please welcome Morgan and Elle [Music] hi hey Pavo oh how you doing she already knows that's our seat yeah we got a/c hey that's right crawl just turn around in front oh well there we go yeah what you could these new shoes you got yeah we just see what she is today we're having a dance party in the back right you were dancing so what's up dollar how you feeling I'm good I have been a new haircut yep new lady right yeah yeah he's been busy lately huh yes you know she just turned two a week ago all right the big birthday party we had a big birthday party for her you go all out when you throw these parties how'd you pull this one off so I'm a big di wire and I really get the whole family involved everybody friends family I had my girlfriend come over the night before with a bottle of wine some jams we played music all night I put her to work in the kitchen then I had my cousin's come in town you know my two little cousins they came and did all the arts and crafts projects so all the little cute decorations I had them cutting and doing fun stuff I used my grandma's recipe you know grand strawberry cake so I had that for every birthday whoa least we have two today I'll make yo national television debut [Laughter] [Applause] okay so recently listen to me I heard from a mom down in Atlanta and who was absolutely overwhelmed she said she couldn't pull off a joint party for her two kids whose birthdays fall in the same week but one of them's for and one I was fine she had no idea what to do so Morgan came to the rescue with some simple party cheats it's very very overwhelming throwing a birthday party I have no clue where to start and it's stressing me out that's why I need Morgan to help me so tell me what you're thinking about for the kids parties honestly I can definitely relate to what mecca's going through I just did my own birthday party for my two-year-old and it's a lot to manage okay so tell me what the kids parties normally look like my mother-in-law brings over pants with macaroni cheese and collard greens and yams once my family eats this food they get the itis they're laying on my floor they laid on my couch somewhat in my bedroom watching and if I want my husband okay no you are having a grown people's party this is I'm not for the kids it doesn't sound like I think if she kind of reels it back in and focuses on the children she'll have a much better outcome for the day [Music] do you know what's happening tomorrow what kind of party do you what ahead what party do you wanna have you guys like party food right yeah yes games a lovely game I love playing games too so after talking to these kids I learned they do not want so food dinner and they do not want to sit around watching TV so now that I know what they do like Mecca and I can get started planning a party they're really gonna love are you guys excited the party cheats that I'm gonna give her are gonna make this a stress-free day that she can enjoy right along with her daughter and son okay so my first tip for you is to prepare the night before if you do that and you're just putting final touches on right before your guests arrive so what about like the traditional cakes because I don't bake like you don't tell I want to okay I'm gonna show her how we can take box cake mixes put a little love on it and nobody will ever know that this wasn't it completely from scratch dessert what about the decorations that seems so really good I keep it simple you know I get balloons some streamers and that's it pick a theme and make it really really simple and keep it simple if this party is gonna be tomorrow I think we need to go do some shopping yes all right Mecca we've got everything we needed from the store and all the recipes we're making are in my party heart ebook that you can get off of my blog okay perfect some of my favorite tips are time-saving tips it's almost like a some more you know when you thinking about yeah usually I would have been doing all this like the morning of the party this is so easy Morgan is showing me all these great tips and it's life-changing like for real crunchy good and quick all these things we made today took under a couple of hours I don't think Mecca stressed out at all I think she's still got some energy and is ready to go so we might even make a few more things girl we are doing it today I'm so excited I can't wait I'm so thankful for oh they make my life so much easier oh that girl's joining us now Mehcad look like Morgan calmed you down a little bit she definitely calmed me down because I was having anxiety calm calm I always feel anxious because their birthdays are four days apart so I don't know I don't want to cheat them I want my baby boy to have his party I don't want baby girl to have a party I don't wanna cheat them yeah hey come on come on come on watch yourself yeah just come on cuz you don't know we on TV see you feeling messed up pawpaws money yeah well I tell you what up next Morgan Elle and Mecca were able to combine forces don't don't get on that table [Music] we need to go to Kuwait but does she hang a whole foot up that up but like nothing to do the doggone thing y'all was worried about me not having energy when I came on TV often to climb on top of this oh yeah that's
