Stealing A Divine Weapon: How To Obtain The Blood Of Lathander In Baldur's Gate 3

hi guys Corey here and today I'm going to be showing you how to get the blood of lathander now this mace is basically a must-have early in the game because it is really op um and you can get it back in act once which is kind of crazy but yeah with that being said let's get started okay so first things first in order to get this mace we are going to have to have made it to the rosamorn monastery and there's a couple puzzles that we're gonna have to solve in order to unlock this okay so the first thing we need to do is we need to make our way through the rosamorn monastery all the way up to this area here now this is going to be the Don Masters Chambers here and that's where the first puzzle is so what we are going to have to do is find some ceremonial weapons and place them on these pedestals in this exact order that I have them here now luckily these weapons are very easy to find they're really just rotted out of this area so I'm going to show you where to get those real fast okay so the first ceremonial weapon is going to be the mace now you may have already found this um depending on which way you decided to go into the monastery but when you come in through the what I would assume the regular way um you're going to find this room right here and there's going to be a whole bunch of kobolds now once you kill all of them be sure to loot their bodies and one of them is going to have the mace on it okay now the next weapon is going to be the Warhammer and how we're going to get that so we're going to come right up here which is very it's very close to where the Cobalts are so we're just going to keep following that path all the way up and then we're going to climb these knotted Roots right here now once we get up here what we're going to do is we're going to come over here and climb some more roots and then up here at the very top as you can see I've already killed them but they're gonna find some giant eagles now I tried um whenever I did this I tried to sneak sneak through by using animal speaking and just kind of pickpocket the Warhammer but it is going to be in the nest right here and even if you aren't in the line of sight and you take something from the nest it's automatically gonna initiate combat so just keep that in mind whenever you go to do this you are gonna have to fight them and it's better to take them out sooner rather than later because if you take too long they will call reinforcements and then you'll end up fighting like eight of these bad boys so it's not something you want to be doing okay and then finally the last thing we need to get is the great ax so the ax is going to be right down here from these roots you're going to notice that there is an enchanted door right here now there is a much easier way to get in other than try and do break through that so we're gonna do is we're gonna come through this door right here and back here this wall is going to be breakable so once you break it you're going to come in here and you're going to see that there will be a um there will be a guardian of Faith sitting right here on top of these bones now he may seem intimidating but every time he damages you he's going to take 10 10 points of damage so he's not that big of a deal but right here on the ground is where the great ax is going to be okay and now that you have all three weapons what you're going to do is you're going to put the Warhammer right there on that one you're gonna put the mace on that one and then you're gonna put the uh oh battle like it's not direct sorry the battle X on that one and then what that will do is that will open up this little door right here revealing a pouch and inside of that pouch you will find the Don mattress Crest now that is going to be the key part to the next puzzle okay now once you continue on through the monastery and get to the brush I'm not going to give any spoilers as far as the actual story but you'll come across the part where you're in an inquisitor's chamber now all the way back here you can see that I'm to the very far left here now these two statues here what we are going to do is we have to turn them in a very specific way okay so what we're going to do here is the one on the left we want it to be facing north so we're going to turn it to and then three and then the one on the right we're gonna have it facing south and then once we do that it's going to open up this door back here to the secret secret layer now at this point you cannot go in there and so you have finished the part this part in the story if you have laser with you now if you don't have if you never recruited lizelle or she died or something along the road you can go in here but if you try to go in here without doing this story the story part here first she will become hostile and leave your party so just keep that in mind so once you go through the little secret path it will take you here to the secret layer now there's going to be barriers here that you're going to have to destroy in order to make it make it through so you can see these little crystals right here these are what you have to destroy so you can use range for this first one and then once you destroy that you'll be able to go through now these here you're going to want to ungroup and disarm these because if you're if you don't disarm this it's going to just push your entire team off and off into the chasm over there so the second Crystal that you need to hit is going to be right back here so how I was able to hit this one is I just use Gale and I used his uh magic Missile and I just did two of that and that that took that out and then the third one is going to be right right down there and once you've destroyed all three of these and disarmed all of the all the traps what we're going to do is we're going to follow this all the way up and then right up here is going to be the blood of lithander so this is where that Crest is going to come in handy so you'll place that Crest right there and then once you do so then you're free to take the blood of a thunder now you are able to completely bypass getting the crest if you really want to but if I just try to take this right now activates a very intense trap that you have to figure out how to get out of so how we're going to do that is we're going to destroy these crystals over here okay now after destroying these three Within the four turns it deactivates and voila it deactivates and now you have the blood of lithander just like that now that doing it that way you do also get some um disapprovements from your team and so it's really easier just to just to go get the um the crust and put in here and just take it the right way and then once you have it you can give it to your cleric
