[Music] so i am opening my very own online shop in a few days i've been pretty much working on this shop all summer i think i've always wanted to start an online shop but i've had a lot of doubts in my mind but at the same time this is kind of a big dream an online shop where i can sell my handmade goods isn't this cute this is my newest sticker sheet i think this is the last item that i'm making and then my shop will be ready to go very excited about this still got some work to do though [Music] setting things up is easily the least fun part of getting new technology [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] uh hmm the sticker paper i had originally ordered i'm really not satisfied with the quality of it i feel like it feels very cheap and there's a lot of stuff that falls off of it this one is it feels way nicer but it's super thin and flimsy so i know my cricket's gonna cut straight through it i feel like the only way of knowing for sure what's the good sticker paper is to actually have it in my hands so i think i'm going to return this as well and order some more samples [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] thank you so much [Music] [Music] [Music] oh i was cutting elastic so i can make the loops for the scrunchies and they're about this long so tell me how this suddenly became i really don't have any explanation for it oh adorable [Music] okay you know what that will be fine [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] must get in here [Music] so [Music] it looks a little goofy today but my bangs are just not having it so i'm in worker mode [Music] [Music] i really wanted to make some alphabet litter stickers and i'm having i'm running into a few issues with them the cricket she's struggling i guess it's because they're such tiny little details to cut out like the centers of these letters they're kind of flaking off some of them but we really run into issues with the w's and the v's uh like the whole sheet will be fine and then it gets to one or two v's or w's and the little divot part the part that goes in gets chewed up basically by the cricut and it's such a waste not to use this entire sticker sheet when the rest of the stickers are completely fine but maybe i'll just have to label these as b grade stickers when i do put them on the shop some of them some of them are fine i think but usually because i print two sticker sheets on one paper it's usually the second one that gets messed up and the first one is pretty good so yeah maybe i'll have to do b and a grade [Music] [Music] do [Music] hmm [Music] foreign [Music] uh [Music] i'm designing these little freebie stickers right now and i'm going to print them on some of that vinyl paper that i ordered in my early days of sampling because i don't want that to all go to waste so it is gonna be a lower quality sticker paper but that's why they're free i just don't want to have to have it sitting around not being put to use and i definitely don't want to get rid of it because that's so wasteful i think this bear might be my mascot because if you watched my really old vlogs when i lived back at my mom's house this is my childhood bear stuffed animal with the little heart patch that i sewed by hand onto her cheek the digital cheek is the signature of my bear i actually haven't vlogged in a while on my shop i mean i feel like this whole hi my face is here it's morning i'm rough i don't care but i haven't really filmed a lot i've been gathering footage for so long by now that i have no idea what this vlog this video is gonna look like but yesterday i was working on die cut stickers so as i was saying this bear might become a mascot because i really like drawing her so i've bought a bunch of bare die cut stickers now back when i was little i would call her mama bear because she was bigger than me at the time and now that i look at the size of the actual bear i'm like wow tiny tiny monika and then as i grew bigger than the bear she became baby bear a little benjamin button i guess i feel like i can't call my beer that in my shop i want to try taking some product photo today if i get through the rest of my sticker designs and printing product photos setting up a website figuring out the shipping situation opening a p.o box and then social media and branding so many things to think about oh packaging get to work girl [Music] hi i've decided today is one week before i officially launched my shop am i truly ready i don't think i ever be fully ready at this point i think a lot of it's gonna come down to actually opening it up and learning as i go and as i encounter different parts or problems this week i am going to get a po box open it up and figure out my shipping system i got some of my shipping supplies in the mail y'all shipping is that expensive not even like shipping it out itself but even just like the packing supplies i died a few times while i was ordering all my shipping supplies i'm also trying to make a big effort to be eco-friendly and get sustainable recyclable material for packing because i know packaging and shipping and stuff a lot of that is very wasteful i know i'm not the best with recycling and being eco-conscious and stuff but i'm trying to get better about that so i got a bunch of glassine bags and i'm weighing on my actual mailers which are also 100 recyclable oh and i got i also got these little little bags which i'm very excited about because they're so tiny and cute i decided to add my beloved rings to my shop i feel like i'm putting so much on this shop and i kind of try not to think about the fact that i could possibly get no orders from this actually that's incorrect my mom has promised me she's gonna order something from my shop when i open it so at least i'll get one order but i've been making my beaded rings i always get a lot of questions asking about where i got them or how i make them so now you'll be able to get to your very own handmade beaded ring can you tell i'm getting excited i feel like it's all coming together finally look at me go what foreign [Music] [Music] she knows [Music] [Music] do [Music] uh [Music] [Applause] [Music] wow come right back photos on my website nearly there everything's coming together like look at these i'm really satisfied with how these all turned out they look kind of professional still figuring out the shipping i have a few more kinks to work out i've been kind of procrastinating it because it's so much research honestly considering that i don't know anything so i'm starting with like zero info i'm gonna force myself to get that done tomorrow and i'm gonna start editing this vlog which is i don't even wanna think about how long i've been recording for it's been like months since i started this project then it will be ready to go i'm still laying on some of my packaging and stuff to arrive um i think i'm just waiting for my recycled mailers to get here and then that's it i'm gonna do some test test purchases if i can because that would be bad if it launched and i couldn't purchase things and also these these glasses [Music] do [Music] do [Music] good morning y'all i think it's happening it's gonna happen i think i've got everything finally set up organized ready the only issue is that i opened my instagram account for my shop and two seconds later i'm being locked out of my shop account i was trying to verify my email with it my accountant was made under a number a phone number and for some reason whenever it says it's going to send the verification text it's never sent i don't know it's a little annoying if i don't get this figured out by today i might have to just make a new account for that uh you can get all the latest updates on my regular instagram at on leaf and i also opened up a twitter account as well under annika sleeve so there is where all the info will be for that but everyone's excited for me thank you i'm gonna launch my shop on sunday and it's gonna go live 24 hours from this video being posted i'm gonna make a post on the community tab about it as well as my instagram and twitter if the instagram situation fixes itself this is a lot so please be kind to me if there are issues i've done everything that i can as of now i think foreign smooth but if there is any complications please be kind what am i going to be selling well i have a variety of die-cut stickers as well as sticker sheets some halloween and autumn stuff in there as well so that's going to be limited supply so snatch those up fast if you want them i've also made a bunch of lovely i made a bunch of lovely scrunchies there are satin ones there are cotton ones they wrap around your hair around two to three times one two we're good but three even more secure and lastly i made a bunch of beaded rings so they only come in one size and i listed all the sizing info on my shop as well but they're stretchy so they should be able to fit a variety of different fingers if things sell out fast i will try to restock it shortly and i'll put up notices when that happens i'm speaking as if i'm gonna sell out i should have more confidence in myself but i'm like who wants to i don't know if anyone actually wants to give their hard-earned money to me for my stuff but we'll see thank you so much for sticking with me and maybe possibly supporting my shop um take care
