Star Wars Republic Commando - Full Gameplay Walkthrough PS4

[Music] you're about to see one of the most unique star wars games ever made there is nothing else like this and i'm not sure there ever will be only problem is the game is insanely hard my goodness how long does it take to destroy just a single super battle droid stab stab stab well that gets a little easier later in the game but man republic commando i have never finished this game before i always got stuck by the overwhelming droid forces and geonosians and so many super battle droids stab snap snap snap snap today the game had a re-release on the ps4 and nintendo switch so i thought i'd play through and finally try and finish this and honestly the further i got into it the more i enjoyed it there's a real sense of brotherhood between delta squat you feel like they've got each other's backs and they're all fighting for the same cause their banter and humor is something we've never really seen done since this it's really unique to this game and really creates a lot of personality in their characters and once i got the hang of it the squad based gameplay was super satisfying sure there are elements of the game that feel old and dated but there are aspects of this i've never experienced in any other star wars game like the squad gameplay the humor the banter the overwhelming droid forces stab stab stab this game isn't so much about the story it's much more focused on delivering a military simulation to ask the question what would it be like to play as a squad of special ops soldiers fighting in the clone wars it's this experience that it absolutely nails the performances are also incredible and definitely worth noting tomorrow morrison man he's the best i've been wanting a republic commando 2 for ages now some sort of sequel or update to what this game was but for now this is what we have this is star wars republic commando hey everyone it's andrew okay here we go republic commando is a game that i have never finished i can't wait to start this and get it done here we go opening mission right from the start let's go welcome this is your first day your designation will be rp 01-138 1138 thx i love this this is like the only game the only experience where you actually get to see the clone training and start from camino hey it's that kid that said yep [Music] yep oh that's cool how they actually look at you as well nice and in this regard you will be superior to your more common brethren i love that tell me you're a morrison man there he is for you are a commander an elite unit something truly special your weapons your armor and most importantly your brothers the eiffer of our world hunt and parts to bring down much larger prey so too shall you join the three brothers and become fierce hunters for the republic now join your part and embrace your destiny as their leader join delta squad hey guys how's it going down to 40. your foundation a pure and uncomplicated soldier hey there the heart and the republic will call you to defend and give your lies if need be i mean at this point they do play a quite a pivotal role in the entire saga don't they especially in the clone wars the conclusion of the clone wars and i love how we're just about to link into the whole geonosis section and attack the clones ready for lift okay group b let's move it let's go push those cannons to the stern hold the ammo and the ordnance let's sounds good dude let's go so so far honestly like it looks good it's running really smoothly on the ps4 obviously this is just a port it's not a remaster it's not an upgrade in any way it's literally just them aspire have taken the game and put it on ps4 the republic's secret weapon a massive clone army is deployed for the first time against the separatist droid forces and then that's where we come in the day they all save the jedi far above the carnage the elite commandos of delta squad prepare for their first mission that's us so going in as like a special ops kind of mission zero hour clone wars geonosis it's like the ultimate like military sim that's what exactly what this game is how difficult it is as well the difficulty level it's about as clone simulator as it gets sounds good yeah so this obviously links to attack of the and clones him i will be issuing further orders as you go good luck commando thanks man so son fak is the geonosian leader correct but basically we're in this position where we've joined the battle of geonosis except we're going in as a special ops team to find and kill sun fact whoa dude tactical information will be displayed on your heads-up displays it's already begun they're already teaching you how to use the bacter stand in front of the device and hold down the button okay whoa okay damn all the clothes are dying where's the back to dispenser give me that backed up i have night vision location to objective tracker the objective tracker will point towards your next target both clones just dying around objective tracker points towards the target okay fabulous let's oh man droid right sweet first claimed victim yes one thing i remember from playing this game last time is you run out of ammo really quickly and super battle droids are nearly impossible to kill next to impossible ridiculously also the sound effects kind of weird what's with the different looking battle droids as well it's like yeah they're not exactly the kind of battle droids you remember so i like how all the different clones in this game don't have tamara morrison's voice as well it's just the character you play as one three eight boss that has tomorrow morrison's voice all the other clothes like other actors it's so cool using the commandos blaster though unfortunately it's super weak reloading it's cool though i'm glad it's not like a recharge weapon like in battlefront 2 this is the only weapon i'm pretty sure in the game that isn't a recharge based one like it's not a cool down weapon you have to actually reload it which is kind of cool it's very unique to that the commandos in battlefront 2. okay let's grab some thermal detonators all right let's get some explosions going through grenade r1 amazing okay shocking grenade oh i'm going to get it in there is that how it works yeah oh sweet so much fun goodbye my friends look at the clone forces coming in houses as if this is incredibly epic so cool okay we're going down into the bunker here we go crouch r3 so we've completely remapped the controls to make the game feel more like an ordinary fps game the controls were really weird before here we go delta squad you were directly behind the turret yeah i don't know what was with the mapping originally is really really off really strange anti-armor attachment sweet continue with his boss just get us inside without killing the squad boom hey all right let's shoot the spiders right oh damn it is actually doing damage oh crap geonosian a little too close for comfort are these the dudes with the beam lasers that's the funny thing about this game as well like a lot of it this isn't considered star wars canon anymore right the characters are cause they were included in the clone wars dave filoni put them in the clone wars but in that one episode they make an appearance but um yeah like a lot of the side characters and um ai you fight aren't actually you know proper star wars canon characters as in they have different weapons and different kind of abilities like the geonosians have those weird beam lasers you're going to see a bit later whoa epic i think we do actually have to take down the spider droid oh there it goes epic oh man the laat hey to monitor your guys from the gun ship and provide you with information as your necessary objective but your immediate objective is to rendezvous with delta 40. gotcha what are they what is that okay i'm gonna shoot one see what happens explosive did i just anger the geonosians did i kill one of their babies is that one of their eggs i really hope not taking position i don't use this nothing nothing there shoot it waste some ammo not what we want to do in this game that blood splatter is one of the grittiest star wars games out there for sure i mean it's got that 2005 kind of you know graphical art style and it does still feel like a really old kind of game like it you know it's not as slick and smooth and the controls are a little clunky some weird stuff going on but you know there's a nostalgia to it there's a feel about that kind of game that's what we're doing here oh hang on do i have to hold it yeah okay and stuff like this like you'd never be doing this in a game right just looking at a menu for 10 seconds while it punches in the car okay oh this is like a breach oh the stranglehold dude uploading and linking with your visor sir fixer suite has a knack for slicing computer systems to bypass security his preferred weapon is the katan armor gauntlet vibro blade huh you can fight some jedi with that kind of weapon it's an old mandalorian weapon there you go you have a little hack there so man i can go back and use him to hack that other one as well okay so that's the bottom left that's what's happening there that's cool it actually tells me what they're doing so in the bottom left it tells me how far away i am from each of my squad and what they're actually engaged in at the moment that's cool oh cool yeah everyone go get some bacter delta squad stay alert you what he would wouldn't he have got the back to her if i didn't tell him to i'm the one who's encouraging this terrible habit they all have back to addicts that they are unaware of your presence awesome slice that door is unlocked oh yeah and i can actually get them to focus fire on something oh there you go if you hold triangle that's following the mission i'm just like hey can i sit in the chair oh this is the room from attack of the clones this is the planning room right this is like where they where count dooku has the death star plants but he knows he and has the death star plans i don't remember i was the first super target enemy yep target him everyone attacked some battleground you see how ridiculously tough they are in this game die oh man it's a one flip god ridiculous what is with their strength finally that was absolutely nonsense all right let's chuck grenade in there uh vibro blade there it is oh dudes okay seriously the super battle droids in this game are so scary you can't take them out oh man get him come on guys delta squad form up on the super i'm always out of ammo not really he's nearly done get there oh my gosh how many there we go far out it's way too much ammo all at once it's ridiculous amount i emptied like what three whole had to reload like three times just then okay reaching flare there he is outside the shield uh target to create and pres to assign a sniper maneuver yeah do it get up there sev it is absolutely vital got it do we have to go over the top how are we supposed to get there oh no did we fail the mission or is he coming at us in this oh there we go as if you turn around and try and shoot us why not just fly off dude i'll check the intelligence databanks there's no time to celebrate deltas as you already know 360 squad has been incapacitated their mission was to disable the droid factory in this sector your squad has been re-tasked for this purpose proceed to the elevator gonna get some health dude okay oop let's get in there let's progress on separatists have hidden their factories deep within the bowels of the planet delta squad must penetrate the inner layer of the genosians and locate the main droid construction facility let's go do that hey fellas indicates that there are several factories very deep underground but they are impenetrable to our large assault forces i see signatures emanating from this spire tell us there is a factory below neutralizing one of these factories will tip the scales in our favor for the surface battle our scanners cannot pinpoint the factory's exact location because of a jamming device located near your current position first disable the jamming device once that is accomplished i can guide [Applause] feel safer with you by my side brothers a lot of save checkpoints which is good oh hello there sniper yes please perfect for long range engagements with the electromag scope active a single well-placed shot can take out many types of enemies sometimes more than one at a time that's cool let's equip the sniper let's breach the door 20 shots on the sniper awesome reach charge set clear i love how it's just lying there on the ground for you to pick up oh let's go good stuff they're harvesting highly explosive in its raw form what two shots to kill him unless the first one missed i don't know it was little dodgy okay let's progress up oh boy oh here we go this is why they wanted you to equip the sniper i love that man this weapon with a different attachment oh man the place falling apart oh this this makes such a satisfying sound one more dude oh this guy's got a shield oh there you go no worries hold bridge collapsed okay jamming device okay let's progress on oh hi there this is like alien oh man they are eggs like how calmly they say it can't get any more disgusting oh they are eggs oh don't shoot your fellow teammates what is that dear god this place is a nightmare oh crap he's on fire dude [Applause] when is with those sound effects but it's shielded the controls to that shield must be nearby how many droids [Music] okay let's get yourself some backed up devices interfering with my visuals oh they're up there okay cool assign the order places screen keeps shaking oh that screen shank is so jarring feels so disjointed the controls already kind of you know still feel old even though this is the port it's updated kind of but man down still not easy you have such a limited limited field of view oh dude is he down oh crap that's the first down how far are we in this is like 20 minutes into the game we've already got our first down man it doesn't bode well does it get some bacter and later on there's way less back to stations as well all right let's get this thing cover me hello there just looking at him from behind i think it's the fact they're all flying as well the gnosis all over the place like it's these dudes and laser beam guys which we haven't encountered yet but that's going to be a real challenge for us and i'm out of ammo great oh man already being overwhelmed with [Applause] geonosians all right let's blow this place oh okay we're all just down here while we blow that up it's like communications come on shouldn't we get some cover first complex one level below your current location make your way through the opening behind the jamming device i can do this all day there is a ledge at the end of this shaft you can repel to the lower level from that ledge okay let's do that if you manage to get your hands on a rocket launcher hold the trigger to activate the lock-on feature ain't technology great i didn't know that that's cool let's try that stay alert can't wait to get the shotgun later that's so much fun it's a one hit on certain enemies okay so where to from here unable to find a way across the spire to the factory you're going to have to get creative with this one okay okay let's get someone maneuvered oh this is the beam laser dude stay out of the way of that that's like a one hit i'm pretty sure it's just like geonosians all flying at you it doesn't ease you in it's like yeah you fight a few battle droids all my squad is down already am i just really bad at this or is it really hard yep everyone's dead it's just me ah that was a good hit okay let's try that again i'm not taking any damage which is good come on come into my crosshairs oh blew his head off come on quickly get up let's go okay i gotta heal the squad come back into action oh man dude i'm being stabbed as i'm healing you get away let's get someone on this spot okay let's blow that man already so hectic this is like the second mission still in geonosis throw a grenade over there did nothing complete miss playing another charge there i don't know if we're gonna have enough health to do that though so it's funny when this game actually came out it what it didn't actually sell as well as they were uh predicting it undersold underperformed and it was only later that it developed more of a cult following let's rearrange some architecture let's rearrange some architecture that's one way of putting it all right let's go let's get out of here i'm hot enough it's too much already it's too much i'm playing on easy bed when i first started playing this today i was like oh okay you know playing on easy it's gonna be a lot easier more straightforward but already we're already just swabbed it's it's funny how quickly the feeling returned that i had last time playing this where it's just like constant overwhelm panic trying to keep your squad alive not knowing what to do feeling like your weapons are ridiculously underpowered compared to the super battle droids and geonosians and everyone else it's insane destroying the droid factory delta squad has improvised an entry and penetrated the foundry but completing its mission will not be easy several vital components must be identified and destroyed in order to [ __ ] the droid production line let's go into that find a computer and upload the factory schematics analyze want to see an online squad based game like this when you get to play through with other players i want i mean i'm sure everyone wants a republic commander 2 updated version of this with modern graphics modern gameplay hopefully hardcore mode for og fans people will remember how difficult this game was flanker simulator let's okay oh nice oh they throw the grenade in that's cool okay someone get on that and then we're gonna stay alive apart from them oh my god this is terrible there's no way we're surviving this how many squad mates we're gonna lose all right someone pick up sev please and then get yourself some back down and there's the ammo behind them okay cool squad must proceed through hostile territory and gain entry to a nearby separatist vessel somewhere aboard are the launch codes for the entire core ship fleet ha that's epic so we do have such a huge role in the battle of geonosis we're basically going to take out all of the core ships it seems that's epicurrent up ahead we need you to infiltrate and retrieve its launch codes giving us the edge we need to hold the evacuation of the separatist fleet advance via the canyon and effect entry any way you can any intel on the enemy forces in this area there's a passage up ahead that should lead to the next canyon all right let's get to it squad sounds good and don't come back without those launch codes got it kind of hi we've got some more clones here hey guys how's it going sweet oh crap hi dude no oh wow he's dead is this dude invincible oh that sucks yeah i feel like you really get to see what happens to everyone's clown you know all the clone brothers in this game just the real grit of the war everyone's dying it's really sad okay someone's going to do that and then i'm going to do this i think why not i hardly do anything around here 10 seconds you're going to hold the triangle button for just sitting here i can hear a blast of fire my squad mates dying all around me no worries i'm going to set this up no blow it up there we go all right let's go so i can destroy look through there okay we've taken out all the dudes in here no more geonosians coming in oh crap another supra oh love the breach go oh how many grenades can they take there's two have another one it's making like the same sound effect every dive okay so it's four grenades to kill a supra oh and they're both still alive on the ground what is that what is that now that you've disabled straight back into the action position that's exactly what i want that's my anti-armor attachment grenade launcher right in there are you sure that's it oh there it is okay cool okay the anti-armor attachment packs quite a punch particularly effective against heavily armored target its explosive radius can also be quite useful for clean air clearing out groups of less armored enemies so that's on the left against all these droids yes it will yeah super battle drake knock him down open the gate one shot one kill amazing this door is shielded sir looks like we have to go around damn droids let us through debris blocking our path your boss we need to detonate the rocks to get through oh cool let's see that's not just saying that because i love to blow stuff up yes you are i think you are yeah sweet super battle droids say hello to my little friend goodbye stop killing my friends you go bye-bye oh crap this is like before revenge of the sith and they're doing anti-armor doing spider droids how cool is that all right final grenade i think it's done for there it goes epic i sure hope we don't encounter many more of those we've reached the entrance to the core ship but it appears to be shielded affirmative we're bringing in some air support now oh sweet delta squad this is gunship wing delta 4-2 we're closing on your position now stand back from the entryway you're late to the party pilot you should be happy i got here at all it's a nightmare out there we've got a visual on the target area initiating firing run now you boys are gonna want to stand back oh yeah where's the ship whoa late shield epic thanks so good to be of service delta now get into that ship and secure those launch codes there you go have some stabs in the back and you're done for cool attack console see what happens after this oh okay we're bringing the drawbridge over oh nice okay sweet he's taken down good job delta squad now that you've reached the core ship it's time for you to split up each of you is tasked with disabling a different critical system within the ship taking out these critical systems will weaken the ship defense components and make achieving your ultimate objective easier remember it is imperative that you retrieve those launch codes good luck delta we gotta get the courtship door and we're going in alone this time let's do it this is delta 38 delta squad has accomplished the republic's first breach of an enemy capital ship but the battle is not over a horde of merciless battle droids lie dormant ready to be awakened by a heedless commando i thought it said headless i was like wait a second what game am i playing your primary objective is oh i'm getting so dizzy sounds good i bet this is i bet this is pretty advanced for uh against all these droids they don't stand a chance damn straight oh crap don't wake them up this is like these droids the mandalorian all over it i've seen lots of droids but they're all asleep running into a little droid ship whoa nice well that's cool can i push you around yes i can you're actually a ragdoll all right let's get this exploded crouch down here wrong button again it'd be good to find some ammo soon as well uh-oh sev's talking about droid kids does that mean we're about to run into a bunch of them can't have a negative clone wars game without droiding this can we oh there we go oh it's severe oh why rise of delta squad while the jedi above ground take the glory a small squad of soldiers leaves geonosis knowing that they accomplished their mission with courage with precision and with excellence and that is all they need we did it we unlocked extra content as well so that's geonosis done but over a year of sustained fighting has stretched the republic's forces dangerously thin no way there's very few clones left delta squad finds itself in constant demand for increasingly hazardous missions on the outskirts of separatist space a missing republic assault ship has reappeared ah this is the horror mission one the veteran commandos of delta squad are dispatched to investigate and that's where we come in you may recognize your next objective the the prosecutor was our first home we were stationed there for a long time the last patrol was the corellia sector defending republic trade routes against separatist activity but we lost contact with her over two weeks ago this is nowhere near corellia have they gone rogue not likely respectfully sir it could be a trap indeed it could deal which is why we're sending our most qualified squad to investigate someone important noted your excellence on geonosis someone thinks i'm excellent well that makes two of you prepare for low gravity infiltration seal your suits good luck oh cool damn we're just jumping right out can i pick up some ammo first no going straight for it all right oh but i don't actually get to play this damn that would be cool it was 2005 that was a long time ago but yeah go ship recon commandos work as a team but they are just as deadly and efficient alone to cover the vast starship delta squad has split up their best hope is to move fast and silent through the vessel and recover their objectives let's you may also be called upon to assist your squad mates with their orders oh seven is tasked with retrieving the sensor locks from the starboard data call delta 40 will hit the port call for the manifesto don't leave me oh dear deltas i've lost contact with command can any of you get through no signal here sir seven out it's all white noise in my end boss six two out that's a negative squad leader four out what do you think happened to him that's not important right sir right body if the advisor can re-establish coms he will in the meantime we've got some data to retrieve move out delta okay so we're all alone on this abandoned ship abandoned republic ship and what's happened here what's going wrong is it being raided by pirates perhaps have the separatists taking it over or something more sinister happened oh what is that sound my knocks in the torpedo bay ship thieves could stand to learn something about republic discipline deltas reporting any signs of life seven here i've got nothing this is delta no life signs yet six two reporting nothing but minox sir it's disgraceful if thurman keep eating through the power conduits this ship won't be worth its weight and scrap i like of the story how it just like progresses one objective after the other and there's no real end to it you know what i mean it like doesn't put you in a menu or anything it just gives you that loading halves parties have already reached this side of the bridge and are attempting to clear a path for the main invasion force once you've reached the center span you will place a demo charge at this done taffle all right squad now that we've blown the center span and stopped the forward progress of the separatist we need to finish the job let's get it done since the separatists have had time to occupy this area at the bridge advance forward to the hangar and keep an eye out for pockets of wookie resistance they'll need your help good one sir enemy eliminated good kill cool all right let's push on fellas i'm sure there's gonna be a lot more enemies here appears to be blocked you'll have to look for an alternate route schematics show a maintenance shaft in the back corner let's go just keep pushing charges to explode and slice those charges before they go off okay let's do this oh man good job the loading dock is secure and it looks like you managed to save some of the ammo now this pumping station proceed with caution of course looks like there's a control panel at the end of the catwalk we need to get over there and close the blast doors on these windows good stuff oh man yep here we go oh need a reload here how close is he come on there he goes cool cool cool all right crap i'm out of ammo as well damn it nothing okay sweet all right pick up your friendliest cool search and destroy a major confrontation with separatist forces is now inevitable the two factions are advancing on one another preparing for an all-out battle on the top of this tree get up there and destroy it toefl and his men are on the way to the war room they'll provide intel and technical support from there he's left behind to help you let's do it in the main city oh man okay nearly dead such a grind taking these big guys out hey okay i think we'll save that i see a lot of stuff doesn't make sense full grenades should do it there we go and there's another one down and the ship's hanging straight ahead provide support as needed delta squad on the other side of this door you know the drill get in there and take out the enemy i feel like we're coming to the end i feel like we're coming to the end we've got to give the wookies room to escape i do love the variety of grenades in this game it's fun oh here we go droid dispensers let's get that one taken care of please nice well done okay you'll have to use the service branch effect rapid entry into the service branch by detonating one of the large fuel tanks the one on the right scans as empty that's your best bet you'll have to make your way through the nursery facilities of the citadel it's drawing too much power for the defense turrets to come online toefl has informed us that there are some backup power generators in this service branch interesting yeah so the grind man getting through this game honestly come to realize it's less about the story and more just about the experience of playing as a unit of commandos because it's doing that so well like the squad based mechanics being able to use you know the different uh inputs and commands to actually get everyone to move around and do stuff go into different positions do different weapons pick up weapons off the ground healing mechanics everything is like working pretty pretty well together and that's that's that's kind of the vibe they're going for here that's the experience they want you to have it's a commando based game there's the first backup generator slice into its controls and power it up thank you you need to keep moving [Music] let's do it all right change of pace i see the sun is coming out a bit with clouds in the sky it was nighttime before rich and clear you're clear we're in someone on the snipe point please need our help oh sweet ship those hairy freaks oh yeah okay the boogie wookie ships okay all right let's get someone on that oh as traders grievous is escaping sir oh my god three of them no wonder we got so many turrets okay let's get someone in that too sweet last one oh auntie armor i love how they set up the turrets there's rooms like this i enjoy it's fine because it's like you have such a dominant chance take control of the elevator oh boy how many of them are there geez wow the elevator is clear good stuff okay hectic love that you need specialists men with no fear that's what we are levels of each online the four bays you'll find a wookiee dual missile turret only with the combined firepower of all four turrets do we have the slightest chance of taking down this juggernaut that sounds like fun so we're all good all four of us have to use the turrets what you forgot to press the button sev oh my god i thought that was supposed to be like special ops very well aware the final strike this is it a separate destroyed ship threatens all of delta's gains delivering waves of troops into the wookie city it's up to four brave commandos to reach something something wait where to reach the vessel and shoot it out of the sky let's do it we've made it to the top sir done cool cool all right okay cool yep good stuff okay he's ready so fixer you're on a tire too okay doing good all together let's go okay here we go that's yours now i'm gonna get to mine i'm all alone get away from me please there we go ah cool all right get oh epic that's exactly the kind of ending i want here we go blow fellas there it goes oh wow epic a little precision teamwork oh and then it's completely gone no wreckage no nothing a little precision teamwork lose the chatter commandos what now sir awaiting further instructions sporty delta squad regroup at 3 8 position for xfill boss i've got a problem here oh no where are you dude serve no signal we'll find it again damn it squad regroup we're going after sev negative negative 3 8 new orders came through from the jedi generals clear the area evac now oh my god is that it the fate of delta squad racked with guilt about leaving their comrade behind delta squad follows orders and boards the republic gunship the painful reality of the republic commando is that judy must come before brotherhood so is sev actually dead dude epilogue the battle of kashyyyk begins i'm i'm sad where's seth he's my bro operation yes it is it's set he's talking about my pod brother hold on hold on advisor what do you mean an entire operation your team was the advanced force for a full-scale republic invasion i had strict orders not to tell you it was your reconnaissance your intel that verified the operation and now the invasion has begun [Applause] vector [Applause] [Music] look it's the invasion force taking the city was only the beginning i've never seen so many ships before yes sir oh my god is sorry deltas looks like it's back to the action you have your orders delta squad lock and load oh wow master yoda coming and giving us some orders sev is gone or is he what happened to sev and that's it that's the game wow okay it's quite an abrupt ending isn't it it's just what what happens sev dies you get a little master yoda cameo he comes and says hi and then we're in the credits but um yeah definitely certain things that impressed me i loved the squad based mechanics i loved that you know you have a real sense of brotherhood and camaraderie between the squad um the story itself is obviously kind of quite loose but i love how it's tied into the actual clone wars obviously at the end there where ron kashik where leading the droid in leaving this the republic invasion into oh look just look at the cost while we're here jonathan david cook with sev yeah we're leading the republic version of we're we're leading the republic invasion of kashyyyk that we see in revenge of the sith and obviously we're earlier tied into geonosis in attack of clones and it's um yeah really rounded off nicely but um i was really surprised with how it ended like it's so abrupt we're just at the end here here we are and i guess i wasn't expecting much more the game doesn't have any cutscenes or anything there's no um yeah integration of anything like that it's more just everything happens in the action and that's the fun of it and that's the commando experience and that's what it delivered on it definitely was you know the closest thing to a republic commander kind of experience a special ops star wars experience we've ever had in a video game so really enjoyed that and that side of it but i'd love to know what you guys think of the end of the campaign what do you think happened to sev is he alive is he somewhere and will we ever find out i would love to see a republic commander true game what happens to the commanders during order 66 i know there's a bunch of novels you can read in books i haven't read them do they turn and become imperial commandos i think they do but i'd love to see some type of you know the hunt for sev kind of thing actually a fun fact republic commando 2 there were two ideas they were throwing up between one was an imperial commando style game where you know order 66 it was following the events of this game and then moving into what happened after the empire took over the formation of the empire and you'd place commandos in that context that was in development or as an early idea even before this game released and it got canned and then there's also the idea they had of you go after sev you find out what happens to him where did he go what happened and um yeah i would have loved to see honestly both exploit in some way maybe you meet sev down the track maybe he doesn't turn maybe you have to hunt him down after order 66 what an idea that would be so cool hopefully one day we'll still see that kind of thing happen and hopefully there's some studio working on this behind the scenes that
