Stalker Anomaly GAMMA Modpack Framerate Fixes| S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Mods

hey what's going on guys uh my name is sotos and I'm here to help optimize your experience with stalker gamma um today we're going to be looking at ways we can alleviate the frame rate issues that you might be having or any Jitters or hiccups that you're having with the with the gamma mod pack that was released by grock um I do want to start out by saying that this will not remove all of your stutters a hundred percent entirely I think with a mod pack as big as gamma there's going to be issues inevitably um so I just wanted to say that right out the gate but there is a lot of things you can do to be able to help a lot of the issues that you might be having so I'm going to go over all of the ones that I'm aware of if there is any other techniques or methods to be able to help with the frame rate and the Jitters in this mod pack please do not hesitate to put them in the comments I will be ecstatic you know and I will try to let as many people know about the method as I can I'll pin it pin the the technique or method that you have anywhere I can to be able to help other people because it has been a huge issue for me and I can imagine it's been a huge issue for other people so let's start uh the first thing that you're going to want to do that I recommend doing is setting your FPS limiter to 70 that seems to be a common method across the board that I've seen on the Discord for this uh for this mod pack seems to be a pretty common method to fix the frame rate issues um I have vertical sync off and I will go over all of the things you can do with your Nvidia control panel as well so just stick around and I'll show you those methods as well all of these uh these settings that I have in terms of like the graphic fidelity um all of those are honestly going to be different depending on anybody's setup so mine can be a lot different from yours I have most of my stuff maxed out except my grass settings my grass settings that I have set for this uh it's it's just the way it came out of the box I didn't mess with them the only thing I did was turn on grass Shadows I left everything else the same if you want to adjust those settings you can but that is going to be the biggest FPS eater out of any of these things that I show you so just be wary of that that will tank your FPS if it's uh if there's too much on those you got then you got lighting um again I have everything maxed out for the most part except the Sun Ray intensities and the base intensities and everything else yeah I have on uh depth of field I have off motion blur don't like the appearance of it so I have that off and the motion bar down um another thing that people have seen to be a problem um it's not really a problem problem for me but some people don't like it some people think things that it uh it removes fluidity from the gameplay is the head bobbing factor I have mine set to one that's just what it is by default that's just the bounce of your character whenever he's running if you'd like that light to have it off you know you're more than welcome to um that will smooth out a lot of things as well though if you like the feel of that um yeah none of these are gonna be crucial to the uh to your frame rate so I'm gonna go ahead and just keep moving forward here so we got the Nvidia control panel um these are my settings I have for anomaly um power management that can be left to normal I didn't notice any difference from putting it on uh for putting on maximum performance I didn't notice any frame rate difference so I'd recommend just leaving it on normal foreign refresh rate highest available I have 144 refresh rate monitor so that's why I have it as high as available again some of this stuff that I have that I've touched you really don't have to touch any of it it's actually all base settings I just tampered with them so that's why they're bold but they're they're all back to normal now that's what it would look like is if you've never touched them and then we got triple buff ring and vertical sync now grock recommends that you turn on Triple buff ring which in turn you should have vertical sync on as well if you decide to use triple buffering because uh from what I know vertical sync does nothing or no sorry triple buffering does nothing by itself so I have both of those off um I've noticed that my computer can handle having all of it off I don't have any screen tearing considering I use the FPS limiter so that is something else you can try um and then the last method that I am aware of has to do with the task manager now if you go to your anomaly EXE and you set the affinity you turn off CPU zero that also seems to be another method of improving the stability of the game so those are all the methods that I currently have um if you ask me I think that one of the reasons why there is frame rate issues or there is Jitters even if you may not be having frame rate issues you can still have hitching which is what I have I haven't been able to fully alleviate the hitching every uh three steps or so I will get a slight hitch this is something that maybe a lot of people might not notice but I notice it it's not a crucial deal if you play the game long enough you your eyes can't adjust to it without seeing it so that is another thing too the The Hitching might be inevitable but I do think that it is coming from the scripts that were created for each one of the mods that use Scripts um I think that these scripts have timers so every couple seconds one of the mods in this mod pack can refresh and if the timer is too small say every three seconds then yeah there will be hitching every three seconds if that mod is refreshing every three seconds so I don't know if that is true but I have seen that to be a possibility because I have seen that some of these mods are set on timers but again I could be wrong I'm not Wizarding any of this stuff I'm simply just a another gamer like you guys so if you guys liked the video or if
