[Music] you all right it's about 6:45 in the morning and we're in Durham getting ready for a Latin festival and we're in the process of getting things set up it should be pretty big there's a lot to do and so we've just started with it and we've got the whole parking lot here to ourselves and right over here should be where the stages and the activities so we'll see how it goes to go [Applause] setting up in the mud this time all right well we're just now starting to set things up she saw previously the stage has arrived and they are setting that up and over here you have the usual back of the cases all analog gear we're using our sound craft gb8 [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] that's slowly coming together but we are getting things actually together yeah front of house speakers are up yes subbed you can't see them they're behind the banner and we're working on getting the stage ready front of house for the most part is ready everything's cabled up we're sort of waiting on the power to test everything so anyway it's going slow but it is coming together all right so we got most of the stuff done front of house is still being put together stage manager Dennis's after putting up mics stands anyway there's a lot of entertainments scheduled for today hopefully we'll have time to get a video of it well we're here is our amplifier rack and on top of that is our wireless rack [Applause] and there's our subs monitor speakers front house and on the front of house speakers what we've done is to accommodate the slope of the parking lot you can tell you get an angle here until we've got the front house mids and highs they are angled each cabinets angle three degrees back which should project well out over the area so anyway we're still putting stuff together it's taking some time but it is coming together [Music] [Music] to [Music] check one two to check 1 2 2 1 2 2 all right I think we're about ready it's awfully breezy out here so hopefully that won't impact anything we're doing so using that gb8 we're using most of the channels here or potentially most the channels and the app board we're here everything's sort of a thing everything is sort of tuned in compressors are said gates are said reverb and delay EQ we don't to mess with it too much mostly for monitors it's only the generator here in the background over there is for a food truck that's a gas-powered generator diesel power generators you can barely hear it so anyway I think we're just about ready and we're gonna be doing some monitor checks and we'll see how that goes all right sir almost ready here I've got the amplifiers extra boxes we've got a forty five thousand watt diesel generator running let's go and take a look at the stage [Music] my comment yeah waiting for something [Applause] so we're gonna try to keep a lot of stuff we may be using appear on the stage just to make it easier to swap things out if the parking lot wasn't so sloped I think we could have flown arrays so anyway that's why we are ground stacking that they are angled upward in order to accommodate the slope of the broken when I say anyway the initial sound check I think and uh pretty good you [Music] Oh [Music] ah [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right well tonight the stage is coming down it was a great time a lot of great bands there are a lot of people out here front of house did real well so anyway thanks for watching and maybe we'll be out here next year maybe we'll do another video for this event anyway pug about maybe 2,000 people out here today great alright guys thanks for watching you
