interesting pick both these characters love their horizontal combo game so this could very well be one or two hits to claim any kind of a stock okay here's the narration we see so many times minter go for that as long as go for the cross up fairly safe here leia opting to go for the prior and leo will go for the pirate at those earlier very confident in the pyro okay there's a spot dodge here and the neutral air almost able to take mithra off the edge again trying to go for the deep edge guard but the up speed and then immediately just the falcon special i'm gonna go ahead and hit you with the ups match into whatever the heck i want there you try to win punish me are you brave sir yeah that's the classic falcon i oh smash don't know don't punish me like jabbing or spot dodging like exactly let's get the dash back great spacing directional air dodge switching up the drift here leo again trying to go for the downtilt setup but too much rage here sour spot on the back air though then trying to go for that one-two punch in edge with a roll on it's gonna allow leo to get back to center stage and then immediately just i know you're gonna try to jump at me got that hit box that'll claim all the space in the world and take that stuff okay the up special not gonna be quite it tries to go really deep off stage trying to get that sharky up there for leo going up and over here another upbeat still not going to be enough the platform the awareness coming out from leo yeah he just knew that was going to be there immediately just drifting directly on top of it saying i'm going to get my junk reset and then we can swap it up and now leo in advantage has got the edge trap opportunity okay trying to get the stop through stage and leo really making it difficult here for fatality to get the final blow look at this cooking up even more damage take the tack right now and we're at the point where probably gentlemen will kill gravel kill but fatality cannot get just about anything other than those upbeats out of shield because he is just unable to get his feet set in neutral at all okay another trade-in man leo making it extremely hard to take the stock and also getting damaged with the trade on the way out as well was that a big falcon up air that killed yeah good god you know you're in desperate times you're killing with your cobblestarters yeah especially on town and city man these high heels ceiling not gonna help falling out of the neutral are very unfortunate here and look at this play off the reverse gonna get up quite a bit of damage and just gonna opt out with the miss right here and still racking up a lot of damage to downtown or like set up into the up smash might do the trick absolutely wow that combo no pyro needed yeah the character her man is mr ken ko man oh but fatality answering right back taking this man all the way off stage neutral air more than enough to kill that jeep no no that hit me hold up to my combo this is my combo hold up fine now that's definitely the use awesome hit myth or so dm oh yeah 100 i really wish you just said you thought i remember when i was in advantage yeah not going to quite connect but this is very close here looking very doable for fatality oh another combo just getting cut short with the foresight here back throw though by paycheck super deep you know this man hunts for them stocks i am committed to this edge guard you can go for the switch you can go for the air dodge i am a shark lurking in the water i will go for i don't care how low you go are you calling them shark you got them got them dead eyes like a doll's eyes yes only rolls up to the back of head the minute he gets a hit absolutely fatality going to go ahead and take game one versus mk leo but i think we had another set earlier where mk leia lost game one right i think don't let it be you though don't let it be you don't let it be you fatality we'll see how game number two goes of course what makes leo so strong is the adaptation right we'll see how it goes through in this set here but yeah that was so crazy the commitment from fatality i don't even know if you can make it back it's close [Music] my goodness if you do make it back from that very barely there and i think in that situation fatality would have even gone lower and waited even longer for that edge guard listen i don't need to make it back if you die that's all it is exactly and fatality is a man that is dedicated to these educa edge guards right and dedicated to a lot of those hard reads that fatality is just known for it that's kind of falcon in a nutshell you have to commit you have to be confident enough to swing when it looks like paul is lost fatality he's been doing it for quite some time okay hollow bastion is the pick here see how this game number two goes mk leo of course sticking it out with the aegis gonna go for the foresight there and you gotta really know which combos of yours can get foresight and which combos can lightning busters solid damage here fatality has to expend his airdodge to get out of tumble gets back to stage though and then they need a double roll on interesting option right there drunk fatality leo unable to react in time to punish and the up air strings but not able to get that frame trap great neutral air dodge from light up he did the direction right there big dad wouldn't punch that hard oh yeah absolutely and that's the one thing when you're on pirate you get smacked up as pirate you don't got that foresight you got some bonus weight but you don't got the foresight between a couple extra pounds and four side i think i'll take the ladder but we talked about ko power if that's one thing that mithra doesn't have pirate definitely got it in 10-fold but of course we got down air for downair fatality coming through with the stomp anything you can do i can do better says fatality not going to get flipped by that down here at the edge again dash into the downhill up there and now face out how to finish double jump to get out of disadvantage but he actually finds himself recovering super low instead into the up there another extension no fatality forces the double jump great neutral air dodge getting the grab on the wrong side here they are going to punch it up with a jab then the aggressive upbeat like that little beefy off when you hold down and maybe try to snap against your hold his shield instead [Music] okay leo keeping up the pressure here has done quite a bit of damage to fatality and this pirate oh i've seen a little quick shot though yeah exactly right wrist there man and of course with pyro and a lot of the sword here just kind of just reposition yourself backwards right but still facing forward such a great tool you already know man give her the side eyes man exactly anytime you see slingshot in the uh in bracket you're going to go ahead and take him to the finder yeah yeah bro he's got that copy right here yeah you got the royals he's loyal contact don't worry man we talked about leia losing game one in another set and it got turned around pretty quick and uh maybe even sooner than later here for this fatality set here's the song trying to get the forward smash but again leo just so hard to hit all these neutral interactions going into his favor and then immediately has to run off in an awkward spot no double jump can't get the pick up there with the downhill instead roll through trying to go and get the down air but good offbeat from fatality full stage really needs this stock the air dodge is out but gonna try to wait it out and stop the er on the top of that offbeat 75 here on fatality and we've seen the combo game especially if you're locked on pirate doesn't get the pick up the spot dodge into the jab hold up this offense situation here for leo almost catches the double jump a tad bit off on the neutral air and then the scramble situation mk leo couldn't get a reversal it's how he was so tricky with that air dodge back oh wait the line up here going for the downtilt a little too early on the grab fatality trying to line something up off stage but great defense coming out from layla yeah these rising air dodges have been eating fatalities aggressive options alive eventually you have to wonder when is legal to get the lead for the upbeat that won't do it the other match would have done the trick but it would have been harder to connect their layouts for the more guaranteed but the reverse side of the up tilt to close it out but you know fatality keeping that game to a lot closer than we thought it was going to be for sure you see him nodding his head right there that's part of the reason why hollow bashes the counter pick because pyrometer can sit underneath that platform their uphills and their ops matches cover so much space how do you get back from edge you have no platform to reset on falcon not known for having the best defensive options do you want to sell it all on something like an upbeat or a falcon kick no you try for plat and paleo got it covered two steps ahead yeah absolutely and i mean that reverse up tilt comes out really quick for pyro and pirate can set up so many great block string situations even if you're like falling down with an aerial then going into immediate uptilt you catch a lot of jumps in this situation but like you said you're on the edge you go for a jump you go for a double jump where else can you go leo has all the options covered he saw the little bubble on that upper end and was just like no double jump means no stop for you but we're on to the violet now for callow so i wonder if this is a character counterpick perhaps or if it's a stage selection here i mean we just saw a win with aegis and he still doesn't feel comfortable enough to pick that character it was really close and i think it it might be leo just wanting i mean obviously the recovery on violence at way better right but especially on cows when you got the walls you can go ahead and upbeat onto those walls so even a better recovery and when you have a better recovery against fatality you can go for a lot safer options because fatality is going so hard off stage right i feel like aegis definitely does play the fatality strength like if we just see this man we know off stage he is a demon against violet do you really want to risk it you may very well find yourself getting reversal right there and paleo showing a tale of what is to come potentially yeah leo can go low especially on this stage and be really really safe here but of course falcons going not gonna have the greatest boxing options right uh comparatively to mitra of course you do have that neutral which is the go-to for biology if you're next to me abner i'm either narrowing or jumping out see you later and then these aggressive bears and bears just catching fatalities just trying to swing on him and violence are not appreciating downhill into the up there not gonna finish the stock and leo very wide just go back to center stage the sweet spot they're nearly killing fatality but great die yet again oh here's the up air trying to shark this first thought but the scoops with the ugg almost taking the stock and the neutral air taking leo off to the side fatality with the early lead but leo firing right back blow for blow these two all set have been going back and forth the character change making no difference fatality knows how to answer and so does later here's the up air ooh beautiful you're gonna be a great command grab on these sides here leo getting back on the stage another upbeat you gotta hold all this damage 68 so far and we haven't really seen leo be able to get those big rising neutrals to cross up fatality shield primarily because the galaxy is playing and shield he's playing aggressively running in and out not trying to find himself a spot where he's got his feet planted and allow bile to move around him yeah i like how fatality is not really wanting to contest the neutral no i'm going to play the hit and run game i'm going to try to full hop over these short hop mirrors really great strategy coming out from fatality but how much longer can you keep it up leo slowly and surely adapting here tacking on a bunch of damage and when leo has control of the state it'll be such a problem but the shield grab here going for the deep end he's got the reverse the reverse and you are not going to make it back leo facing the opposite direction how sneaky was that how many times have we seen mk leo do that though every time you try to edge guard this man he's like already planning ahead like how do i kill you from the deaths right and i mean you're not gonna really have that option with pirate mithra i mean maybe sometimes but way way more common with the violence right you can go so low with that upbeat or you can just clip them with the upbeat and get a stock for yourself oh my goodness there's no double jump the spike almost coming through okay here is the stop but the follow-up is not gonna be enough for the stock here the back air barrage coming out from fatality but that neutral area intercepting his upbeat uses the wall jump to make sure that he gets back to edge and now leo can just fade back with those forward airs and back hairs and dare fatality to claim space downhill will claim the stock here so we are not done by any means honestly fatality doing a really good job of at least bringing leo to this last stock and how explosive fatality is i know we kind of mean last stock last hit but fatality's offense is so crazy that you know if the stocks are even you gotta watch it the air streams the air dodge almost picking up on that landing as well oh no another shield grab no it's gonna go off for the roll away here man you gotta be careful of your layout the tech chase the up air it's not gonna be enough fatality a little bit heavy on that falcon mutual air dog shoot just to make sure that he could immediately run the heck away missed tech twice in a row off of the hair that's robbie if leo ever manages to get any catch on that it could be the end of the game instead it's the fair fatality trying to jump around leo's hitboxes but when the man's gonna dang polar and poking you from a distance it can be super difficult to get in from above yeah not the most active move but when you have good spacing as well as leo you are going to be very proficient with it very accurate so great precision coming out from leo fatality has it one opening almost got that reset barely just facing the wrong direction but you have to hit every single one of those against leo because he just doesn't give you that much openings and the most messed up part about it was that leia was at such a low percent that even if he went for one of his trademark just wait out the air dodge and get the stomp it would not have killed violet's upbeat is so good at snatching once you get spiked in low percents then i don't even think you would have had the opportunity for double jump because you just immediately get the snap immediately pull yourself up and then you reverse on foul yeah yeah and i mean even if we don't see the reversal from the upbeat we saw leo reverse an off-stage situation within there with a reverse snare like that was absolutely insane the bag of tricks runs deep with this young man here so leo fatality coming in for this game number four fatality not letting it run away too far but still it feels like leo has a very great grasp on this match so far so good indeed the counterfeit coming in clutch so already but the question becomes can fatality change the tempo of his game plan and bring up some anti-violent tech per apps yeah leo tried to go for the bounce match trying to get the stock at 40. see you later i see you even even the best player in the world can get a little cheesy sometimes every now and then yeah just pull it out just a reminder i'm human too yeah yeah oh and there's the upbeat i don't care what kind of drip mix up do you guys exist up he's going to cover everything and it's going to spike you to your desk i've yet to meet somebody that can out think that move yeah yeah it's it's hard to maneuver around and now look at this layout oh getting a little soft oh my lord very nearly taking fatality off the side oh man leo trying to get the twitch clip right now my goodness and still on the hunt man we're talking about leo not giving fatality any openings man fatality you might have to switch the script because you might not have to give leo all these openings because he is making them count every single interaction seems to end with fatality either at the edge or dead leo turning it up to 11 in what might be fatality's last game on the winner's side he has to show us something special right here comebacks have been his forte in the past what's he got man leia with so much control here your fatality what do you do goes for the reverse upbeat barely getting a whiff punish on that neutral trying to fling out these kill options there's the dash stack here's the vanishing finally fourth fatality what can we do off this lead trap another back throw putting leo off stage here another leg strap but wait oh the backer great dei to avoid it but the off stage pressure continues and just looks fatalia has to respect all that we saw him against aegis running off big every single time and we had to hold our breaths because he could very well claim stocks instead he just has to watch fk later recover and say maybe next time yeah yeah exactly all right so finally fatality getting one on the board here downhill into the upbeat not gonna get the full bounce there dash attack does gets on the start but then they're immediately out of disadvantage and on the side be leo looking aggressive right now doesn't he got the footstool fatality hold up is this how it gets started charles leo just made a mistake hold up can fatality use this you got the max rage can you get the opening oh trying to get the snipe trying to burn the air dodge beautiful tech coming out from fatality does get the roll pass with no punish though but you're on safe the jab even more damage this does not know no no no not even at 200. 191 percent you practically can't get hit by anything here maybe a grab fatality trying to overshoot trying to find his opening against leo here he just needs one hit but not going to be able to the defense to clutch for leo up till claims it with the 3-1 victory yeah amazing stuff from mk leo there little flubs here and there but nonetheless both players playing very phenomenal there but leo really just closing it out 3-1 versus fatality fatality was able to get that game one but really not able to carry the rest of that momentum to the rest of the set it's like you said the momentum is the biggest thing you cannot allow falcon to get things going was it supposed no it looked like you did drop shield either to jump or toss it yeah it just feels like when you're in that spot where your opponent's at such a high percentage so many players will get antsy they'll feel like they need to throw something out they need to claim the stock immediately they need to just get this over with and paleo never does he is unphased whether you have a three stop lead a one stock lead whether you're at one percent or 100 it doesn't matter he's seen it before and he'll do it to you again i feel like leo can play a last stock last hit set for like an eight minute span and like both of you guys are like 300 and you guys are just playing perfect neutral for eight minutes longer he is the sudden death king yes yes i mean and that's why he's so clutch right he's able to play so calculated so calm in so many of those situations for so long
