you don't miss out on any updates and help raise that 38% even higher Final Fantasy 7 rebirth director hamaguchi says that after unlocking chapter select that's like beating the game cuz when you beat the game you unlock chapter select that's technically the new game plus mode players can replay chapters without cloud in their team allowing them to control other characters as the lead party member BR that is massive bro that's such a good change I love that you got to beat the game and you can unlock and do a bunch of other cool things you know what they should also do on top of that is if you beat the game you can change the character outfits because they said it in an interview previously that the reason why they limit outfits to certain areas and moments of the game is just so that they don't take away from Big impactful moments later on in the story I totally get that but I feel like once we already play the game we already have that impact we already know like you know we we get the feel of it we we play through it let us choose and customize our outfits that's I mean that's what games used to do back in the day right you got to beat the game at least once to start to customize and use your other things that kind of like made things either wacky unserious and just fun I know they want to maintain the Artistic integrity I totally get that but tying it till after you beat the game best decision they could have ever done this is great New Game Plus is going to be awesome man once we got yui introduced in her DLC I need to try out a party with yui Tifa and Eric and it looks like we're going to very well be able to do that I love Cloud don't get me wrong I love Cloud I just I want to see other combinations there's other amazing characters in this story everybody's always together in every single cut scene in every single field obviously you'll control cloud in the the the important moments but what I'm saying is cloud and the entire party are always together so anytime the party is next to Cloud they're all walking around the fields together so being able to swap Cloud out even if we go into another cut scene it could always transition back to Cloud just fine it wouldn't it wouldn't really take us out of that chapter 1 was very long it took me 2 and 1/ half hours to play on a first first play so I can only imagine other chapters are going to be crazy too I wonder what other cool things we can unlock after we beat the game obviously I mean they're going to have like endgame Dungeons and and maybe like end game bosses and end game challenges for us to do and try out like VR wise maybe in the open world too the costume thing customized parties a cloudless party we'll just say a cloudless party having those options available man that's just perfection in this entire grand scheme of things things cuz that's what they used to be able to do in RPGs back in the day in Final Fantasy 6 a lot of people prefer Terra as their main protagonist a lot of people prefer to have Celeste as the main protagonist a lot of people prefer to have lock as the main protagonist and that's what was cool about those games is you could fully do that you can customize and take one out of the party you could totally use uh whatever combination of those characters you want right in Chrono Trigger that was the case as well you could swap Chrono out and put in other characters as an RP RPG games regardless of the fact that if it's story or not the characters are still going to be there in the cut scenes it's not changing any of that I think that for gameplay wise that's a really great thing for them to do every Final Fantasy up to 6 did that to be fair yeah yeah up until it was 7 when they stopped doing that really and on top of that man good good news all around right here hamaguchi himself says hey are you guys all enjoying the Final Fantasy 7 rebirth demo on February 21st we are planning to update the demo with the junan area which will give you a preview of the vast and expansive world I hope you look forward to it I'm definitely looking forward to that man let's actually play this little trailer that they had right here for us bro get to experience the demo oh my God I got a lot of comments from people interestingly enough they they assume that the nilheim area is like an open world segment which is not the case there's a lot of confusion with that the junon segment it's like there's different regions the game is broken up into different regions that interconnect seamlessly throughout the world junan eil grasslands all that stuff are exactly like that Neil's obviously built in the mountains so it's not going to be as open and vast as the grasslands is but on the 21st we'll be able to run through junon together which is going to be basically what I played basically what I played but in I guess this current like demo build which is much more much better than what I played because the demo that I played there was an issue with the lighting where it just got pitched black in areas and now in those same areas that I was having issues with in my playr when I'm playing them in the demo out now it'll get it won't be pitched black there'll actually be a light tint of shade on the character's skin and the area based on where the light is fixated from so I think that's a really cool change that they did still not a fan of like when you go into like buildings how crazy it goes from like dark to light it it's kind of blinding so I'm hoping that's also something that they tweak too but what's really cool is that the devs have been listening and taking and feedback so I'm going to make a video talking about those things so hopefully you know fingers crossed they they they pay attention they listen to that and they they maybe they look into it maybe they look into it and try to get those things we have two weeks mob we got to wait two weeks until the demo gets updated this has a yo this has an opportunity to be one of the not not the greatest demos of all time but like seriously a [ __ ] insane demo I think honestly the grand blue fantasy relink demo is probably one of the most fun demos I've played in a very long time because you can play 11 different characters between those three missions there's Co-op and you can also to get a little bit of a glimpse into the story but to try those 11 characters like that in a demo just that's crazy I thought it was just going to let us play as Grand and call it a date no we can play as everybody well first 11 and then you throw out like Final Fantasy 7 rebirth which let's just play pretty much the first chapter and then they're going to update it to add in an open area EX for exploration segments that is so good they don't have to do that the game comes out a week later after that they could totally just say [ __ ] that you guys could wait a week but no they're like no we want you to experience it and it doesn't stop there too there's actually some other cool stuff so in regards to this article from Euro gamer Final Fantasy a toy box says Siri producer the oari katas talking about remake side quest and Tekken the most important part about all this is the Tekken inclusion and I kind of hope that you know this could mean a whole bunch of things cuz I mean quite frankly I'm only just now getting into Grand blue fantasy I never played the gotcha I didn't even know that thing existed I remember hearing about the fighting game and I was like what the hell is Grand blue fantasy that just sounds so freaking random that then I found out it's a whole big like gacha game that a lot of people love and it's like a huge hit in Japan in addition to being a gacha it has a great fighting game a very very well-loved fighting game with rollback net code that got an update Tob is being added to it they adding Luc lucilius they added him last month I'm thinking Final Fantasy could totally do that and this is kind of like what this statement is Final Fantasy is a toy box there a bunch of different genres for where these characters can exist in a medium in gaming they got movies they got RPGs they got action RPGs they even have they have fighting games like they have ddia they have uh air guys I would love to see a 3v3 tag team versus Fighter for Final Fantasy like in Marvel versus Capcom Dragon Ball fighter style made by Arc system works I think the characters will look amazing animated that way like I would I just want to see like Final Fantasy characters in an anime form Final Fantasy can do what Grand blue is doing right now as they're expanding their their series into different genres oh and gr blue also has an anime go figure I think it has two seasons really it all comes back to that toy box I really look forward to what's going to turn up in my toy box says kace uh directors give their ideas and put new toys in their in his Box come on why you got to write it like that when I open it up lift the lid I think oh great there's something really cool and different here I really look forward to seeing how these ideas come out and perhaps the other toy that could be added to that box is Tekken 8 fans are desperate to see rebirths appear in the game as a playable character after all the martial arts expert is a perfect fit we've seen on social media that the fans are getting excited about that idea and it's so nice to see them getting excited about the character says kassin that's probably all I can say about it keep hoping folks well actually no katasi said that's all I can say about it keep hoping folks is a euro gamer he's not denying it right there and knowing from the discussion of that namura had with n about Nintendo and Disney and like having characters in DLC apparently namura was the the roadblock between have getting Sora in in a kingdom heart in Smash sorry turns out it was very easy for them to get the other characters but just like like nuro was very like stingy a little bit with Sora we all assumed it was Disney but apparently it wasn't this has been a huge topic since before noctis was announced everybody wanted Tifa and Tekken 7 then noctis came in to the fold and that's cool and all Tifa being the martial artist that she is throwing hands would be perfect in a king of Iron Fist tournament this right here makes it sound like they're in talks they're trying to see if they could work it out maybe schedule it I I highly doubt Tifa would make it in season 1 as much as I would like that I could see her being a season 2 DLC Edition and quite possibly being one of the most downloaded DLCs of all time probably behind Steve or maybe surpassing Steve I don't I don't think that she'll be able to surpass Minecraft Steve that character was insanely good at uh pay to win put rude and Tifa in teken well you just put Tifa right cuz rude is also a monk and then we just have the modding system and make tafa Bal there you go you got rude right there the TAA is great now but sa Sabin would be a cooler deeper cut yeah but he also wouldn't sell that much bro the reason why guest DLC characters exist is to sell a lot and Tifa is one of the most uh iconic characters in media history there's not a lot of people outside of the fin fantasy world that really know who Sav is if they're trying to pick somebody that everybody knows everybody recognizes and sell that DLC while also having both parties advertised then tafa would be the better option for that I think from a business standpoint I think from a re being a realistic standpoint right cuz I know I'm I'm the biggest like tafa fan but I'm I'm not even like just saying this because I am a TAA fan I'm just being real right now I just I just think that it makes more sense that way we're thinking small time time here guys we're thinking just Tekken I don't want these characters to just exist in Tekken I want them to remake completely revamp ddia make ddia you're not doing you're not doing justice desidia has not been good since PSP a grand blue style fighting game or Dragon Ball fighter sty fighting game for Final Fantasy and it works 3v3 combat most of the people use 3v3 teams like it's the party generally is well it's supposed to be four party members right in the OG games from Final Fantasy 1 to six it was four party members seven and eight switch is three nine was four and then 10 let you play as everybody in the battle which was really cool 10 was like yeah you got yeah it's three but you can swap anybody in at any time bro greatest greatest Choice ever I was kind of hoping re rebirth would do that just let like you know Barrett's on the sideline and I go into this battle against an enemy that's in the air let me swap bar in I mean he still attacks in the background but dude why maybe they're saving that for part three maybe I'm just ahead of myself they're saving that for part three when Vincent and Sid are there and ultimately that's the best of both [Music] worlds
