it's pool time oh no wait what is happening Andrew what do I do Bo mer you're spilling all the water that's not how you get in a pool why don't we try it again n quick somebody get some paper towels lift your legs up lift your legs up no both legs all the legs Boomer did no one teach you how to get in the pool it's super easy just run up to the edge of the pool and jump over the side piece of cake you can do it Boomer go a little faster it's just walking when you go that slow you're not going to have enough speed for that's just what you were already doing go Boomer you can do it okay we'll just give you a teeny tiny boost perfect finally in the water now we can have some fun Boomer I think you'd stay in here all day if you could but you can't keep spilling water all over the place every time you want to take a dip because if there's no water in the pool then there's no water in the pool hey I think I've got an idea the Boost we gave helped so maybe you just need a little boost all the time like a step stool or what about this table you just put your legs up here like so no what how maybe you just need a little time to practice here we go oh no why did he do that it was right there right there can you at least use the stool when you get out of the pool yes yes no no I know you just didn't like that stool cuz it's a table you want something better something special made just for you our special water boy which is why your dad is building you this puppy pool platform he must really want to help you figure out how to get in the pool ooh maybe he could make you a diving board too I mean this has to work Boomer why Boomer why I'm running out of ideas here my furry friend Boomer we might have to put the pool away if we can't figure this out let's try again oh good you're here I got to tell you something and it might freak you out the world is leaking I've seen the evidence with my own eyes and with my own face everywhere I go water spraying out all over the place like here oh oh oh oh and here oh and over here and there's only one dog who can keep it in the ground Nala and Nala is me I'll stop these leaks and keep the world from flooding even if it means drinking every last leaky drop myself how much water can it be like 300 bowls or something yeah that sounds right let me tell you how this whole mess started mom and dad and me were taking a walk everything was peachy when all of a sudden sploosh spoos water was exploding out of the ground it was out of control I tried plugging the holes with my Paws but every time I pounced on one geyser another appeared when we got home that night I thought that was pretty weird but I didn't really get worried until the leaks began appearing all over the place it was never ending in my own yard I don't think so where is all this water coming from I wondered who could be responsible for this dastardly crime so I began to do some investigating you know real detective work and that's when I noticed that the leaks were connected to hoses which were connected to houses including graas yourself my own house but that would mean someone was making these leaks on purpose and that someone was my dad I got to tell you I did not see that twist coming but it was all so awes obious now whenever I tried to warn dad about the leaks he was like Nala that water is just for making the grass grow or Nala it's so cute when you play with the sprinklers sprinklers huh that's a cute word for something so devious and you know what I think my mom might be in on it too because now that I'm on to them they don't even try to hide in from me they just blast me with the hose or they put their sprinklers right out in the open they even tried to convince me that this was a toy didn't well just wait eventually I'll figure out how these doohickeys work and put an end to all this leaky nonsense but just in case I better get a message to the president and I I know just the person for the job my friend the mail carrier I'm pretty sure she knows the president good morning how's my best friend listen my reliable letter carrying friend you work for the government right can you inform the president that the world is leaking and tell him to send plumbers lots of plumbers that should do it but until help arrives I must remain vigilant it is my duty my joy my purpose because if I don't well things could get pretty wet around here leak leak leak don't worry Nala is here Make Way for baby girl the pup with her own swimming pool and her own built-in doggy door baby girl you know that's not actually a doggy door right that's part of the pool's cleaning system you know it catches leaves and other stuff and she is using it anyway okay I guess it is perfectly puppy sized see perfect again perfect it's just perfect perfect for little dogs not to be used by people but baby girl's dreams have grown bigger than her pool and she's ready to tell you about it right now no you're in the middle of Surfing practice okay I got this have you ever heard of a place where the water goes on forever and ever and there's a million places to dig holes well so has baby girl it's called the ocean and baby girl wants to swim in it but the ocean is a lot bigger than her swimming pool and it doesn't have a single doggy door so she needs to prove she's ready for ocean swimming how I spending all her time in the pool training she's always practicing her swimming moves for when she finally gets to the ocean like avoiding obstacles in the water wa Giant Beetle alert also possible dolphin rescues fear not tiny plastic sea mammal baby girl will not let you down almost got her yeah just get a little closer okay grab that pin yeah yeah you got her don't worry little blue porpus she's coming for you too toy dolphins not actual size do not attempt to carry live dolphins in your mouth but baby girl knows the most important ocean skill she needs to master isn't playing fetch it's surfing whoa steady steady baby girl you're going to need Perfect Balance if you're ever going to tackle real ocean waves I mean you're almost ready to swim in the sea but you got to finish training before Oh no snow you can't do ocean training in this I mean technically it is water but it barely moves sorry baby girl I know you were almost done with your training but it's winter so the pool's going to be empty till it gets warm again on the other hand you were almost done training so maybe instead of waiting till next summer well we could just go someplace where it's still summer now I don't know like a sunny Beach W where did you get that shark suit and all this beach gear how long have you had this stuff I am not sure I have ever seen you this excited baby girl you're practically pulling us along we made it we're here the ocean get in there and show them what you've got you're do doing it oh I I see you brought your boogie board be careful okay remember ocean waves are way bigger than pool waves because your pool had zero waves like a total absence of waves and technically you never finished your training oh my gosh here comes a wave I I can't look huh well that was nothing I guess you every dog to enjoy the pool as much as he does come on little sis we're going on a cruise but believe it or not Thor wasn't always an expert at the doggy paddle that's right Thor remember before you had your own pool you were still a puppy on a trip with your family you didn't know where you were going but it smelled like excitement and socks there you were a dog who wanted to run who had no idea he was about to run into a lake ah what was happening but then you were swimming Thor was immediately in love he couldn't get enough but there was a problem this was a vacation remember Thor didn't live anywhere near water he was worried what if he never got to swim again he couldn't stop dreaming about his beautiful Lake that's when his parents had the best idea bring the lake to Thor have you ever seen a dog with his own pool good boy come on Thor show us your dive okay this was his first time he wasn't really sure what a pool even was yet he reached out one paw yep feels like water and then in this was even better than the lake it was all for him and his sister of course but mostly him it was all pool all the time there was nothing nothing that would ever change that but then tragedy oh no this is the opposite of a happy place it turns out having your own pool can't stop winter it's like Thor's trying trying to imagine swimming again in his pool Thor's parents loved him and they wanted to come to his rescue once again but you can't have a pool while it's snowing or can you what's all that racket in there what's going on Thor's like is that no it can't be it is a pool hi thought why is this door in the way welcome welcome but will he like it as much is the outdoor pool oh hey yep and now he wants to say thank you thanks for being the best dad in the world and building me my own indoor pool and can I get back in already and he's in his happy place [Music] again now even in the coldest cold let's go Thor can spend every sing single day [Music] swimming he's just floating all right cheats see you later you're a bad influence on my dogs who me okay I think I know the real problem basically ever since me and the fishy started hanging out Grandpa's other dogs have been a little jealous because they are not allowed in the pond I mean technically I'm not either but I just can't resist these Little Cuties shh Leica don't tell Grandpa please but real soon did that cat just is is that cat swimming girl and loving it good girl this is bowza and she's obsessed with water she's a seafaring Beach exploring swimming fanatic and again a cat but she wasn't always this adventurous Bowa used to be a pretty anxious cat she would run and hide any chance she got this was her idea of Adventure this is called a cat Bridge it's when the Cat is being a bridge but when her moms were about to leave for a road trip they had an interesting idea maybe getting out of the house would make bowza happy instead bowza was a little nervous but she was also a little excited what if it was somewhere awesome she'd never even heard of before when they finally arrived bowza was filled with curiosity what Adventure laid in store so her moms set her down in the forest and she was off he's going he's on the way she's on the move it turns out bowza was a natural Explorer soon she didn't even need a leash she loved the thrill of discovering the wild all the strange smells the incredible views and the wet white stuff so much fun but when they were home bowa's mom started to notice something else after all that adventuring Bowa seemed really into water like anytime her mom was in the bath she would stick her head in so they thought should we give it a try and as soon as she touched the water she started paddling and didn't stop now there was nowhere she couldn't go watching Bowa become so Fearless made her moms feel more confident if she could go from being a cat bridge to climbing a real Bridge they could push themselves to new heights too it was almost like bowza became their Mountain guide you can do it Mom they've even embarked on a new adventure together bike riding now they can go farther and faster than ever before when Bowa feels the wind in her fur she knows there's no feeling quite like being on an adventure especially with the people you love most in the world hi hello what are we doing are we swimming all right whatever where'd you go Pearl Pearl you bad girl a you want to play fetch why are you so cute PE okay go get it look it's Elvis the aqua puppy who's a good boy okay you're right he's not really a puppy he's a smallmouth bass a kind of fish but his best friend Rex likes to call him a puppy because Elvis acts a lot like a playful dog so just try to imagine him with floppy ears and four fuzzy legs but how did a person become best friends with a fish it all started one day below the surface when Rex noticed someone was following him we see you Elvis Rex had met many fish during his Dives but never one as curious as Elvis this fish kept getting close closer and closer to him and swimming circles around his head oh he's right behind you Rex it was like he was trying to figure out who or what Rex was in fact this fish was acting so friendly Rex wondered will he let me give him a little Pat he slowly reached out his hand who why wasn't this fish swimming away instead he started a follow Rex around he even tried to follow Rex to shore sorry little fish this is where we have to say goodbye Rex couldn't believe what had just happened surely that was a one-time thing right but what if it wasn't so a few weeks later he came back to the lake and Dove below the surface he looked all around wait is that could it be it was Elvis had he been waiting for Rex to show up they were both so excited to be together again no really this is what a fish looks like when they're excited trust me so Rex decided to take Elvis for a walk well I guess well technically it's a swim it's a walk swim then something amazing happened Elvis did the most puppyish thing yet whenever other fish would get too close to Rex Elvis chased them away like he was trying to be protective scram fish shoo shoo Rex couldn't believe it was Elvis becoming his own personal guardfish and were they becoming best buds which is when Rex got an idea what if he created a secret signal just for them Rex taught Elvis a special sound so that when Elvis heard it he'd know how to find him but would this really work the next time Rex went diving he made the special sound and waited and hoped maybe Elvis couldn't hear him here Elvis come boy come but then suddenly Elvis was in the building their secret signal worked Elvis had come when Rex called just like a puppy now you might be wondering how does Rex know this is Elvis don't all smallmouth bass look the same well not Elvis he's the one with the cute curled lip because there's only one Elvis the super smart guardfish who loves treats did we mention that part just another way he's like a puppy and each time these two meet it's like a brand new adventure one filled with watery walks belly rubs and plenty of underwater playtime see told you he was an aqua puppy if you're a surfer you better watch out because Charlie will steal your surfboard and then go surfing turns out Charlie is a surf dog it's started with a trip to the beach Charlie's Dad decided to sit him on a surfboard what happened next blew everyone away it was like he knew exactly what to do at first surfing was something Charlie did just to have [Applause] fun but then he got really into it it became his passion hug go all [Music] [Applause] day for Charlie gliding across the ocean makes him feel Wild and Free like anything's possible eventually Charlie got so good his Dad decided to enter him into a surfing contest a surfing contest four dogs wasn't sure how Charlie would do with big crowds watching surfing for fun is one thing but surfing to compete can be stressful so on the morning of his first competition Charlie's dad reminded him to just have fun but Charlie didn't seem nervous at all he's way into attention the bigger the crowd the more excited he gets Charlie's first two waves were really good but the competition was fierce and with one wave left to go Charlie needed a big one a wave that would carry him to Victory then in the distance he saw it the one but could he catch it when Charlie had finished his first surfing contest it was time to [Applause] celebrate but he enjoys doing regular dog things too and just hanging out with his family he also loves carrying coolers for some reason like a lot though it doesn't take long before the waves start calling again saying Charlie come back we miss you Surfs Up Charlie even helps other dogs learn to surf the more the better oops I guess not every dog's a quick learner like Charlie when Charlie was a puppy his dad would surf by himself but now surfing has turned into a family thing and brought everyone closer to together Natalia the rescue penguin is finally healthy enough to go back to the wild there's just one problem Natalia is afraid of water her Rescuers have never seen anything like it wild Penguins spend more than half their life in water but Natalia doesn't even want to get her feet wet poor little penguin natal was rescued only a few weeks ago some people found her all alone on the beach and she seemed really sick so The Rescuers took her back to their rescue center to help her grow and feel better they gave her a checkup then took her to their pool to feed her they figured she'd be the most comfortable there but she was not Natalia was so scared she was shaking she didn't want to be anywhere near the water The Rescuers weren't sure what to do they couldn't take her home if she was too scared to swim they needed a plan to help Natalia love swimming again so they decided to start small very small the smallest pool they could find but even that seemed scary she needed some encouragement from her Rescuers and then once she was in the water they fed her that way when she thought of water she'd think of food wait Natalia come back okay let's try again Natalia was still so nervous but she was really hungry too so she gave it a try with a little more help from her Rescuers nice job Natalia after hand feeding her for a few days The Rescuers put the food in the water so she'd have to dunk her head to get it Natalia looked around and yes you're doing great Natalia Natalia had made so much progress she was starting to love her little pool but now it was time to try the big pool again the one most like the ocean she peaked over the edge and NOP nope nope nope no way not doing it the rescuers didn't know how they were going to convince her the water was just too deep they would need some help and it just so happened that another little penguin was in need of a rescue Rosita just like Natalia Rosita was rescued from the beach without a family but unlike Natalia Rosita loved the water now the big question was could Rosita help Natalia love the ocean The Rescuers introd uced them and Natalia rushed in to say hello finally a penguin friend The Rescuers LED Natalia and Rosita to the room with the big pool a room Natalia did not want to go in but the second Rosita saw the water splash Natalia couldn't believe it maybe the water wasn't so scary she mustered up all her courage and jumped ah but then she was like hey this is kind of amazing finally Natalia understood the water wasn't scary water was where a penguin was meant to be her Rescuers were so relieved Natalia was over her fears which meant she and Rosita were finally ready to go home they took Natalia and Rosita on a boat to an Island full of penguins and got them ready Natalia and Rosita said their goodbyes to The Rescuers and in Rosita went but all of a sudden Natalia was nervous again maybe she didn't want to go she'd forgotten how to be brave she needed her rescuer help one more time and with a gentle push Natalia was home she was like oh right water I love that him the adorable cat loves to shower wait loves to shower that can't be right and yet that's exactly what it looks like this cat can't stop won't stop showering him I'm not sure if you know this but cats hate getting wet but you really don't hate it you seem to be perfectly happy in the shower I mean I guess it's not bad for a kitty to like showers but it is odd and I'm sure your mom would prefer to shower alone but right now whenever she tries to take a shower there you are tagging along maybe if we can figure out why you love to shower you can stop bugging your mom during hers maybe you just really like water so instead of the shower why not play in the sink huh it's like a shower for your hands hm you don't really seem all that excited about sink water hey where are you going and she's back in the shower well maybe it's not just the water itself but it's that you like being all soy wet for some reason o you probably love to swim pin let's try a kitty pool or a kitty pool if you will we got it just for you you'll probably be in here all day oh done already huh hm I guess you're not much of a swimmer either him where' you ah back in the shower again oh I know you must love the Jets of water shooting out at you all nice and soothing that's got to be it okay how about we try a sprinkler it's sort of like an outside shower this way maybe you won't track water around in the house with your wet paws all right here we go sprinkler time and go uh go Pim what you don't like your sprinkler I don't get it Pim you don't like pools you don't like Sprinklers and you don't like sinks you don't seem to care about water at all you just love the shower we have to figure out something Pim this is just not normal and your mom needs to have some peace in the shower it's almost like you don't even want to leave your mom for a second hang on maybe that's it maybe it's not the water or the shower Jets at all you just really love spending time with your mom and the shower is the one place where you can spend time together with no distractions usually no distractions just a Kitty and her mama and some duckies in a nice warm soothing shower yeah this looks really soothing okay there might also be some love for the shower itself I mean you did write your name on it and honestly this seems like a pretty relaxing routine you've got here Pim I mean look at you the full Spot Treatment I'm actually kind of jealous Pim you're not afraid to do your own thing you know what good for you maybe this isn't normal for cats but who says you have to be normal we love you Pim the shower cat just be careful not to get your fur all pruny it's okay Manatee Jamal's here to help this manate is in trouble he's too young to be in the water without his mom and he's feeling scared but Jamal the manatee rescuer knows just what to do he hugs the manity tight and he feels calm again finally the rescue can begin it's like the manatee can tell I'm safe now Jamal's team lifts him carefully onto the rescue truck and they get to work Jamal thinks this Manatee is only a couple of weeks old manatees usually live with their mothers for two whole years so this baby is way too little to be on his own Jamal gently sprays him with water to keep him comfortable it's not good for his skin to get too dry not only that he hasn't had any food in a long time and it's made him dehydrated so he needs to drink a lot he's probably thinking this tastes different than milk he might still be a little scared but what he doesn't know is that he's in the best hands Jamal has been rescuing manatees since he was 11 years old that's when he saw a manatee research boat for the first time he was is fascinated so he asked a question that would change his life forever I said can I come up with you guys would the scientists let a kid help them with their research and he looks at me and he's like ah kid let's go so Jamal jumped right in the scientists taught Jamal how special manatees are and how they're in danger they were studying manatees so they could learn how to protect them better that's when Jamal decided he was going to be a manate rescue were just like them he thought even though I was 11 years old why not me fast forward to today and Jamal's rescuing dreams have come true right now Jamal is feeding the manate he's giving it some rehydration fluids we have our volunteers on board and we're going to take this animal to be rehabilitated Jamal travels around with his team looking for manatees in trouble like this this baby who was only 2 days old when he was separated from his mother during a hurricane or this mama Manatee who got hurt by a boat when Jamal finds a manate who needs help he gently carries them out of the water so he can take them to his rescue center he checks them out so he can give them the care they need sometimes he needs to run tests to find out if there's something wrong he can't see but he spends a lot of his day doing this so many adorable babies so many bottles Jamal loves how curious manatees are it's almost like they're checking on him at the same time he's checking on them you good I'm good you good he loves how even though they're big they're so gentle and smart when he tracks them he can see how they migrate hundreds of miles to the same warm water every year Jamal has dedicated his life to showing people these gentle Giants are part of our community he wants manatees to live safely in the wild and that's why his rescue work doesn't stop here Jamal is teaching the next generation of manate lovers how to care for these beautiful animals because as he knows you're never too young to become a rescuer hi Jamal just just ask Autumn your job is so cool one day I hope that I can actually see manties I saw a baby manity picture and oh they're so cute what I'm doing is more than just awareness it's literally giving a space of another chance to be out there in the while where it should be one day these manatees will be big enough to go back to the Wild and when that day comes Jamal will stand proudly on the shore watching his friends Swim free one of the promises that I've always made to man was wherever I am and whatever I'm doing if you're ever in need I'll be there and that's a promise that I hope to keep for the rest of my life hey little guy do you know what you are you're a baby seagull who left his nest and got lost but you found your way to us and didn't want to leave until you were big enough to fly so we fed you by hand just like your mom [Music] would ow until you figured out you could eat anything you wanted you got a wood louse wow we didn't know how long it would take for you to fly but every day you did something new wait wait one second ah and got really good at squawking and after one week you started talking to other seagulls it was like you were saying wait for me I'll be flying with you soon after 2 weeks you were demanding people [Music] food that's a pretty grown-up seagull thing to do oh hey that's not food after 4 weeks your fluffy baby feathers had fallen off you were so much bigger and you started acting big you like to swim eat big fish star down cats and one day you did something really big you started to Flap maybe you were scared at first but we knew you could do it and so did they so we gave you a count of three one 2 3 you flew so clever you were doing so good oh jeez well no one ever said flying was easy 6 weeks later it was time you needed to leave our small backyard and fly in wide open spaces with the other big seagull who'd been waiting for you we knew we'd miss you so much you were our fluffy little guy but you were ready to fly as the big seagull we always knew you'd be P was too little to be on her own which is why Rescuers weren't surprised when they saw her doing this they knew it meant she was looking for milk from her mother just a few days earlier The Rescuers had found ilip Pica stuck on top of an oyster Trestle bed she was too little to be alone in the wild they could tell she needed help so they rushed her to the seal rescue center ilip Pica was small and needed a lot of milk so that she she could grow big enough to return to the wild but there was a problem her mother wasn't there to feed her that's when The Rescuers came up with an idea they made a pretend seal mother out of a wet suit that way ilip Pika could feel safe while she drank her milk and it worked so well that illi Pika cuddled up for a little nap ilip P was growing but she still had a long way to go before returning back home it was time for ilipa to start what Rescuers call Fish School step one pour in the fish step two plop into the tub step three catch a fish with your mouth she so funny to watch it e gobbling up all of that fish was making ilipa stronger and as she grew she started to get braver brave enough to defend her tub from the daily cleaning brushes she was like go away tall spiky monster you think I don't see you I see you out foul brush out I say are you trying to scoot me out I will live in here forever you hear me Forever The Rescuers knew all that bathtub bravery meant it was time for the next step of her journey seal school where she could meet other seals and practice catching fish in Open Water like she would in the wild The Rescuers wondered would ilip Pika be ready she hopped over to the pool but she seemed nervous to get in this pool was so much bigger than her bathtub and there was someone else in it yly Pica hadn't met another seal before but she kind of liked it she was like I think I could get used to this now ilip Pica spends her days learning how to be a seal from her new friends as soon as she gets a little bigger her Rescuers know she'll be ready to go back to the wild but while ilip Pica keeps working her friends are about to do something amazing many of them are at the end of their Journeys at the rescue center and their lives in the wild are just beginning as the other seals head back into the sea ilipa couldn't be happier because she knows soon they'll be able to play
