so where we stand and what are we trying to accomplish here besides just one well I know we got the tank fixed yeah we built a new tank it's got fuel in the bottom tank you've completely fill the top tanks got enough to prove it's not going to leak the things that I recall from last year that caught us out were running the boost pump with anything other than the idle cutoff lever pulled right back which will create a big flood of gas and the other one is to my mind is that what appears to be the idle cutoff is in fact a prop control garage yeah the prop control is near the violent way yeah it's the one on the bar exact a because I looked in there the other day and then the idle just make sure it's in our cutoff to put the boost pump on to get pressure for the timer and then kill then turn it off okay when you hit the master switch or the camera master switched you should have before that you have a low pressure light on the right-hand side of the panel as soon as you hit that fuel pump switch that should go out instantly okay I think that probably the micro switches for the gears are stuck so I don't mean I can't do anything that way yeah well I was so wrong on fly No yeah four runs good if you got right it around yeah okay you've got both brakes of there it'll need time to bring a cat in but you'll know all right okay come up all right well it'll be familiar we got a fire bottle and so they don't have fuel pouring out we ought to be safe to grant get them taxi around yeah absolutely all right yeah it'll be smoky slice like a lord and all the cylinders hun you a hater okay okay so I'll cut off and get the primer I got the fuel on you probably I don't got enough fuel in it I just pouring this yes wait now I have no clue six all right all right well we'll try that I can always pump more in if I need it yeah please Gottschalk Clare Clare don't like that what was off the booster yeah right starter's dead no no battery no combi well I was short and quit wasn't that the boost to be on no no no but I didn't have it on I could have it on no that's the door ring nothing nada like the batteries did is it connected well it's got to be connecting on of it yeah just a little lights going to come on over here I'm gonna push the buttons and nothing's going to happen okay ready good all right so got the light it's Meg switches over here not in the booster coils working but the starters not are you clear yeah oh there we go okay get the blue spot dirty switches maybe there we go I said it to be a smoky stuff nothing's there's a list but that's alright they're not too bad you know I don't remember I kind of remember it's the last time there's no tack tack zero oh Henry em yeah we fix it we sit and have it done yeah well Chuck did you hook it back up again did ya well anyway just double-check the I'll run it up but it's probably just that the you know I don't know what it is with the brakes but like you know I went ahead and I just kind of ran it when I had no tack I didn't know what kind of rpm I yeah I saw it was crazy but I can see with the boost I was I was at about minus four minus three boost you know so probably 22 inches or something like that maybe it was starting to creep yes I could never get it to zero but the problem is what you got to be careful of is when I first landed up I had it on the parking brake okay but what you got to do is if you run it up sometimes if the tails to light the tail will come up you got to be able to let the brakes go so the air will go forward so anyway so the next time I did light I was pulling on it and you saw that it was creeping okay so the brakes are creeping I think it plays lie that way they need to be scuffed up well that's what I was said to whoever I was doing to you they could be surface rust on the drums again then right walk but also too that was just I'm kind of getting from money with it again that wasn't about 80 pounds of grain pressure now maybe more brake - sure they would hold them I think it breaks a limited to a lower pressure than the rest of the system but it could be roll out it actually the assistant you know on the triple pressure garage the right and the left to go up to 120 but I only I went ahead and started taxing an 80 which saturd about right I kept watching it to make sure that I always have brake pressure down time to all radiant Ruffman and the 40 run so anyway max master fuel I guess you want to fly it then yeah also to there's a couple of switches to round a place the supercharger supposed to be in Auto and it was a man there anyway so but at some point you know will taxi around to get it get more familiar with it all before we ever get close to flying and I'll put the man your lap really cool real girl up fresh man I tell you what while I'm sitting here do I check the flaps cuz I still got branch yeah ready Jeff yeah they should be okay now suppression no but then you go down one at a time today not when they did that but you up go enough they should slam down as they better not go down now you it's a problem yeah you got that right that that will be part of the new annual I'll put it on the air bottle make sure they're working properly no I'd be great to get it flying again oh my god what's really so pretty when it's epic it's the best I know I didn't get any green lights on those though I already knew that from this hole they were loading up pretty fierce which is just enough again alright what did you say to me about the field pressure warning light right at the stop did it yeah it did or a didn't or it no as soon as you turn the master switch on it comes on and then I'm pretty sure pretty sure it went off I didn't eat stole my sneeze yeah that was good and the whole time I was taxing around the boost pump was a long stuff alright beautiful airplane all right so we got to run in on the Spitfire here it's been a while since we ran it again last when we did we found out there was a fuel tank leak up here which necessitated way more work than we expected but it was really great that we looked at it I think Andy says the carburetor was redone a couple of years ago and you know we were working towards getting the flying again how to fly in a long time there was some there was like an ad airworthiness directive on the landing here both that somebody had built this up with and that was the reason why we didn't fly it for a long time because it took a couple years to get the bulbs and by timely you know we had moved on to other things and then the airplane sat so anyway a year and a half a couple of years ago we started working on it getting the redoing all the hoses sent the carburetor out just did this run here I still don't have a tachometer for some reason wreath familiar familiarizing myself with the airplane I have flown in a very long time I'm ashamed to say it's such a beautiful airplane collection we got to get a flying again so hopefully sin
