House of Prime Rib is one of San Francisco's staple restaurants. They've been open since 1949! For the holidays, they are decked out with decorations! The leather seats are super comfy! You can even see the fireplace from where we're sitting The menu is pretty simple You choose the cut of prime rib you'd like and the sides Now let's start dinner with San Francisco's famous bread. Sourdough Bread - butter Fluffy with the classic sour taste, I like it with a big slab of butter! Started off with their classic salad I hope they never change it because it's one of my favorite salads! They use their own housemade seasoning and dressing It's so popular that I see other tables buying their seasoning salt and dressing to bring home! House Salad - apple cider vinegar dressing lettuce, beets, hard boiled eggs I loved the salad so much that I asked for more salad and the server gave me a very generous helping Delicious! Now let's get ready for the main reason we're here! The English Cut - three thinly sliced prime rib For the sides, I chose Mashed Potatoes and... Cream Corn, which is not listed on the menu but always available. They age their prime ribs for 21 days! The English Cut was super succulent as it soaked up all the au jus! Next up is the big one! King Henry VII Cut - extra - generous thick cut of bone-in prime beef Another potato side option is the Baked Potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chive, and butter. To try all the sides, here is the Creamed Spinach The King Henry VII Cut is literally an inch thick! So juicy and tender! If you like your steak with some heat, they offer horseradish I love mine with the mixture of medium spicy and spicy horseradish. So succulent and flavorful! Tip: When you finish your prime rib, they'll give you a bonus thin slice if you're still hungry! More sides too! You might be quite full at this point, but don't miss out on the dessert. Monster Chocolate Cake - raspberry sauce, whipped cream It's a whopping seven layer chocolate glory! The richest and most decadent chocolate cake I've had so far! Thank you, House of Prime Rib!
