Spending 100 Days Building LEGO Minecraft…

see this is Minecraft and this is Lego you put them together Lego Minecraft or you get this Minecraft LEGO brick I'm a Lego builder as well as a pro Minecrafter and today I'm gonna attempt to spend 100 Minecraft days building a Lego Minecraft world a Minecraft day is 20 minutes long meaning that 100 Minecraft days equals 33 real-life hours timer starts now all right 33 hours might sound like a long time but when you build stuff like this that time goes by insanely fast and here's my game plan first we need to buy a bunch of the official Lego Minecraft sets since they're quick to build and look okay this is an item frame how boys we're heading to Target and that will lead us into our second step where we attempt to design and build a custom Lego Minecraft set way cooler than the official Lego ones and it'll act as a centerpiece and connect all the sets together to form the ultimate Lego Minecraft world also if you're down for a challenge I challenge you to comment down below how many creepers you see throughout the entire video I arrived at Target and saw the iconic red balls oh my God I saw a rabbit oh I've totally not seen this before we have to get the rabbit let's cop some horses they added red creepers to the new update Well turns out everything I wanted wasn't at Target so I quickly stole all the sets and booked out the door for Walmart I bet the speedrunners pay for things [Music] and more nether stuff all right although we stole all of this and totally didn't pay for any of it we have somehow passed the budget so we need to get home and build now what do you think I'm gonna do now that I'm home with Legos build them wash my hands store the sealed sets in my house so I can Flex or aggressively chuck all five boxes on the ground way too many times for one clip foreign so we got all the sets here let's crack them open this is not gonna go well the knife is back I knifed opened the box and got building on the horse stable it has these really nice horses and whatever this thing is we have a nice little Western standoff over here between skellymand and this random skin that no one has ever used before we'll donate it to the speedrunners good horse my fingers were pretty much warmed up for the next 30 hours so I challenged myself to build a rabbit abomination in under two Minecraft days oh it was light work I like how we build Minecraft houses like this and then Lego just releases a massive rabbit they clearly understand the minds of Their audience but I finished the rabbit set it has these cute little rabbits this one's got Hops and this exploding play feature to teach kids violence I mean I'm technically a kid and I'm already violent so this is right up my alley guys I'm not lying I literally tried to decapitate baby Yoda the other day the speedrunners are jealous of my aim wait wait wait wait hold up I just noticed this rabbit isn't actually a house where am I gonna live in this world where do you live okay time is winding down and we still need to build three more sets in a custom thing so let's get to work so I finished building the next set and it's gonna come in so clutch later in the video it has four mobs and a baby chick we're gonna win this challenge for him so the next set is this nether one and it has netherrite armor yeah we have netherride armor the rarest armor in the game on just day 10. beat that speedrunners you guys got nothing on me and my molded plastic now we have a portal and we can finally conquer the nether watch out speedrunners now for the final set we have the Warped Forest it has a pretty cool look at hogland don't eat my pets it has a TNT some glowstone and another Minecraft skin that no one has ever used before we got the piglens the better version of the zombie piglens I still want to murder their entire colony the deed is done okay so I finished building the Warped Force that's some nice team trees representation and now that all the sets are done we're gonna try and arrange them together to see what we have the world so far okay so now we're gonna attempt to range the whole thing into a world okay so something you could quickly discover about Lego Minecraft sets is that they all have a weird shape they're basically built like my spine but also they aren't square like normal Lego base plates but they can still interlock like a puzzle if you position them correctly that was my goal now I formed the Overworld bit pretty smoothly but that did not last for long with the nether I mean kind of try and match up that water oh I really like how that looks and now we have to get this thing to go in no that'll know horrible um this was not going well and we still have so much to build so after a ton of trial and error and no no bad that just elongates it breaking these sets I just broke it I finally found an orientation I liked I'm just gonna lie I like how this looks We're Gonna Roll with this for now it took us three hours to build all the sets so now we're gonna design and build our own custom Lego Minecraft set to add to the world I've built a bunch of custom Lego cruise in the past for like Spider-Man Harry Potter Star Wars this other crappy game but never anything Minecraft related so this is gonna be crazy now looking at the world I don't really see a livable place I mean I could live in a rabbit but that's kind of weird so I decided to build a Decked Out Minecraft base where me and my Army of pets can live and destroy the speedrunners so I hopped on the craft and loaded up a new world we are going to challenge ourselves to design the base in under 10 Minecraft days it is day 15 right now and we're gonna attempt to have this done by day 25. okay so the first thing we need to do is find a good spot for our base done so on day 15 of the challenge I cleared out this land kill the sheep and started working on a fence to cage some Pets the next day I built a staircase and started laying out the bottom floor we're gonna use wood pillars because we're basic and we're gonna have to build a lot of Lego wood pillars after landing on a weird L-shaped design I started elevating the first floor and adding all the necessary details honestly this is looking pretty good so far I built a slab ceiling above the first floor and started making great progress on the second floor more wood pillars anyways the speed ran the rest of the exterior added some random details here and there glowstone boxes an inclined roof some foliage bushes a bunch of lanterns for lighting and a shovel to dirt's path because we're ripping off the villagers design this part is actually gonna be sick to build in Lego oh I also changed the patio design to a checkerboard wood pattern we're 22 days in I finished the exterior but we still have the entire interior to go so we gotta pick up the pace okay we're gonna design the first floor interior as a work room with all our Minecraft Essentials it's gonna be pretty cool I use stone for the flooring but I switched to a checkerboard Stone pattern because this is going to be so much cooler to build in Lego but aside from that the interior was designed as normal a lot of furnaces a lot of smokers that did not sound right a stone cutter some stock chests these random utility blocks that only serve one purpose a toilet and some bartending toys for apple juice okay I think this area looks pretty good now it is everything you'd want I just noticed we're gonna have to build all of these in Lego form which is going to be kind of hard to design and now we have to make the enchanting Zone Oh shoot no no no no no it's not centered aligned holy oh what can I do this is triggering my OCD yeah my enchanting table wasn't centered aligned and it was literally the end of the world so after some thinking I decided to use two double trouble I bookshelf it all and ran upstairs away from my problems this is gonna be a bedroom but the only issue is the door is right there meaning that visitors are gonna walk in on us sleeping I quickly built the entire bedroom bed here bed here and some barrels some plants foreign why is there a creeper right here oh man [Music] okay it's day 25 the second floor is pretty much done I have no idea how I'm gonna build these paintings and a lot of other stuff in Lego but it's time to switch to the real bricks okay I started off with 32 by 32 base plate and started elevating it all and I used brown for the outside of the first layer so that once I topped it off with green plates the brown would be in the middle layer and it would look like it was built on grass blocks but over here I used dark tan tiles instead of the green plates so I could build the shovel dirt path leveled with the rest of the ground and then I built the fence the staircase the checkerboard wood pattern which looks amazing with tan and dark tan tiles but now we need to lay out the house unlike the Minecraft designed we're gonna build the interior first so that later we don't have to rip apart the entire house just to build the first floor guys is it weird that I want to rip into it even more now no okay after laying out a simple shape with green plates I grabbed some light and dark gray pieces and got working on the checkerboard stone flooring I made sure to include some studs sticking out among the tiles so that I can place some items and Minifigures okay now we can start decorating the interior I grabbed all of the official Lego Minecraft craft blocks I owned this is not going to be enough and place them in the appropriate spots okay now there's a problem since we ran out of blocks we need to design some of our own Minecraft utility blocks to fill up the space firstly let's build a cauldron or toilet as I call it I used a simple technique using these bricks with studs on the side AKA snot bricks as well as some tiles on the side and some round studs to represent the water one block down a lot more to go alright for the next few blocks let's have a Twist I'm gonna challenge myself to build them in under 30 seconds okay let's build a brewing stand 30 seconds go okay I built a simple round base using a stutter and a round piece and used a yellow rod for the middle and then build three Spencer's using arm pieces and cones and attach it all together boom brewing stand yeah I need some water okay next up Blast Furnace Lego has never made an official Blast Furnace design so this is gonna be crazy oh I have a really cool idea so I built a simple base and added two snot bricks and these pieces allowed me to add event to the side to capture the iconic look of a blast furnace done then I built another blast furnace the grindstone what does this actually do in Minecraft as well as an anvil that I modified with small pieces to make it damaged okay now that we've added those in we need to work on the walls I quickly decided on the design I wanted to use all right for the wood pillars we're going to use these dark tan masonry bricks and stack them up like this [Music] strips Spruce logs which technically isn't accurate to my design but we're rolling with it anyways I use this awesome detailed Stone technique which utilizes a ton of small pieces and these awesome masonry bricks and I just kept doing that over and over and over oh I also added glass pieces in the middle but after repeating that process 500 million times and patching up the top and building another wall on the side it is time for some more interior details I built some custom item frames because the Lego ones are ridiculously oversized and I designed two of the iconic Minecraft paintings I also added torches for some light I don't get much of that but I ran low on dark tan pieces so your neck is already toast so goodbye Sandman he lived a good life okay now with the reinforcements let's build the second floor as you can probably tell we've already strayed away from our original design quite a bit and that didn't change with my next idea wait we should add an overhang balcony that would be so sick to do that we need a 16 by 16 plate mine is currently filled with pieces time to destroy my fingers okay so after clearing off the plate I assembled a large enough shape and built the fencing for the balcony I added a gate to the front so that Steve could jump off and practice his MLG water bucket okay so the design for the second floor exterior is pretty much the same as before the strips Spruce pillars the overly intricate Stone design the inset Windows except this time it built a custom door for the entrance that actually looks like the iconic Minecraft door and not whatever this is that they have in the sets do better Lego oh wait we should probably build the interior first so I had some carpet built two red beds red beds are Elite double bed I built some custom barrels and I designed the rest of the Interior the couch the Stacked bookshelves the Jukebox to crank some tunes Minecraft Minecraft a furnace for a midnight snack and some TNT because I did not know what to put in this spot and it looks cool that was a hard creeper to kill let's hit the hay ah shoot okay I got back to quickly building the walls light work now that we have some more exposed studs on the side we can add some item frames I love how these looked now we have to build the roof and deck out the entire build with Mobs I do not have enough pieces of any color to build the roof and I've already destroyed all my mocks but luckily after some heavy searching and force donations from sets I gathered enough Brown bricks for the roof well not enough but I've strategy to work around that so I laid out a shape and got building on the staircase roof and Oh shoot no guys I've broken a Lego piece yeah of course it was the sacred color of brown R.I.P my friend you'll be missed but it was all smiles and rainbows from there wrong wait I think we just destroyed another oh mic we have lost another Warrior our Brown Lego pieces made of glass or something why are they so fragile guys I don't care how much time is left we are finishing this for broken piece number one broken piece number two and the baby chicken we're going demon mode quickly finish the roof I've been placed it on the house all we have left is to deck out the house with mobs in more details and we are running really low on time so I grabbed every Minecraft mob I own and slowly the whole build came together I built a tree with wood Stripes accurate unlike you Lego a totally normal amount of space for our pets I also added a bunch of colorful flowers and plants to make it all colorful and realistic and I attempted to build a custom fireplace okay we got the frame and oh this is way too small that's better and I did not know what to build here so I decided on a crop Farm I barely had enough studs for this but luckily the sets I built earlier had some extra pieces which came in clutch they did it for their lost Brothers we got a little skeleton duel going on and a dirt tower that we previously jumped off from and became past tense boys it has taken 70 Minecraft days but we have finally designed and built our own custom Lego Minecraft set a large Minecraft base featuring a ton of mobs two Decked Out Interiors a roof and a bunch of other awesome stuff [Music] okay but now it's the most important moment it is day 99 and we are entering the Final Countdown it is time to connect our custom set to the Lego ones in order to form the ultimate Lego Minecraft world let's make this chicken proud all of our work comes down to this for our lost soldiers for the forced sacrifice for the surgical removal of many sets for the baby chicken all right we're in position it's happening perfect yes after 100 Minecraft days oh wait
