you ready here with Extra Ordinary athletes and we're at the Spartan Race let's do this extraordinary style I mean [Applause] hi everyone you're on your way Extra Ordinary athletes here helping you fit fitness into even the busiest of life and we do so by offering tips quick 12-minute routines and fun fitness challenges with you extraordinary athletes so be sure to check out all our playlists but we did something a little bit different today that's right we're at the Spartan Race and we have some sick footage of it so you can enjoy it but if you're a beginner out there you're a little bit nervous don't be nervous at all try these new fun challenges people are really welcoming and wonderful and it's great to give yourself that challenge and it doesn't matter what your skill level from beginner to pro everyone should be challenging themselves and I definitely noticed this with people training you become a lot more consistent and dedicated to your training regimen when you're actually training for something and having that extra bit of motivation for months can really change the way that you perceive and even approach your workouts and sometimes the results can be significant so just pick something it can be a 10k if you're into running or it could be a Spartan Race if you don't mind getting a little bit money you will feel so good once you accomplish what at first seems super intimidating and before we start with the montage if you're considering an event like the Spartan Race here or quick tips for you tip 1 do your research check out the events website to make sure you know where you're going and everything you need to bring with you tip number 2 is to train for your event so if it's going to be endurance train for your endurance if you're going to do a strength event then focus on your strength tip number 3 don't be afraid of failure remember everyone is super supportive and you're only competing against yourself tip number 4 pick an event that's appropriate for your skill level Spartan Race is great because they have three different races ranging from beginner to advanced so with those four tips in mind sit back and enjoy our venture into Spartan territory 30 burpees your chest touch the ground you go off the trail not yours [Music] yes Reseda [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] she is not getting what she wants to do the men's bags come on [Music] like mountain goats like wounded elderly mountain goats [Applause] [Music] [Applause] how look I was almost cut up you pick up a bag and you carry let's go don't be wimpy yeah that's right I have a camera and a bag this guy's complaining about a bag 20 pounds this is the next obstacle [Music] [Music] let's go kitty [Music] yes [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] yeah that's the only thing [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Laughter]
