all right all right guys welcome back to smash ultimate summit three we only have two more matt potentially three sets two more matches and it's gonna be uh it's gonna be some good stuff man we got mk leo and spargo man fighting out to see who's gonna be the highest place in uh mexico representative yeah but also man just a lot on the line for spargo man like he he came here to show up to like really like hey man this wi-fi stuff ain't just wi-fi i'm really that good yeah and first of all top three is already amazing yeah right but if he can push it even further and over mk leo yeah yeah i think for me i'm so excited because you know obviously like in smash 4 especially it was like heavily pushed like we just you know japan japan japan we love that region america for japan i was always somebody who thought just just mexico central america in general latin america like i love that region i think there's so many talented individuals down there obviously leo meister now spargo coming into form i mean they have people like cloudy as well like the i feel like the pool of talent down there is just as deep and i want to get that more explored as we we enter this new era again and i think right here sitting before you just obviously two of the game's finest yeah absolutely man and like yeah people need to put some respect on mexico bro look i am tired of seeing that honestly in a ton of smash games these guys have been very very talented yeah and we see it time and time again you know i think the japanese players are great a lot of people are super joking japanese players all the time right but you gotta gotta respect these regions of these people all around and right now we have two of mexico's finest right now in the losers finals we're about to have a damn good set all right leo told us this is the moment we are waiting for finally the king has put on his crown we are over to the joker i don't know if he's played it all weekend and now he's deciding to pop it out now the question is is it rusty is it prepared he said that if he lost game one he'd probably just end up going back to aegis so we'll see how things go i mean you got to be one confident son of a that just broke out the joker when you saw how spargo dispatched to zachary earlier you know what i mean like you have got to just be feeling you know i'm still the best one out here exactly bro so be able to follow that up too hard try to go for that bear which would have been a nice setup for some vertical uh damage but unfortunately we get that rebel guarded through and look at these low gun guns which is so good i love the attempts of the guns into the counter not enough though all right i think he's trying to line up that back here yeah on it again all right that's so weird as long as guns seem frustrating to deal with uh you're just getting popped over and over obviously you can use foresight on them which we found out you know but even still back throw all right yep not not yet paleo it's all about positioning man okay all right this is big chris fargo great opening and now gonna go ahead and bring out pyro try and maybe steal this stock away doesn't have to worry about the combos now exactly all right speaking of combos though he's got a couple of his own well being held on this platform and now it's bounced around fargo trying to step it up pick it into another drive and he's doing just that maybe joker can it be the spark leo needs to get this offense ignited once again i'm gonna need something good yes the coverage from spargo right now he senses the blood in the water the bullying technique that we generally see from joker and arson combination not really much of a threat right now yeah he's not really getting anything off of it arsene is not on the table finals against tweek yes okay positive he wants to find his way back up there and beat him meanwhile spargo trying to prove himself on the biggest stage he's ever been on take out the number one and potentially number two player on the planet yeah so by the way i mean we're at game two and we still see joker true i think he's he got he he they stole that he's more confident in this character than i think he let on he's definitely been running him in some intense friends there's no doubt about that but you know aside from against riddles man spargo has been all about the pyromithra oh lining up barrett to another up here good damage i definitely like you know i feel though even though he says it's rusty yeah yeah i mean man we don't know what's going on in hotel friendly right yeah they're not live for a reason let's see how fargo deals with it keeping out mithra trying to knock it away but he can't even get a hit oh okay yeah i could not do that for free man you know what's funny he has extensive experience doing that against pokemon trader because of tweet yep so like he is ready for the transform he's already primed yeah so obviously not too far behind to get themselves back to this game especially on pyro seriously you know what's fun we talked about it earlier that like leo doesn't get caught by weird stuff like that cheesy stuff goofy stuff and here's fargo is kind of rewriting the book you know what i mean like that normal get up that timing layout just standing up into it that's not very characteristic up there the thing is this crazy part about this is obviously you know leo was going to be going for the three feet here and he might actually get stopped oh there it is oh okay almost a little bit of a reversal yeah spargo well prepared good dash tag yeah i was gonna say if fargo waited and turned that around i would be screaming oh yeah all right so now it's fargo down a stock got some decent damage here we'll go swap back to the uh to the neutral demon herself mithra get a little extra damage before we try to finish this thing off with pyro most likely or potentially another f smash here at the edge like i mean that's how you get that first stock that was nice oh like i like that i haven't done that yet yeah gotta watch that looking for a lot right now oh my god just the fearlessness that leo is playing with yeah leo's not afraid of this at all yeah almost got our scent too he wants to use it as soon as possible i can't get up there though okay still found his way in with that forward here though super nice like knowing that that uh that side view was coming out he's like you know what i already got this again leo trying to get this arson back as quick as possible these rebels are both of them both times have been called out this game sure okay we will be crucial to get that joe uh sooner rather than later check around the corner yep comes joker the difference maker perhaps but these percentages are pretty high you have to know despargo's thinking okay pirate can get the job done just as efficiently too if i get one good meaty hit and here it comes perhaps oh my goodness the spacing was gorgeous and our scent is gone i thought that was about to be the lowest up here in the game however okay that's so good like the way he spaced around our scene he was falling right in his face he was literally in front of him daring leo to swing i have never seen someone dispatch of arsene or at least deal with it as efficiently as what spargo is doing right now and obviously a lot of that goes to pyramid or just how the character is designed but damn it ain't something to say when it goes up against leo yeah all right man the code is off bro he's like you know what i got to take go seriously now we're going to see former day layout versus spar goat right now we don't know because he's sticking with the joker yeah he's sticking with the jar he really does not want to do this ditto yeah remember what we talked about before yeah pg stats said that it is more likely that you threoleo then you win off of 2-0 it it's that leo is more likely to come back and win this okay it's just it's in sync all right well i we about to take the stock oh i thought that was wanted to be a down smash however though get some extra damage there with of the down throw up air and now i mean obviously [Music] on purpose or not but regardless he's still got all the control on his side on this third game trying to go for the reversal but not there in time okay yeah trying to scout out that jump doesn't give it to him now here comes sparkle on the side of the stage yeah man i mean is it too little too late though he's already hurt on this uh second stock but you know crazier comebacks have happened yeah he's still going to be able to rack up some decent damage here if he uh wins the neutral and a couple exchanges which he is doing right now good stuff the quick 40 percent does he try to steal it here we go i mean pyre is yeah yeah no that was coming and look at that he took another stock again with a very healthy arsenal yeah this is looking really good he's gonna step back yeah and now he's beginning to scout out a lot of these places against man he's been really great at that i love the full hops being bears i'm gonna get all that damage yes sir yeah a little bit of embers left full advantage getting it down here but can't quite convert it i like the option there true but leia was ready for it okay i'm going for it yes they're gonna get the ko though unfortunate oh wait now he's awesome okay that should have been a hard but that was an f match for the game yeah and the trade not going to be favorable for mk leo however it doesn't matter he comes right in there and finishes that game it was not even a bit of his not in jail nope i think that was instant all right so the joker getting the job done the faith in the character never wavered and he gets rewarded in game number three and now guys i start i start to see where those those pg stats come into play because all tournament bro we've been talking about game four layout it's almost a gimmick right it's almost a game so that fifth game could very well be looming i i it is it is absolutely insane leo is more likely to reverse three oh you than you are to win a game he has the best like macro refresh rate i've seen out of any top player and it's incredible even against even in some other games right like it's incredible how he can just sit down just collect himself and reassess re-strategize and just make happen yeah sparkle's gonna have to kind of tap into that man because yeah it seems like every with every game uh well leo's getting more and more warmed up you know he's going up one more level don't give me too much time now stella what's up stella's in the building stella pretty girl that was a dog all right so here we go uh currently on game four might be time for the game for leo i don't know man it's uh it's a thing for a reason it is definitely a thing for a reason staying with the joker uh clearly um yeah i mean i the only other character i feel like he'd play right now if he was getting absolutely washed would be by lift but yeah i think so too but like now he's i mean these are some really good games between him has no reason to even think about swapping off spargo on the other hand man could still bring out the cloud we did see it earlier so here we go still on ps2 really really good if they go for double bears just because they're usually drifting forward so make them whip that up b bro he landed and then got to punish himself yeah like uh it wasn't fastball landed and still got his own punishment oh nice all right okay all right okay leo there we go getting some good damage here oh nice just kind of reset the situation too not trying to force the issue just let it develop naturally up there forward there yup taking it up dead even 72.4 on both of our competitors all right yeah the switch back and i think one of the uh things that we're seeing here that's cause for mk leo's success is he's almost making sparkle kind of afraid to use uh pyro for too long sure yeah every time he goes pyro he just takes three or four hits he's just racking up damage for no reason and it puts this him in this really uncomfortable spot where like do i have to stay mithral game that does not seem optimal yeah yeah i mean i think to be out like his best his best chance is definitely staying mithra until he gets a clear advantage or a clear event advocating situation where pyro could like shark yeah for like an up air or something like that because yeah though the pirate is definitely not being able to uh keep pace with mk layout right now true but the mithra has been able to get that damage yeah no question neutral such an important factor especially when dealing with somebody like leo and just giving yourself or losing any kind of advantage in that situation not what you want to do and leia i think leo actually kind of gets a little giddy when he sees the fact that he's kind of bringing out pyro as opposed to mithra oh yeah things become a lot easier for him yes sir upset up 30 yeah it is building 60 percent now in spargo and you know he's watching that meter like a hawkeye spot dodge didn't want to swing the bear man you should be the move all right fun game yeah fun game 87 percent now once fargo hit off the side good boy that looks funny all right he's going to take a small hit from this ib kind of a label but he still managed to make it work i like that man the fade back on that was this chef's kiss man yeah too good yep here we go not for leo is not a joke this is not a meme this is a reality this is a fact and for leo it's a it's a constant that looks like it's going to propel him to a fifth game okay hold on now all right now you're reaching you're reaching and you know what i guess though because you kind of have to get back in this game as quick as possible against mk leo especially with arson on well oh wait wait out there he said my turn though i got those two he's really making him think he's safe and it's just not just at all he's just putting his fargo positions like spargo is never comfortable and if you think about it not only is game four leo kind of a classic him capitalizing off the last few embers of that our send too right always able to quit how many times have we seen him yeah just connect the back error up there to just finish the stock off right before it okay yeah like he got to find the right youtube song or something yeah is he really going to reverse 3-0 him i am you know it's absurd it is absurd to kind of even think about that but i mean for leo it's not even just about that rematch with tweak right like which i'm sure he's eager to get to he has a chance to be the only the sole winner of every single smash ultimate summit we have had to date that's a good player that is also what's on the line this is another trophy right exactly for his legacy i mean that is a dynasty i mean god damn the warriors with kd and steph couldn't even get that done he got hurt he got hurt i don't care i couldn't even get it done sports yeah yeah all right i like sports me too sports pretty cool really uh kind of just took off from third game on and as fargo he is looking a little lost here but hopefully he's able to find some answers yeah as we get into our fifth game to determine who gets to play against tweak you know mk leo was just seating with revenge and spargo is trying to prove himself here man just two great story lines uh all together coming to an end right here right now you know i thought we were on smash bros because it looked like they picked that in the player cam but it looks like we're on battlefield instead all the other games have been played on ps2 and remember leo did say that he felt like battlefield was their best stage so now he's got to fight against it let's see what he has in tow spargo has been so amazing throughout this tournament man i i you know and for both these guys i'm big fans of both so it's just hard for me uh to have to accept that one of their tournament runs is about to come to an end it seems like leo is the one with the momentum but spargo has been a consistent threat throughout would not put it past him to rally and take this pivotal game five man this kid he has been on another level all right so with that being said man we are very okay i was gonna say we're very close to lee's getting this first stop off mk layover right oh oh i gotta get out of there yeah only 66 delivered by leo he's in a bit of trouble i thought he had to do it though again like that was exactly we're talking about man like you have to wait until you have this situation where you can swap to pyro safely and just finish the stock off the next interaction because like as he's been playing if he plays pyro on the field it's not great but if he plays pirate in these little uh slotted positions like that yeah then yeah he's he's paying off big time wow i'm sort of being reminded of what happened to genesis 7 one of the last tournaments before we went away where mars won just by not letting leo play the game he shut off the stocks quickly and by catching that forward air it takes out an entire stop from leo before he can even get to a hundred the longer the game goes the better leo gets more doubt doesn't get that double wow okay dribbling dribbling i actually know where to go skip to my lou man ridiculous good stuff here you can get for the down tilt inside getting on the center stage for opportunity one of the big things that you've been talking about right layouts is continuing to apply pressure even though he's getting this low arsenal live through that arson and it's so crazy because most players be sweating bullets right now leo doesn't care if it's pirates you know what i mean he's not scared of the down air he's not scared of the fort air he it welcomes this challenge and i think one of the reasons is because he's never shy never shies away from the moment as well yeah that's just something he's equipped to spargo as good as he is he's still kind of maybe new to situations of this caliber right this is his first summit he's never been in a situation like this oh situation he found himself couldn't script it any better game five final stops on each let's get it now the thing is i i do think sparkle needs to be a little more conservative where and when he's switching because like the last three switches leo's gotta punish off of it yeah and so you gotta be a little bit concerned about that wait wait okay yeah that was a weird air dodge from leo not characteristic oh my goodness oh oh you see the point yeah stopping the fair all right this is for the chance to go to grand finals they play against tweak now they are but also i mean i'm sure there's a lot of pride on the line between the new and old guard and a lot of money and a lot of money for sure okay big bros out all right what do you do here if you're spargo uh you whittle down at this oh you died oh you're gonna don't know you are dead and you die it is not your time man that torch man it's it's right within reach it's right within reach but you gotta jump a little higher says mk lego yeah he's not going to hand it to you just yet you got to take it the future not quite now old man right now it's too early every time man mk leo perfect with the down ears like that's that's what pyro's looking for yeah but i mean we forgot about the original down here oh smash right there bro that's the one he's been away for a little while man because you know the funny thing is it's easy to forget how guy like his joker was because he didn't feel comfortable playing it during the online era but you know we are offline and leo is definitely back to form but nothing but respect and kudos to spargo yeah he was an absolute beast throughout and yeah very very earned and well deserved third placement an incredible run honestly 19 it might have went up a little bit because this is this is a pool oh cheat that i got like four hours ago so he got at least 19 000. you lied by the way you said if you lost you were gonna go you were gonna get off joker yeah yeah i was to be honest dude the first game you saw i lost first attack that was playing the way i lost second game yeah dude i was literally about to kill him with fear and he felt my fair one yeah yeah like that's tough that's just unfortunate so you felt like you know those weren't like i got outplayed you just some unfortunate smash he's still really good yeah like it was really dangerous i mean i uh i've been practicing with him of course we're staying together in the hotel room so uh i don't know i just feel hard because he knows how to play me and i know how to play him yeah and like i played that character right that's why no that's like super dangerous i actually do think that that matchup is not really good for joker he wasn't hurting me at all good thing because i believe hard is basically what destroys him yeah i think this this tournament has been a good measurement for like kind of what we can expect going forward and like where the talent pool isn't shaping up do you feel like because i we all collectively agreed you feel like fargo's like one of the best in the world like oh he's got you know i do i mean man he literally got no experience yeah he just came from being a wi-fi warrior man he is going to be the best in like six months i'm calling it all right yeah that's what we're saying that is the highest level of respect you can get yeah we were saying like one or two years he's like taking over the world yeah he is gonna insanely good like i don't know if he thinks about it but like just the way he plays like instantly he's really good right yeah like everything he does seems to work really well yeah like even when i'm playing against sam i'm like yeah
