Sophia Bush Confirms Ashlyn Harris Romance as She SLAMS 'Homewrecker' Allegations

the bonus of this whole journey is that I spend every day around a person that being close to is like getting shown on by the sun oh I love that it's pretty nice I want that for all of us I want people to find the right room Sophia Bush gushing about her romance with Ashlin Harris I do feel lucky the actress also slamming all those home recer allegations I am the most excited about the future that I have ever been and I don't feel like I owe anything to anyone Sophia is glamour's April cover star and inside the mag she opens up about her relationship with the Soccer Star which she says came unexpectedly after being in the same Circle for so long I didn't expect to find love in this support system I don't know how else to say it other than I didn't see it until I saw it what I saw was a friend with her big happy life and now I know she thought the same thing about me whether it's you know my life partner or the wonderful group of men in my life who make up my friends and allies who make up my support system if I have a a real group of good ones sopia and Ashlin first sparked dating Rumors in October following the end of both of their marriages in August the want Tre Hill star filed for divorce from Grant Hughes when I looked at my ex and said when was the last time you and I laughed alone together and we couldn't answer the question it was kind of like what are what are we doing as for Ashlin she filed for divorce in September from fellow Soccer Star Ali creger and right away Sophia says she felt the Judgment the online Rumor Mill began to spit in the ugliest ways there were blatant lies violent threats there were the accusations of being a home wrecker the ones who said I'd left my ex because I suddenly realized I wanted to be with women my partners have known what I'm into for as long as I have so that's not it y'all sorry it's funny because people who pay attention are like yeah we know all my fans who paid attention are like yeah I mean we've watched her like date women on camera forever we knew that wasn't the first time she did that and I was like thanks guys yeah Sophia gets more candid about her sexuality and glamors we need to talk series I just think I know what I like I know who I like is there a label that feels more at home for you is it bisexual is it queer is it lesbian is there or maybe it's none of the above but is it for for you for me I I think it's queerness when you are a person who lives in the public eye everybody wants to pick over everything and that can be really tricky and now Sophia doesn't care what people think and says she couldn't be happier living in her truth I feel like I've been wearing an 80 lb weighted vest for probably a decade I was sitting at my house with my best friend talking about like feeling excited oh sorry I didn't think that was going to make make me emotional um feeling excited about the future I love that she's unafraid it's my job as her best friend to protect her as well because she really is the most wonderful human that's Sophia's want Tre Hill co-star Hillary Burton last year she told ET she's all for her bestie's new chapter what is it like to see someone as r or die as Sophia in such a great space I think being able to celebrate every chapter of loved one's life is so important and that even means like the chapters that are awkward or the chapters that maybe didn't work in the past whatever is coming next like I'm here for it and that's exciting cuz she's held me in some dark chapters and so for her I want to celebrate the wins and I I want to again like protect her at all costs that's a good woman [Music]
