Sonic Frontiers Speedrunning Tricks: Sidestep

I've gone over a ton of Sonic Frontier speedrunning tricks and skips on this channel but I haven't even told you the basics of how speedrunners move around funny enough speedrunners never level up speed because it's a complete waste of time I can't stand this guy luckily for us when you have power boost by having full Rings you move at a speed that's comparable to Max Speed anyways but we can go even faster than that sidestep is how we achieve this when you're holding sidestep you maintain your speed as long as you don't get knocked into the air by random terrain but what makes it faster is you can still increase speed while inside step meaning that downhills and dash pads increase your speed without burning any boost sidestep also makes us faster in cyberspace although it functions slightly differently sidestepping into Dash pads increases your top speed and can stack but unlike open Zone when you sidestep against a wall it actually pushes you a tiny bit further making it faster than just boosting if you thought this was cool consider dropping a like And subscribe have a good one
