Turning on subtitles you can see the creator changes the name of Link every time he screams. Eventually resulting in it being,"Zelda screaming". 3:00 for those curious

At 1:01 he puts the sheika slate on the pedestal and at 1:21 he gets the slate back, 20 seconds.

Compare this to the current world record with the slate on at 4:21 and being back in control at 4:56, 35 seconds.

They in fact underplayed the agonizing wait to get the rune.
