Solar Shade Openness Comparison

hey this is Josh with blinds comm with a fresh look at solar shade opacities now solar shades are a great choice for areas where privacy is not a factor but cutting out some of that heat and some of that glare of the Sun is they're great for blocking UV from fading your furniture or even just plain blinding you or reflecting off the TV you'll notice they come in different levels of opacity on our website you'll see everything from 14% down to 1% now what that means is 1% will black out 99% of the UV 14 would black out 86% and so forth right here we have a shade that's been put together with a 5% a 3% and a 1% the cool thing is with 5% you can still see quite a bit through there it's going to block 95% of the UV 5% is by far the most popular for both residential and commercial applications but if the view is not quite as critical and that Sun control is you might want to consider going up to a 3 or even a 1% and you'll see when you look through them what's happening here it just means that the fabric is woven more loosely here and more tightly here I have a client with a hair salon that had originally put in five percent and what they notice is although it was great at cutting back the glare at night people could see just a little more in than their clients were comfortable with so they opted to go with a 1% it obstructed enough of the view at night to keep it relatively private but block out a ton of Sun during the day so you can still tell that people are getting their hair cut but not necessarily who they were their hairstyle or their stylist so it's a really great choice for them and for a commercial application but you can see how that might work in a residential application as well it's still going to let some light in offer a little bit of privacy and kind of a little bit of everything but again 5% is going to be by far the most popular shade that we offer thanks for your time this is Josh and with a fresh look at solar shade opacities
