This is the 2nd day I've posted this guys videos here. For me this channel is a really satisfying mechanical version of Primitive Technologies. Really enjoyed what I've seen so far.

Also I never knew how much I wanted a lathe until now!

not gonna lie, i was kinda let down when it wasnt going as fast as the candle powered setup. lots of effort for such a small result. also youd have to continually move the lense every now and then since the suns movement will move the focal point. cool proof of concept though.
