yo what's going on guys R gaming here back another video today's episode we are taking a look at the arms Warrior for phase three of season of Discovery so just to note this is more of a beginner's guide this is not necessarily for super Advanced players but this is mainly going to be like a quick start guide to get you up and going for phase three so let's go and jump into it first things first we're taking improved heroic strike to reduce the cost of your heroic strike ability by three rage points up next we are taking improved Ren so increases the bleed Damage Done by your Ren ability by 35% going to put five points into tactical Mastery so you retain up to 25 of your rage points when you change stances so you don't lose everything two points into improved overpower increases the Critical Strike chance of your overpower ability by 50% one point into anger management increases the time required for your rage to Decay while out of combat by 30% three points into deep wounds which is really strong your critical strikes cause your opponent to bleed dealing 60% of your melee weapons average damage over 12 seconds Five Points into two-handed weapon specialization increase the damage you deal with 200 melee weapons two handed melee weapons by 5% two points in to impale so increase the Critical Strike damage bonus of your abilities in battle defensive and berserk your stance by 20% five into axe specialization increases your chance to get a Critical Strike with axes by 5% one point into sweeping strikes your next five melee attack strikes an additional nearby opponent one point into Immortal strike here on a 6sec cool down a vicious strike that deals weapon damage plus 85 and wins a Target reducing the effectiveness of any healing by 50% for 10 seconds and that will complete our arms tree we're going to Fury here so Five Points into cility increased your chance to get Critical Strike with May the weapons by 5% so if you pair that with something like ax specialization you're getting 10% more Critical Strike just from talents alone and that's going to synergize pretty well with impale here right so increases the Critical Strike damage bonus of your abilities um and all of your stances and it will also scale pretty well with your improved overpower right then finally unbridled wrath here gives you have 40% chance to generate an additional rage point when you deal melee damage with a weapon so that's it in terms of talents let's jump into runes really quick so this is going to be the most controversial part of this entire guide is taste for blood there's not enough data out there right now to really make a good call on this um I tried to look things up on different guides I tried to watch other videos nobody has a real consensus on this yet that I've personally found but I have found some comments on here that kind of state that they think that Ren is going to be a useful ability for us in this phase so just to read over taste for blood here whenever your Ren ability causes damage your overpower ability will activate for 9 seconds or one attack this effect will not occur more than once every 6 seconds so this is really our only option to take vigilance and shield Mastery are not going to be for arms so we're not going to take either of those we'll probably talk about this a little bit more in our rotation but it sounds like blizzard is wanting to Force some sort of a Battle Stance swap into our rotation so we had it last phase right whenever overpower would proc we dump rage we would swap over to overpower or swap over to Battle Stance and then we would use overpower but we only did that if overpower proced it looks like now we can kind of enforce an overpower to proc with rent so it looks like to me they're trying to really set that Battle Stance swap concrete into our rotation so that'll be interesting to look at down the road but we'll talk about that more in the rotation for chest rooming we're going to be taking flagellation and gain a 25% bonus to physical damage done for 12 seconds after activating blood Rage or Berserker rage in the wrist Rune we're going to be taking Wrecking Crew your melee Critical Hits enrage you increasing the Critical Strike damage of all your attacks by 10% for 6 seconds so pretty passive there but uh nice bonus to get hand run we are taking endless rage you generate 25% more rage from all the damage that you deal it looks like in the waist Rune we are taking precise timing slam is now instant but has a 6C cool down in the leg Rune we're taking frenzy assault while wielding two weapons your attack speed is increased by 20% and foit Rune of course we're taking rally and cry granting all party and raid members within 40 yards 15% increased health for 10 seconds all right so let's quickly talk about the rotation here so the main priority right obviously you want to get Max stacks of suer armor this might not be you right it might be somebody else who applies Sun armor but that's going to be your main priority is to communicate that and who's doing this the ther armor right from there you want to make sure demo shout is up on the boss if it's not already debuffed here we're going to use blood rage to activate our flagellation and what we're going to do is we're to alternate between a blood rage and Berserker rage to keep us you know in some sort of a rage as often as you possibly can so if one's down try to use the other and remember flagellation is our chest Rune here so gain 25% bonus to physical damage done for 12 seconds after activating either blood Rage or Berserker rage but from here this is the part that's kind of up in the air and you know hopefully some some good Warriors in the chat can help us out here but we're not sure if we want to add Ren yet or not so last phase right when overpowered proc we' swap the Battle Stance there's a big Macro for it that can make your life EAS easier to instantly cast overpower than slot back to Berserker stance but one thing we may be adding this phase is Ren and the reason for Ren is obviously we have improved Ren which is nice but we have taste for blood here so whenever your Ren ability causes damage your overp power ability will activate for 9 seconds or one attack this can only happen once every 6 seconds so I think what blizz is trying to do here is they're trying to work a Battle Stance swap into our rotation and they're also trying to work Ren into our rotation as well since Ren can now control we can now control with Ren when our overpower procs so for this if it turns out that Ren is garbage and we don't end up using it right for this priority just take this portion out right here just this four Rend portion and that becomes your prior again right so depending on how Ren ends up playing out and of course right before you do stance swap you will retain 25 rage due to our tactical Mastery here but you want to try to dump as much rage as you possibly can before you do uh stance swap so you don't lose too much rage all right then the rest of our priority right slam on cool down we'll mortal strike on cool down we will Whirlwind if everything else is off of cool down and then if we do get above 80 rage we will be hero broke striking and then of course in our execute phase right execute will take priority over pretty much everything we'll want
