So Important... First Time Reaction to Five Finger Death Punch - "Wrong Side of Heaven"

hello and welcome back to my channel my name is Stacy and I'm so happy to see you here today if you are new to my channel I am a twitch streamer I am a cat's Mom I'm a world traveler I am a weeb I am a nerd I am a geek and I love learning new things and the entire purpose of my channel is for me to broaden my horizons in the realm of music and listen to songs bands and artists I've never heard before so in spirit of today being Memorial Day I asked uh my patreon and I asked my Discord what they thought would be a good Memorial Day reaction and so today we're going to be listening to Five Finger Death Punch and the song name is Wrong Side of Heaven I've never listened to FiveFinger Death Punch before this will be my first time reacting to the band in general so I'm really excited to discover a new band today so just a little disclaimer before we begin I do not have a musical background so if I say something that is musically incorrect please feel free to correct me in the comments but also please be nice I am learning and you guys have been the best Sensei I could have ever asked for in this journey and I just want to say before we begin this video is dedicated to all active duty members veterans anybody in the military anyone who has served thank you for your service I personally have had some family members in the military myself so I deeply appreciate your sacrifice so thank you very much this video is dedicated to you guys all righty so let's just Dive Right In [Applause] [Applause] [Music] I spoke to God today and she said that she's ashamed what what have I become what have I done I spoke to the devil today and he swears he's not to blame and I understood cuz I feel the same Arms Wide Open I stand alone I'm no hero and I not made a Stow right or wrong I can hardly count I'm on the wrong side of Heaven and the righteous side of Hell The Wrong Side of Heaven and the righteous side the righteous side of hell [Music] so right off the bat um a lot of emotion a lot of cold hard facts just in your face I appreciate FiveFinger Death Punch bringing this to light uh veterans issues it's always a thing um especially in the US I don't know about other countries but it is a sad situation for many veterans it is quite unfortunate some of the things that they do have to go through and how they do feel discarded how they feel like they don't mean anything even after serving their country it is quite Brave a FiveFinger Death Punch to bring this out to everybody in such a creative way with this music video with the statistics I feel like I am being talked to at the same time as I am listening to this song as I am listening to the lyrics and everything there's a lot going on visually and emotionally so let's keep [Music] going I heard from powerful oh my gosh I I've never heard something like that before that is so interesting and lyrically just beautiful dang I I should have brought some tissues anyway I'm loving this music video it's really sad man it it's sad just what happens to these veterans um obviously it doesn't happen to all of them but it is a significant issue and again I commend Five Finger Death Punch for bringing this to light and I'm so happy that in this music video you know you do see people helping each other out especially people who were in the service together like I I just couldn't help but get emotional with this man right here uh helping out his former Soldier or friend I've seen it firsthand from my family members who have served how close they are with their brothers and even their sisters who have served with them they have really have such a bond I can't even describ so that just brought me over the edge a little bit it showcasing this Bond like this like they would do anything to help each other is so beautiful to me it's such a beautiful camaraderie but yes this is a very powerful video but let's keep going let's finish it [Music] out h [Applause] [Music] oh was the song over I didn't even realize it was over I didn't even know the song was over I thought we had two more minutes that was bad timing on my part I apologize wow wow so many organizations wow you know I know not all of us are in the military not all of us have been an active duty member in the military or served their country or anything like that but at the end of the day this is a very important topic this is all very relevant and even though we ourselves may not have served we may know someone who has served we may know many people who have served whether it's friends family members neighbors acquaintances we all know someone hi YY youu My Cat Knows I am sad so he's coming to say hi all I have to say is really after watching this is thank you thank you for all of those who have served uh who will be serving who are serving and all of those who gave their life for their country and for me to even be able to sit here and watch this video and talk to you guys I wouldn't be able to do it without you guys so thank you I that's all I can really say is thank you and if you guys are willing and able to support all of those websites listed at the end are I think an incredible resource to support veterans and I will even list some in the description box it is Memorial Day in the US so what better day to uh give to our veterans than today like I said earlier I have family members in the military currently and I had family members in the military I had my grandfather in the Navy and I have a family member that was in the Marines and I currently have a family member in the Navy as well so this topic hits close to home I have spent a lot of time around people that served in the military or are currently serving and there is like I said earlier a special bond a special camaraderie that they displayed so well in this music video This is my first FiveFinger Death Punch video and song that I've ever reacted to on this channel and it was great I really liked it I love the lyrics I love the musicality the lead singer has a very powerful voice like very powerful I enjoy it so much but the lyrics of the song are what really got me this is a perfect song to picture yourself in a soldier's shoes the lyrics are very powerful they say I'm not made of stone I'm no hero right or wrong I can hardly tell I'm on the wrong side of Heaven and the righteous side of hell I heard from God today and she sounded just like me what have I done who have I become I saw the devil he looked a lot like me all of these lyrics are just mindboggling you know that I I can picture myself on the battlefield being a soldier just so conflicted as a human it seems like such a tough job to be a soldier and again like I commend anybody who has been in active duty who has served thank you guys for your service again I cannot thank you enough like I said before there is a special camaraderie and there's a special bond between people who serve together in the military oh God I'm getting choked up again God I cannot I cannot keep it together and I have and I have personally seen this bond in person again with my family members but I saw it through this video everyone who helped a soldier in the video was another Soldier someone who was with that person in active duty or another veteran that is so powerful to me I again they displayed it so so well it just goes to show you that I think anyone who has served in the military will do anything to help up their brother in arms they will help their comrade they will help their soldiers they will help their veterans they will do anything they can because they have this special bond that I don't think I can even put into words or even describe because I think it is very special and only they will get to experience it you can tell they absolutely care about each other that they help each other when they can they they assist each other they are always there for each other and I think this video is to show that even people like me who have never served have never been in the military can do a better job at helping them as well the visuals were heartbreaking but also I have to talk about the statistics too the statistics were equally as heartbreaking there is so much to say with those numbers there is just so much information with those numbers and there's so much that can be done I'm going to be honest here too I never knew that these numbers when it came to Veterans and military personnel were that drastic and that high I never knew and so it it's just mind openening and emotional and in a way in some ways I feel guilty you know I I'm just like I cannot believe this is what it is and I know this video came out 10 years ago so maybe the statistics have changed but just the fact that these were the statistics at the time and even if they did get better or maybe they've gotten worse I feel like there is always room for improvement especially for veterans and I think another thing that gets me is just so many people that lost their lives being so selfless and for helping others like me to make sure people like me have the life that they have it is so selfless and it is so beautiful and I cannot thank you guys enough who have served seriously thank you all so much I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself and I'm blabbing right now but I am an emotional wreck as you can see and there's really no words to describe the Gratitude I have for all of y'all who have served who will be serving or who are currently serving just thank you from the bottom of my heart and again this video is dedicated to you thank you for your service and I really like the song I think Five Finger Death Punch is uh very talented I want to listen to some more of their music for sure I really like the lead singer's voice and they definitely have a way with their lyrics their lyrics are very very powerful and not only that but I can tell that they care I I commend them for making a song like this and for putting out a music video like this and just caring in general I think it says so much about them that they made this video and this song and they put it out there for everyone to see it says a lot and so I would
