Snap-on KRL1033 tool box tour

okay guys got another toolbox tour for you today so this is my friend caleb's snap-on krl 1033. it's all black with the purple trim on it let's get into it so up top he's got the hutch caleb what do you what all you got in the hutch uh basically we've got a magnetic contact switch on the 5 foot led strip 32 inch monitor with keyboard and mouse pretty much just basics everyday stuff gloves scanner and you got the fat lip on the got the fat lips stainless steel stainless top oh yeah so back here on that stain on the power top he's got the the outlets built into it got i think 13 to 14 110 outlets and four usbs with built-in circuit breakers sweetness all right what we got in the top drawer here top drawer lots of snap-on looks like lots of snap-on we've also got a mix of other stuff too uh basically kind of flows from quarter to half as best as i can basically we've got deep and shallow quarters here we've got some rbrts some triple squares um you know your micro ratchet here with the different bits all right um quarter inch drive gun we've got ratchets electric ratchets tap sockets e torx your hex i've got a whole row of adapters here and swivels basically regular torques you know swivel 3 8 your shallows we've got some you know fuel filter oil filter cap sockets axle nuts basically the works um three eighths to half inch okay the uh torque wrench here is the tech angle 15 to 300 foot pound digital how you like that thing um i love it actually it's really nice especially for torque and head bolts and stuff okay um we'll go down to the wrench drawer and both these top drawers are full length and i love that that is a nice feature it is um basically not a lot in this drawer we had to kind of put some pry bars in with their um standards half moons uh 12 points six points i've got your extended swivel offsets so what sizes what size are these big ones uh basically 21 through 25 okay 24 21 22 24 25. yeah really nice for like alignments and stuff basically after that we've got the fire drawer here kind of a little bit of a mix match but it gets the job done we've got some craftsman evolves over here some ver irwin vice grip brand channel locks your different style vise grips you know oil filter pliers these uh exhaust hanger pliers are really nice those are hot ring pliers the hose clamp pliers um this drawer here is just kind of like a miscellaneous got some tap and die kits some pipe wrenches we've got serpentine belt tool stretch belt tool nice this is kind of like the hand tool drawer here we've got the torx drivers in the corner there some phillips screwdrivers straights files radiator hose picks your regular picks your seal removers trim tools do those seal removers work pretty well i've never actually used that set they do um it's a lot nicer than trying to take a pick and tearing up a an o-ring or something [Music] moving down we've got basically we so the vacuum that's really nice um i haven't got to use that as much as i like but it's actually air powered um it's really nice for like when you're trying to pull spark plugs or something you know you got a bunch of crap around the spark plug getting the debris out so it doesn't go in the engine right some pulley pullers noid lights um the usb powered soldering iron which is actually really nice that's awesome i've never seen one like that yeah that way you don't have to keep charging with butane and stuff just an electric switch that uh you can charge with the usb port here so it does it have to be plugged in or is it got a battery in it nope it's battery oh okay sweet yep very nice tool infrared thermometer an air hammer uh got these long chiseled bit and a basically like a punch type bit those are really handy yeah that they are and the pickle fork attachments um this drawer here is the drawer that i think everybody's got oh yeah um nuts both screws you know plugs caps fuses basically anything that you need that you would normally find laying around the shop try to confine it into one drawer um this one down here dial indicator i've got an inner tie rod tool um this snap ring kit is actually really nice these are push button release so basically change them from internal external those are sweet yes what brand is that this is mac okay yep there's basically small medium and large you've got your straights 45s and your 90s in each size all right really nice kit now you were telling me about this this white boar scope looking thing you have let's let's hear the story on this thing this is actually for um like an obstetrician basically checking out um vaginas baby stuff yeah vaginas so it has been sanitized i promise but it's like a single-use thing so they just throw it away each time yes it's single-use they throw it away afterwards because of you know obviously yeah contamination and can we see the screen on it real quick i mean it was actually pretty impressive it's not too shabby the uh the camera is not very flexible itself um got to put the battery pack in here that's i don't know i'd say probably four inch you can kind of see like the leds in here yeah i mean that's pretty good does it have a light on the end or no it does actually okay and the thing i was thinking about this is like that's a lot smaller than some of your other borescopes and that could even fit in like a glow plug hole right it does yeah it's a very very tiny stem on it it gets in a lot of places and you can kind of rotate your camera around as well oh that's a cool feature yeah so so it's like rotating the tip out there exactly yeah okay cool um it actually came with like vacuum ports and stuff because i think they there's a certain procedure i couldn't tell you what that is but it requires like i think water and vacuum for whatever reason like for cleaning interesting yeah but uh then we've got like the steering wheel puller kit here heat gun dial indicator and stuff just kind of some random stuff here all right the paperwork drawer that everybody's got as well for you know miscellaneous stuff this is usually my electrical drawer it's not usually this empty i usually have my meter power probe test light um all that stuff's at the house currently so what kind of meter do you run i run a fluke 115 and i really like it because it's got like your auto ranging feature you know and stuff like that so you don't have to you know if you're just in a hurry you don't have to really think about what setting you want like what range you want to put your meter on so basically turn it on and go um come down here this is kind of like another accessory drawer i guess you know you've got your grab claw you know uh wire brush these are really nice too especially if you're trying to do like a parasitic drain test and you can uh like compress your door switch if you want to leave the door open if you got to climb under the dash check fuses and stuff like that yeah i've never actually seen that that's pretty cool yeah where did you get those internal and external um i got these i want to say from napa don't quote me on that okay that's been probably close to 10 years ago whenever i bought those i got you um this drawer here another miscellaneous got some super glue razor blades you know sharpies keep a couple extra fuses and relays down here and you've got to keep some extra fuses for the fluke meter oh yeah mine's blowing right now yep that's right um this drawer here i have a lot of these drawers actually another miscellaneous charger some broken tools that i need to warranty out clutch alignment tools uh some manifold gauges here that's pretty much in that drawer keep some of the bigger caps and stuff come to the other side this one here fuel pressure tester um quick disconnects your spring disconnects um inline spark tester stethoscope that's a super handy tool i think a lot of people overlook the stethoscope yeah yeah it really is comes in handy for you know a lot of um diagnostics you know engine suspension you know all kinds of stuff bearings bearings yeah hammers we've got the little bitty soft hammers these are really nice for like installing seals if you can't really find the correct seal installer got the carpenter hammer um some dead bros ball peen um got the rubber mallet the mini sledge and a brass hammer i like this hammer it's one of my favorites because i like to use it for beating on my tools like my pry bar ends and stuff try not to mushroom them out real bad the hammer takes the beating instead of all my other tools that's a good point so this drawer here got some cut off wheels air ratchet um a stuffy 3 8 fuel impact the saying is super handy gets into a lot of spaces and i think has like 250 foot pounds of torque yeah things really impressive really impressive for a for a 12-volt got some drill bits in here just miscellaneous stuff um this is another milwaukee kit that come with different bits your magnetic holders and stuff for all your other drivers yep cool really nice got a couple carbides in there this drawer here this is normally my snack drawer to keep all the necessities the food the torch and this is actually the box for my scanner which is actually the autel mx808 really nice scanner for the price if you just need something to kind of check codes clear codes you can monitor live data it does certain service functions like abs bleeds and you can relearn like throttle actuators um you can do all kinds of stuff power balance tests stuff like that so and i think it runs around like 510 bucks or so it's not bad not bad at all for for what you're getting so that's pretty much it i mean other than the necessities you know drinks coasters oh one other tool i see up here what's this this long thing you got up here behind the monitor this is actually a flashlight it's kind of handy for whenever you need to kind of bend around a corner it's also a uv like checking ac leaks and stuff like that it bends you've got your flashlight on there i don't know if the camera pick that up and then it's actually adjustable too you can kind of dim it down i don't know if the camera caught that yeah that's pictured up right on and it's got like a holder put it in any position you need it to it's magnetic so it's pretty sweet pretty handy um i don't use it a lot but the few times that you need it you know it does definitely come in handy oh yeah and these are actually kind of nice too these magnetic mats so you're trying to just do a quick job throw that on a fender and you don't have to worry
