i know that i will be asked if i downgrade no i don't but if you'd like to here's how to do it welcome to gamer poets [Music] [Music] if you are currently enjoying a modded anniversary edition game don't mess with this wait until you are ready to start over and perhaps even ready to remod depending on what you've modded some of those things may also be undone in fact doing a fresh install of the game of which i have a video on may be the best route to take before attempting this you've been warned open the unofficial downgrade patcher page files manually download the best of both executable this allows you to keep the anniversary edition content while still reverting back to sc double-click the executable that was downloaded make sure the file path is pointing to your game folder use the folder icon if you need to change the path when you're ready start patching give it a minute close going forward you need to use the 1.5.97 version of skse you know how to install and use skse because you've watched my video you won't be able to use mods that require the latest versions of skse itself update preventionist open the game folder create a new folder name it skyrim se backups copy and paste the binkw62.dll [Music] in skyrimse.exe into it if the game ever auto updates just copy these two files back into the main game folder and overwrite as another precaution you can open steam right click the game properties updates set automatic updates to only update this game when i launch it if you ever want to go back to anniversary edition open steam right-click skyrim properties local files verify integrity of game files let steam update the game and if you're still not satisfied perform a clean install of the game by watching my video on how to do so thanks for joining me by calling gamerpo it's wholesome hotline you have agreed to our terms of service 1.99 will be charged for the first minute 499 for each additional minute if you aren't satisfied upon climax an additional fee shall be charged to create a personalized tutorial on how to reach modding satisfaction may the bella guide you [Music]
