not the way I wanted to find my equipment and not the way I wanted to find out about it [Music] all right guys I just pulled up on a job site I hired a crew to come and cut this Timber I bought and uh I rented a my log skidder and uh I got a report from the landowner that the crew had done some damage to fence on his property and hit an electrical box which made me come down here and investigate and I found this tree crossing the skid Road and as we walk down this Trail here we're gonna see just exactly what this Cruise uh path of Destruction looks like so needless to say they've been you know asked to not come back but I'm here today to clean up the mess unfortunately and uh it's a sad State we're in I used to be able to hire good guys all the time and um this is the kind of help we get Now in America we haven't incentivized our workers to work and we've shipped everything overseas that we can and this is what I what I found immediately upon walking down the skid road this morning beautiful big Bur Oak Tree I mean a stud tree but there's my my skitter you saw this in a video not that long ago so here's my skidder unfortunately it was not treated with the respect it deserved so there it is so we're going to get to work here cleaning up this mess and uh you know I'll have to make things right with the landowner for whatever they smashed they have insurance that's one thing they do have so at least it shouldn't cost me that much but I'm still embarrassed that I even would consider hiring people that would do this kind of work so the first thing we have to do is Mark off these trees so that we can Buck them into logs and get them out of the way so we can get to the skidder to flip it back over it's uh it's a pretty simple process you basically look at the size of the tree and the grade of each log and you try to turn the tree into into as many valuable logs as possible maximizing the value of each tree come on all right we got a Mark we're gonna make a few Cuts put this skidder back over [Music] [Music] wow foreign [Music] hahaha [Music] so this uh 592 XP I absolutely love this saw and um you guys see me run it in the videos all the time but I do have a question uh for anybody out there that runs these things this thing when it's cold it doesn't start at all you know it's it's a hard starting saw I've got to pull it probably 10 times to get it to start um is everybody like that or is there something wrong with mice off from the factory please if you guys know anything about it please leave me some comments because uh it's it it irritates me that I've got to pull it so much to get it started when it's cold once it's once it's warm starts first pull but that you know in the in the morning uh it just seems to take way too many pulls to start [Music] ah [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] okay so we got the choker off the log we're gonna pick this log up move it over there then we're going to come in here and pick up the back of the cab of the skidder and tip it back over probably uh you could you probably should be over there [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] he's back well done so well done oh yeah huh hell yeah okay so the fella that was doing the workout here told me several lies the last week that he worked for me so I didn't know if when this getter tipped over if they had shut it off or not and luckily he must have pulled the kill switch or the machine died and uh we didn't have any engine trouble I was afraid that maybe they left it idling or running with it on its side and could have done some bearing damage or or something because of you know lack of oil going where it needs to go in the engine but upon flipping it back over it did start right back up I spent about four and a half hours completely cleaning this machine and um I checked the fluid and every gearbox on it and by the end of the day we were skidding logs again so uh it was a you know a total waste of time you know something that could have been easily avoidable not even not even reasonable what was going on here this is a small tractor you shouldn't be trying to pull out a 800 or thousand foot log with it but nonetheless um you know we got the machine back to where it needs to be and uh you know it's running it's running well and um moving forward oh we're gonna try that don't bet our Cutters a little bit better I guess is what I would say and uh thanks for watching the video please like And subscribe see you next week
