Sketchbook #5 Tour

hello hope you're doing well um i just finished my sketchbook and everybody on my instagram has been asking for a sketchbook tour so i figured i'd finally go and do that um before you ask this is an elo sketchbook i think this one's the 10 by 10 one personally it's a little bit too big for me i kind of like a smaller sketchbook but great paper unfortunately it doesn't work well with watercolors which was my main medium before i started using it now i mostly just use the markers that i have so i highly recommend it i really like the sketchbook and it's super satisfying to sketch on so i guess we could just get into it this is the cover page i had to record it because i forgot to cover up my information and i don't really want to put my phone number and email out to the world so um here's just like a little introduction thing the date started and the date finished which took considerably longer than i was expecting and um some goals and that's about that here is the first page i actually drew out most of this at school while i was like done with assignments and stuff i actually that's a good shoe i'm getting sidetracked um cool page i like it sorry that's my dog you can hear him in the background um this is my first oc that i actually stuck with their name is colton i'd like to point out that it starts off a little bit rough and it gets better obviously but like i'm still pretty happy with how this one is especially those shoes and the legs okay um here's adam [Music] um i don't really know what to say oh i have these these are fun [Music] i'm not really going to show those these were a little bit more like a personal thing so i could go back go back and like reference them i never i never even finished charlie's i i got angry with this and then i just didn't want to keep going but i still do i like that a lot it's cute but you know just oh okay there we go there's charlie's i never finished it i'm gonna skip the next page because it's not a drawing that i did but it is really cool and yeah here's my it page sorry there's a lot of glare i remember being really proud of this unfortunately his face i don't know what happened i'm so upset about that like i was like i colored it in and then i try to fix it and it just progressively got worse i was so mad i was so mad wow those are rough i still like this a lot though especially those three right here they turned out really cute and here's this this is cool um that's about that this is funny because i i never really started drawing stuff on this side of the page until recently um here's a couple random things i kind of just stick in here and these [Music] sorry um okay this is when i got into scott pilgrim stuff [Music] um and this right here this stick i turned this into a picture i can show you what that looks like in a second i do not like the side of the page it is bad but this is cute and this is cute but they were both from the scott pilgrim book so i do not take credit for that but wallace is obviously my favorite character he's just really relatable i love him um here's some be more chill stuff [Music] my boy michael oh this is the sketch that i did first whenever i wanted to do watercolor stuff i had to do it on separate paper and then stick it into the sketchbook which was really annoying at first but i started to actually like that a little bit better as i went on i still really like this drawing [Music] and this one oh i never got around to posting this but um han the glare is really killing me that was around the time that the movie joker came out this is on the back of a card like a playing card i think i did it with gouache and i've never really used gouache before so i'm really happy with how that looks um here's just some adam and colton doodles and like two charlies i don't really draw her that much i still really like this one too and um colton's arms not really the face but i have a thing for arms [Music] here's some more i like this comic um narration is not my thing [Music] i love this page i have [Music] okay i'm trying to go a little bit fast this is when haiku started getting really popular again and that's always been like my favorite anime so when i started getting all the hype i got really excited and i had to draw you know i had to draw high through fan art so here's a few like um reference things that i stole from the book i paused and played the anime and sketched out some of the poses that they made and it honestly helped out a lot i definitely recommend doing that um yamaguchi baby i don't really like how he turned out i still love this it's so cute you know their faces are so scary in this one um here's some more haiku poses [Music] these ones are a little bit more sketchy than less and i kind of like it better i love these two they're baby oh and these two right here are actually stickers now and they're up on my red bubble if you're interested i like candles [Music] are these boys you can obviously i'm pretty more i don't know biased to drawing male characters um here's max i don't know why it's really glary but that's i think with gouache oh look at that crackling [Music] that's crazy um some more oc stuff there's a lot of oc stuff i like this a lot too [Music] um you don't pay attention to that page some of these [Music] i get bath vibes every now and then so i really like this eat this is cute too and i really like this um this is stuff for a commission that i did a little while back i'm actually really happy with how those that one ended up looking yikes um those two right here are charlie's two of charlie's older brothers and here are two other people that are in their classes i don't really i think these are the only times i've drawn them to and i draw them like one other time i never really pay attention to them wow i love tortoises they're so cute they're like a little tiny dinosaur i hope that babies so here's some tortoises i think these are this ballpoint pen which i found i really like sketching with especially in this with this paper it is really smooth oh michael that is a band-aid um this is the other time that i've drawn them too and this is the only time i should draw them more i don't really like drawing girls though oh my gosh i love that that's comedy that's also comedy though so um i think this is also with gouache that's kind of cool there is so much glare i'm so sorry um this is the adventure time page i never got around to posting and i probably should have but i'm just not that happy with it i do really like this though and this right here is a sticker now and you can also get that on my red bubble [Music] okay like ice king's face oh it's kind of cute here's some more poses [Music] all right i really like that one that's funny [Music] some more oc stuff and robert from starkid i love that musical twist is so good i think my favorite is starship though i just really like the songs in it [Music] some more doodles [Music] colton is a very cuddly baby i don't really know what happened here but i was listening to a song 19 by movements and i got like aggressive drawing so that's what happened there this is my favorite page this is my favorite page i just really love this it just makes me happy and here's some more that is a whack and these are really cute and this is a redraw i think from my third sketchbook and i kind of like the other one a little bit better not like the drawing style but like the pose that i had it was just oh it's so cute though i like it a lot this is the misfits page that everybody has been asking me to post and i only like recently posted it i'm really proud of nathan's face and i think kelly's kelly's looks really good i'm so upset about alicia's nose though like i just i was so mad because i really i honestly really like her character and i was really excited to draw her and then her nose just did that and i was like oh no [Music] i also don't like this page okay it's just oof it's a screen cap from the rock the house yeah rock the house video gorillas that's funny um this is another commission i did and i get those um scroller boxes so sometimes you might see stuff like that um it's just some colton doodles these are kind of cool [Music] i actually have this jacket it's um my dad's on work jacket i steal it every now and then i really like it this is a um inktober redraw from like 2018. i just really like it especially that little rat man he's really cute this is the original here this is not actually theater let's just print it out on paper but you know some more doodles [Music] i always forget i don't always forget but i often forget that colton has a little sharp teeth i don't really know why i was in freshman year and really edgy um my friend drew that that's funny um trying to get rid of the glare [Music] it's nice i like that this was a sketch that i was planning on making and i never ended up finishing it these are just some more poses oh i really like this page too especially this it's really cute [Music] profanity [Music] um [Music] oh this was for um an animal crossing picture that i did i'll show you guys that one too it's really cute i never actually do um drew charlie in it though this is just one of those little sketch things and some more colton and adam they are really fun to draw in crop tops and feminine clothing i really love it because colton is um gender fluid so i can really project onto quiltin this is right when um the quarantine happened so things start getting kind of crazy [Music] um here are some stickers of the sanders sides that i did i think my favorite is virgil and these are the sketches for those these are also up on my red bubble i can't flip the page okay this is a great page up on my instagram i posted one of those question boxes and i said send doodle requests and this is what happened [Music] and these two are great i like these ones a lot um this was a challenge by cups doodles i never ended up posting it but um i totally used it to cover up event page you know that's a little bit you know i covered up a lot on this because you know censoring but um oh these are cute i like making my sketchbooks interactive oh wait one more hold on ricky oh i feel like it just makes them more [Music] [Music] interesting more quilted than adam [Music] and third wheel charlie who's asexual by the way you're cute that's there um you know it's okay this is okay i just i was running out of inspiration at this point i got it back and the next page is the one that we skipped because it is event page and i'm not gonna not gonna show that oh i'll come back to that hold on so these are their jobs so charlie is a babysitter um colton is like a roadie or a musician glare and um adam is a fried coke and a waiter so i actually really like this drawing i think it's cute so over here i have colton and some of the like the signatures or autographs that they got so we got zephron stella mugwump and henry higgins two of those being references to starkid musicals and this one stella mugwomp is from the monkeys some more um poses [Music] and these are some markers i got from a scroller box richie this is actually kind of cute um this is these are sketches for a draw this in your style that i did i actually got a lot of submissions on that and i'm really happy they're super cute and this is the finished drawing which i'm honestly i like i like the drawing in general but the face i'm not that big of a fan with compared to the sketch i really like the sketch face and then i kind of i kind of blew it on the face the real one it's okay cause i still like the drawing in general [Music] this is a percy jackson page mostly nico and hazel because i love them both especially hazel she's so cute this is a little nico window or thing i love these i love this hazel got my hands really wobbly yeah um [Music] who's this i never got around to posting this one either i don't even know if i spelled that right i'm bad at spelling [Music] um keysniper which is my favorite anime i absolutely love katsuhira he's so cute um oh and i love nico too she's adorable i hate her i cannot stand her i tried drawing her over here and i really don't like how it looked so i ended up covering it and that's unfortunate but talk about what happened there [Music] um some more doodles [Music] this isn't a thing anymore on my red bubble i took it down some given doodles i really don't like it more sketches i'm trying to go a little bit faster i'm already noticing this is like 20 minutes long or something i really like that jerk and this car cat [Music] and soul looks is great too [Music] this is cute um some more doodles [Music] i love this and unfortunately on this one the face kind of submerged a little bit it was kind of cute [Music] um i actually really like this page and this was something i was planning on making digital and never got around to especially with these two um a couple more some more doodles of colton oh and this is a bookmark that i ended up making show you guys but that looks like um some more um xander sides things a couple of doodles oh here's some my babysitter's a vampire fan art because you know quarantine is doing things to us i actually really liked this drawing of ethan ethan was my favorite there's so much glitter yeah almost eight years later and here i am going through my babysitter's a vampire face again these are really ugly possums i wanted that one the rest of them were kind of cute i like i like them i also don't know what's happening there [Music] i was trying to break down how i normally break down the body and these ones in just like three places i'm in three shapes words um here's some avatar things i really don't like katara she's a quasal bazooka was baby and so it's tough and i was they're honestly all pretty great i love all the characters like except for her i mean out of like the main group this is a sticker i think i'm planning on making still [Music] [Music] that glare is really killing me right now [Music] um here's pride stuff it's pride it's pride month right now um this is because i don't know how to draw things so i copied these and put them into the actual drawing that i did which i really like a lot [Music] here they are here's a couple more little doodles of them [Music] some doodles i like that and this is pretty cute too so here's colton and cute clothes which i love a lot that's supposed to be plaid by the way i kind of lost it so here's that again and and then i also have them in um more masculine clothes which i also really like this page especially that one for some reason and these two and there's charlie and i killed quasar oh that's hidden in there um this was me trying to just finish the sketchbook so here's some more guerrilla stuff i don't really like cooties face on that one i love russell russell's baby [Music] and some more some wacky feet this was me wasting a page [Music] i don't know [Music] oh some doodles of colton adam and charlie when they were little i said this is eighth grade [Music] i really don't like that but that is pretty correct in my mind so here's some quilted this is a little bit um strange but um i normally kind of save that stuff for my hand really shaky i normally save that stuff more for um personal sketchbooks but you know i did it anyways [Music] this is a page that my classmates made um during my science class i love it it's beautiful and this is the last page you know it's me [Music] so that's that um i'm also gonna show you guys this is just me using this as a scrap page um some of the things that i have back here which i don't think is many [Music] there's that um so i have these which is also something i did on my story where i had people suggest outfits so i really like this one this one's cute they have really long legs guy fieri that was supposed to be a halloween one this is my least favorite no not this one wrong one the next one yeah this one i kind of just gave up at this point i was tired of doing it it's kind of unfortunate i'm sorry about that guys [Music] i'll put those back in a second i think that's a sticker paper um oh no it's wrinkled it's tedoraki yeah actually really like glad we ended that on a good note so that's that that's my sketchbook i'm sorry for how strange this video is i've never done anything like this before so there it is thank you for watching i might do another one of these later not later some other time maybe when i finish my next sketchbook which is this one so it's considerably smaller and it's mixed media paper this time so i can do watercolor things and ink things i'm very excited and maybe i'll like show off some of my old sketchbooks the really cringy gross ones so thank you um [Music] bye
