[Music] to to an a bleak trip yeah Pacific Northwest okay started off in organ and worked our way up to Washington Idaho in Montana you know you hear a lot about the timber over here you hear a lot about the Prairie over here and and we start moving out next thing you know you meet some great dudes up in the Pacific Northwest and say hey why don't you come up here and hunt the roadtrip you get the drive dissipation we're gonna meet a guy we never met before [Music] Matt taking this out to that destination where we going duck hunting everything that's frozen over and to hear his plan of what we're gonna have to do to get the holes open gotta get the boats out early we got glut there but it was a trip of a lifetime I mean oh yeah you know the kill six does it in the day but you took this big long haul this trip to get where you need to go again you're gonna build some relationships what better opportunity to go take these guys up on just the trip the anticipation is growing as we move to the next spot the geography changes a little bit and those guys do at that place I had no idea [Music] all right boys pledge came up see the lake come down and show you something that we think is pretty special a little different place about this Eastern Washington Mallard stay here but if you look out here this looks like sagebrush and there wouldn't be any ducks they got big lakes there's three big lakes run down through these canyons in the Civic Flyway is a hidden treasure in this Columbia Basin is the premier area for green heads and an Mallard you guys like green heads you're gonna like it [Music] [Music] these guys be silver and they they have as much passion for others enjoying hunting and shooting as we do here from [ __ ] birds wouldn't you agree with that pretty amazing place and I hunted a lot in California hunted other places and this is truly the number of mallards that just blow your mind [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] you think these aren't hard those guys actually kind of really hard and even after the keel it's a job even get the tug back so we're your advocate if you shoot the duck and the water flow you gotta run and go get to your boat you got to run down the river about two miles and because the water is so fast get the bird come back [Music] we pulled in the lowrance everything's great first time but on the way out whether whether kept getting worse and worse and worse and I remember looking at the news thing uh yeah you know and we've been to that right in this thing I'm looking into tomorrow snow really beginning to spur trip can't just sit at the house no yeah you're prepared for it you got the clothes for it you know I mean literally that coat front to come through the weather there like I said it was just it was it was a different element that we're not used to five three [Music] [Applause] [Music] of course we didn't get on the ducks there the Ducks had left it was so cold days like hey we see you later we're going south [Music] when you get to travel to places like Washington Oregon Idaho Montana and see the different scenery it's very overwhelming you know these these are guys you're gonna yeah you're gonna continue to talk to and hopefully we get an opportunity like you talking earlier you know bring up down the Texan I couldn't tell them why except for the exact reasons we're talking about why that's so memorable for us it's not actually you know shooting birds or geese or whatever you know I mean obviously we like chasing Green said journey we were talking about everybody is naked heaven you need to conduct rail [Music]
