those of you who normally do my daily exercises for an awesome voice video this is your alternative so I want you to swap this in every other day so that you don't get bored of doing those same exercises and you continue to do your daily warmup okay so let's start with a bit of a stretch if you haven't done anything physical today then I want you to stretch out maybe you lean over to one side and Pat your ribs wake up those intercostal muscles on the other side and when you cut that side then hands together push forwards so you're pushing your shoulder blades apart and stretching out the back and do the opposite way so open up the chest here lovely and just roll those shoulders make sure there's no tension here and give the neck a little bit of roll over find the fall and now we will concentrate on the face so I want you to give me a big stretched face and squeeze it stretch and squeeze and stretch and squeeze good I want you to blow out the cheeks and hold and now I want you to with blown-out cheeks hold them out I want to blow as if you're blowing into a tight balloon to really force the air out of those lips you should feel it really activating these muscles here good okay Tom bootcamp you should remember this this is making circles with the tongue as if you're cleaning your teeth we're going to do five in one direction and 5 and the other keeping the lips closed on the other way and then you put the tip of the tongue behind the bottom teeth and stretch the body of the tongue forward like this and relax and stretch and relax one more time stretch and relax good okay making sure that you are standing with a correct posture so your ears over your shoulders shoulders over your hips hips over your knees knees over the arches of the foot make sure you're not arching the back too much I'll more importantly not poking your head forward if you notice that you have a tendency to poke your head forward perhaps stand up against a wall and push your head back into the wall as you're singing okay so we're going to start first of all with a siren so you're just going to go on the ng of sing on and you're going to go up through your range and down through the bottom of your range it sounds like this sing remember everybody's ranges different so we don't want you to go as high as you can and as low as you can if you hear a break mmm it's because that part of your voice isn't warmed up yet so just keep focusing on that and smoothing over so going to warm up the lips with a lip trill it sounds like this you're just blowing air through relaxed lips you can't do this try placing your fingers on either side of your mouth just gently pressing and it should help you achieve that it's going to go to this tune here we go you and down good we're going to do a very simple exercise to walk the tongue and the lips we're simply going to do five up and down on the word Allah and we may change to ma and pas right the thing to think about is releasing the tension in between each section so it's going to sound like this and relax okay here we go laughs la la la la la la la la relax relax change tomorrow ma-ma-ma-ma-ma and pawpaw you all right this is a little tongue twister to get everything working it goes the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue I want you to try and enunciate every little part of that here we go at pitch we're going to do it in the scale of G up and down the teeth Phillips the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue take a deep breath and down the teeth the lips the tip of the tongue the lips the tip of the tongue tip of the tongue good right let's think about our breathing now we know for majority of our breathing we want to be breathing into our stomachs and not into our chest for a majority of our singing so we're going to start off by breathing out you're going to blow the air and while you're blowing the air out you're going to squeeze your abdominal muscles trying to get your tummy to be as skinny as possible so breathe out squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze it till there's nothing left in your lungs and release those muscles and let the air fill your lungs but what should happen is that it should seem to fill your tummy so your tummy becomes big with air and then we breathe it out again squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze squeeze release and breathe in good what you don't want to see is the chest rising really important thinking about that kind of breathing I wants us to sing the alphabet A to Z but then again round to G so going to a all the way through and then through to gene we're going to sing it a pitch we're going to do it all on one breath are you ready now breathe out squee squee squee squee sweet release the tummy amy c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t Gumi WXYZ abcdefg and squeeze the tummy release the breath amy c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z abcdefg Yuri one more time amy c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ABCD efg good when you're singing your songs later on i want you to think about squeezing the tummy when you're singing and then releasing the tummy when you're taking your breath alright good time to move a little bit higher we're going to do our scale now full scale on an R and then at the top we'll add one note into an e so it's like flourishing into an e we're going to take thee all the way back down to the bottom and resolve on an R sounds like this your turn Oh you you Oh check your jaw tension here you or is this - hi for you to just go - where's comfortable last one okay we're going to do some flexibility exercises we're going to do some octave leaps and this is going to be on oh-yo so what we to think about is that top note is not our pie but it's down below.you so rather than going oh we row for thinking up that's always going to be tight and it's always going to be a struggle so I want you to think of the e the top note being down in front of you so you start up oh I think of jumping down on top of the note rather than reaching up to it be careful and mindful of doing this when you're reaching the high note keep your neck in alignment for me here we go you Oh Oh stretch Nick to mole I'm coming down keep thinking of dropping down on spittle note Oh you you last one Oh very good all right time to start working the boys a little bit harder so we're going to work on our toin remember this is to be placed in the mask of the face very piercing no vibrato we're going to do in yeah sound on the way up and a yah sound on the way down all in the same placement it sounds like this Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong Yong and so on to the top yah on the way down here we go yah yah yah yah yah enya Nakayama yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yeah you're down yeah yeah yeah yeah you you yeah yeah yeah okay I'm not going to take a very high today because I want to just concentrate more on the middle part of the voice because now we're going to do our belting exercise all right we're belting what I'm going to ask you to do is exactly the opposite from normal rather than breathing into the stomach I want a sharp high breath into the chest hey if that hurts in any way don't do it here we go remember to relax it between each session so hey hey hey hey relax breathe relax you blacks me down you you you good fantastic remember to try and alternate the two exercises I'll see if I can create a third daily exercise so that you're really changing up your exercises on a daily basis and you're not getting bored and also that we're stretching your voice in different ways don't forget to subscribe to this channel share it I like it and comment if you have anything that you'd like to ask or share with me and enjoy singing
