Simagic Hydraulic Brake System

[Music] the p1000 hydraulic system is attached to the brake and it's time to check out what difference will make performance and feeling wise [Music] first the package contains the hydraulic kit itself which looks great quality build of aluminum and still parts and what it does is compress fluid which push a piston in this container here and compress set off elastomeres of our choice which come with the kit on one side is attached to the pedal core and from the other side straight to the load cell also Cinemagic have made video of the replacement process and it really takes few minutes now be careful when you attach the kit the pedal may feel a little loose so make sure to add some preload on the Piston till the entire structure feels nice and tight the elastomer replacement is the easiest I have seen for a while with just unscrewing the preload cup of the container and adding your choice of rubber pieces in this kit they added also aluminum spacers in the same shape of the elastomers itself which limits the compression and my choice is six red rubbers plus three spacers which gives that Progressive feeling in compression but mainly limits the relaxation of the rubber and gives way more precise input for the load cell if you remember from my previous video how inconsistent the input was of the elastomers pushing the lot so now that problem is totally gone I can press quickly and keep my initial pressure percentage for as long as I want without worrying of that elastomer relaxation of course the angle sensor solved that problem before but now both sensors are fully usable I found also that set of rubbers I chose for my pedals to be a bit more responsive in the compression performance wise it looks like great benefit for those pedals to have elastomer filling and precise lots of measurement which is something really hard touch foreign [Music] well moving the fluid store compressed the rubber gives me a bit more Progressive feeling from soft in the first 30-50 percent input to progressively harder in the next part of the movement just like in the real brake system now that will always be personal preference but I personally prefer that Progressive input feeling which allows me to have better lighter foot in the first few percentages of the pedal and make the trail breaking process a more conformable for me it does change the entire world I don't think so but it definitely gives a bit more unique feeling the most often question I am receiving lately is if I prefer those over the P2000 and my subjective answer is definitely yes price wise after adding all the extra components like the inverted kit which makes them way more comfortable in use heel support which is a key element for precise operation of the fit movement the hydraulic brake system which makes the pedal feeling more like a real car and the haptic motors which change actually everything the p1000 and price is well above P2000 but one good point is it can be done with incremental steps for me the p1000 are not just better and bit more improved design but the share the future of sim racing with those haptic Motors [Music] in the last video about those pillows I've said they don't work with a set of Corsa are factor 2 and Automobiles to but I was wrong the ABS and traction control are just worked but they completely changed my experience [Music] even if I have those effects or might just throw the motion kit having direct input on my feet is way more intuitive for my reactions and helps enormously my driving the haptics definitely are a huge advantage of our normal pedals and even if they work only for cars with abs and TC inputs and building completely new braking habits which helps with other cars as well anyway the only advantage of the P2000 is the dumper kit of the throttle which gives amazing smooth experience but the full kit of the 1000 is better in every other possible way and who knows maybe we will see that dumper kit for the two one thousand but at some point back to the hydraulic system it is game changer honestly I don't know the 200 euro plus is quite Hefty price stock and transforming The Filling into a bit more realistic experience will be something up to us to individually decided or the extra cost but I see as a real objective benefit is the proper work of the lot so to those elastomers which is something really hard to be achieved from any pedal manufacturer out there the relaxation of the rubber is gone and my inputs are steady and precise observing that unique feeling of elastomer compression and decompression that alone is the huge deal in my opinion so it is Hefty price with some real benefits and it's up to you to decide to what the cost nevertheless it makes the bringing experience better for my subjective opinion [Music]
