SIARGAO in 2024 - The Best Island in The Phillippines!?

how is sorgo Philippines now after the typhoon and pandemic let's find out [Music] I'm here at Cloud 9 checking out how it is apparently the Jedi was destroyed by the typhoon completely but they built it back already I was actually here four years ago and sorgo is one of the nicest places to travel and live in the world basically so it will be so interesting to now see how is it different now after basically most of the things got destroyed by the typhoon the nature got quite destroyed in the typhoon also but seems like the coconut trees have recovered quite well so it looks pretty nice already but definitely I can see a difference that there's less coconut trees and it just feels more empty I really can't wait to get surfing and also do some island hopping here is so amazing I came to Shaka Cafe for lunch who wouldn't love a smoothie bowl with Ocean View in a tropical island it's actually surprisingly busy here it's the most famous and popular place but still I didn't expect this fully packed it's so good this is the real Island Vibe and yeah in this video I generally show you all the prices for everything and what is the vibe here if it's busy or not so busy in all the places and the general Vibe here so far has been quite the same then four years ago that is super chill everybody are super friendly and open it's so easy to meet people I already talked with so many people here in one day it's crazy and I already got the scooters 300 pesos per day so it's really affordable I'm gonna drive around a little bit then show how it is so this is actually the main tourist Road here in sargo I'm driving from Cloud 9 to General Luna and so far everything seems good here but keep watching to see the whole situation if it's good time to come here already even this main area is not yet so developed and that's kind of nice here in sargot it's really nice small Island Vibes but there's actually many new coffees and Resorts already so that's good to see and as you can see it's not very busy here during the day it's quite relaxed and that's really nice to drive around here and I love that about sargo that there's so many people to meet but still it's small enough that if there's not too much traffic and it's just really chill and this is the road where I'm staying most of the small roads are very broken like this one there's not asphalt or anything and it feels really local in these areas even if it's really close to the tourist area I will show my Airbnb later and the accommodation options but actually my main concern in sargo after the typhoon but I will talk more about that soon the cloud today we're trying to go surfing but it's a little bit small waves a lot of people your first time trying surfing here we'll see how it is [Music] it was actually really nice there there's not too many people and the water is really cool and it's just nice view to the palm trees surfing there but yeah a little bit small today so it's probably going to be so much more busy when it's good big waves but also there's so many different spots generally really happy with the experience so far here surfing time to go for a lunch thank you there's many new nice restaurants in sargo and today trying this veday and it was really nice Vibe and good food came to the Cloud 9 area to watch Sunset and it's so chill here the people are just doing their thing and it's just really nice Vibe but also yesterday I went to the sunset bridge and it's like a popular place to go watch Sunset and hang around together and taking some food and drinks and doing skateboarding so it's also really nice wipe there there's quite many people there actually now but here in the Cloud9 era it's really relaxed it's so nice it's actually really amazing Vibe here in sargo now I have enjoyed the first day so so much but yeah next I will see how the island hopping and exploring and also nightlife is here now so stay tuned foreign [Music] blue water in the Philippines I'm doing the famous tree island hopping now and the first stop is here the sandbank it's a really amazing experience I remember last time I was doing this is just everything was so perfect and just incredible this island seems a little bit different this time there's more seaweed around it so it's less clean but it's not too busy at all I paid 2 000 pesos for a private boat so yeah if you have few people it's really affordable to do this and it's really worth it [Applause] if you need [Music] the next stop is daku Island and this is the biggest island usually people come here to eat lunch but also what I see that is quite different there's much less palm trees but last time this was like fully covered here with the coconut trees and it's just very different this is the first time that I really see the difference so much but still it's very beautiful and what's amazing here with the tree island hoping that all these three islands you will see the last one soon these are so close to each other and they're unique in their own ways but yeah it's just few minutes boat ride basically between the islands so it's really amazing and also back to sargo it's it's right there it's really close and the last stop is Guyana Island look how nice this is it's just like tiny island with palm trees and blue as water you can just chill and swim here it's really beautiful this is exactly why I love sargo so much it's so nice to stay there with all the surfing and food options and all the Good Vibes but then also having islands like this nearby such amazing destination to travel yeah this is definitely my favorite island of all of these because it's just so beautiful and chill here it's so unique [Applause] [Music] came to do yoga in Lord of Shores and free lessons today and I was actually staying here four years ago but it looks really broken now I don't think there's much else than yoga here now the typhoon apparently hits really hard here that was really nice yoga class so relaxing so peaceful place here and the teacher was really nice and there's many yogis apparently here in sargono [Music] and this is where I'm staying I found this place on Airbnb there's just two house basically and the owners living there so it's really home and this is my house and there's kitchen you can use and the reason why I chose the place is that there's many dogs here so it feels like a home and yeah it's in a really local area actually so it's really kind of nice experience so this is my room it's quite spacious and it's nice design but there's quite many negatives also here it always has been kind of hard to find a nice place to stay in sargo because it's so small place so there's not so many options and I was extroverted this time because I wasn't sure how many houses they have fixed already after the typhoon how many new places they have built but there was actually quite many options on Airbnb that I found that were quite nice but leave it pricey here I paid 35 dollars per night in this place and yeah there's some negatives like there's a mosquitoes in the room it really heats up during the day even if there's AC it just doesn't keep up with the heat but the best part here is that the owner is so nice I met so many people through them and they show me actually video how it looked after the typhoon and yeah it was so destroyed and it's so sad story actually how everything happened that day but yeah Luckily everything is back to quite normal already so yeah it's good to know that there's quite many accommodation options so you don't need to worry about that too much as long as you have money to pay for it and I have favor to ask please like this video And subscribe that helps more than you know and today I want to check the nightlife little bit there's actually event in the evening but before that we came to the sun Elite hostel to just chill and play some games playing ping pong and Billiard it's actually a really nice place to chill here I'm meeting people and there's a trivia night tonight and it's actually really cool in sargo they have these events every week and every night there's a main party in a different place so everybody go to the same places always and the trivia night was really fun and generally in the evening it's really busy in the main roads I usually go here to Cosmic Cafe to eat dinner and it's really nice and there's live music in so many places every single night so it's really cool to go out in the evening zargo is so awesome there's so much to explore I'm checking three different awesome spots today and the first one is here the coconut tree view deck when I was driving here I saw that it looks so different than four years ago there's much less coconut tree but it's still good to see that there's so many already recovered and especially here with the Viewpoint there's so many coconut trees again the second stop is moss in River there's like a place to jump and it looks so different the last time the typhoon destroyed so much so now there's a place to go and there's actually more people and there's even bows here last time I was the only one here now there's so much going on it's really different but still really nice and there's even support for the palm tree where the swing is so they actually completely change and now there's just platform where you can jump and there's no swing anymore because the coconut tree is doing well [Music] thank you [Music] next stop is this mock title natural swimming pools oh this is great they have these pools that are just really nice color and you can chill in the Natural Pools it's really crazy how many things you can see in sorgo and I will show more in the next video so stay tuned that was really nice we just chill in the natural swimming pool for hours talking about life with the people I met in the river and now I'm back home and yes sorgo now it's pretty perfect actually there's many people already it's not so quiet but it's uh like not too busy there's many people you can meet these Good Vibes there's a lot to do here and the sunny season is starting right now for the whole summer it's perfect time to come here so highly recommend it but for detail moments for longer States not so good because the Wi-Fi is still not so good and it's just not the best for a long stay for people who need to work yet but hopefully soon but anyway in the next video
