Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
This whole video makes me want to burn all the cameras in my home.
Next level:
Tech scammers make video where they get caught on webcam and put it in Youtube to earn money.
How do people reverse the hack like this, obviously it isn't but it seems impossible!
Lmao that scammer had illuminati image saved on his computer.
I literally showed my geriatric Canadian parents how this can be done,
Then took control of dad's laptop, and had mum run to me telling dad was being scammed...
It was a learning experience for all involved,
I'm very confused by the people who seem so convinced that this video is fake.
First of all, there are/were multiple known exploits in remote desktop clients that allow for the delivery of a payload or some other backdoor that would allow you to do everything this guy does in this video with ease. (teamviewer was recently found to have just such a vulnerability that allowed for the recovery of passwords and delivery/execution of payloads by external actors) As far as remote access goes, nanocore is a popular example of such a toolkit that Jim Browning used to use before he developed other more sophisticated methods. Once he's ratted the target computer then he can turn a webcam and microphone on and off at will. That's not hard. The fact that Browning tends to watch them for a while longer before giving the game away doesn't mean that it takes months to get into their machines.
Second off, the guy is obviously Dutch, as you can see from the language on his system to his extremely thick Dutch accent. Do you think he's faking the accent, or do you think that a bunch of tech support scammers randomly decided to reach out to some stranger in the Netherlands to make fake videos for them?
I'm not a fan of the scummy ad placement but it seems a bit far-fetched to think the entire channel is fake just because of that. Come on now.
Every Tech Scam - A Indian guy try to speak in american accent
First of all, Scambaiter is not Indian. Second off myself and others work on his team monitoring scammers for weeks and leaking their information to law enforcement and talking with victims to help them out.
Second of all, feel free to join our discord server and myself or anyone else can clear up your confusion. https://discord.gg/j5SDFk7Emr
You must have missed our livestream where we actually got to speak with Jim Browning briefly, or all the Indian Scammers who copyright strike our videos and throw all kinds of slurs at us for the work we do.
I do not recommend you do our work as it is completely illegal to gain access to someone's computer without permission. But seriously, stop trying to expose Scambaiter with no information, this is really stupid.
Fuck this video and this youtube channel. NordVPN ads placed in a way to suggest they could protect you from stuff like this is truly next level scummy.
