Shortest Game of Magnus Chess Career EXPLAINED

hey guys it's William and today I'm going to explain to you guys the shortest game of Magnus Carlsen chess career there was a lot of confusion when the video got out because nobody really knew what happened so today I'll tell you what actually happened before we start please hit that subscribe button and leave a like so let's get right into it the game was played in 2019 during the Tata Steel test competition the game was played by Magnus Carlsen reigning World Chess Champion and Vedic Gujarati one of the top Indian players of the world Magnus is playing white NVIDIA is playing black Magnus opens with ease for Nvidia it responds with E 5 Magnus plays Knight f3 and then it plays knight c6 now instead of going for the rule Lopez Magnus goes for Bishop c4 the Italian game now vidit responds with Bishop c5 the Joker piano now here instead of playing the main moves Magnus goes for d4 an interesting gambit called the rosenritter camping now Vidia can take with three pieces the pawn the bishop in the night but ultimately minute decides to take with the pawn now Magnus plays Knight g5 just pressuring his pawn with his Knight and the bishop now during the game it was actually in this position that the two players agreed to a draw and so basically this is a drawing position actually even though one is down upon temporarily because after Knight h9 h6 you can take the pawn and when he takes back you take with the bishop King takes and you have Queen h5 forking the king and the bishop so that's actually it's actually a drawing position in this position even though it's a drunk position if you're only four moves in so you can be asking or you're only four moves in why do they agree to drop well it's actually kind of funny because before the game madness had an upset stomach and didn't really respected him so they agreed to a draw so that's the video guys I hope you like it please subscribe to our channel leave a like tell us in the comments below any suggestions you have and that's it
