Shore Fishing on the Beautiful North Saskatchewan River (Cecil Ferry Crossing)

just riding on the seesaw ferry it's my first time riding a ferry pretty cool okay so where's that fish [Music] these cables dragging the area across as you can see [Music] just a touchdown there we go nice gentleman thank you there we go that's a very doing some uh river fishing today pretty excited boy look how low it's water super it's low dry year nice snow wind it's gonna get away from the ferret bit the river curves to the right here so that's i'm thinking it's a good spot it's a beautiful brisk morning sweet it's foggy a little bit of a smoke yeah that's awesome just gonna toss the small tulsa small jig out i have no idea what this river is like so and i can't see anything right now but we'll see this okay so more shallow snaggy very snaggy it's not deep okay i'm gonna try a pickle rig toss it out there all right seems to be okay see what we got here fairy it's just crossing to pick somebody up little touchdown came out check that out i think that's a great blue heron pretty cool land it right by me there [Music] celebrate i have something oh i think i got something yep what is it oh it's a nice walleye just so red that's where i needed yes yes so red red horse yes you're right right horse come on let's go new species new species silver hours oh my god i'm shaking i am shaking now let's see where horses okay this is awesome look at it silver head right horse baby north saskatchewan river okay okay guys right now i'm uh right now i'm just at the cecil ferry east of uh pa here i just caught my first ever silver red horse sucker i just have it in the back here with water check it out check this fish out that is awesome it's a pretty big one caught on my uh baitcaster reel too awesome beautiful fish i'm gonna give it get a measurement on him and one i wonder if he's a master angler fish but i have to check what the size is yeah this is so exciting for me that's awesome put him back in the bucket so he can drink some water while we get this figured out all right this is the heart by myself nobody came with me today let's see all right nose i hope you can see that now dry out the tape past the tape actually a little bit and it's 20 2 and a quarter 22 and a quarter okay pull that fish right back in the water oh my god i just got a fish no it wasn't false alarm but let's get this guy back in the water got it all right my first ever silver red horse let's get this guy back in the water yes yes i'm back there she goes look at him go she or him i'm not sure yeah that's awesome let's catch another one let's check this rod it's getting hot running around oh the next morning all right let's go i just spooked one okay i just shot a rough grouse looks like a young bird yeah first one of the day here we go it's gonna be tasty later so the next day all right just got a red horse short head red horse been wanting to catch this fish all year long and we'll just give him a nice release here [Music] all right there he goes [Music] you
