She's NEVER EATEN this! (Balut)

so what is going on you guys uh today's video i have a very special friend joining me for some uh baby duck fetuses or uh i gotta be careful with the tones but uh as you can see i'm at an outside market it's nice beautiful sunny day this place you guys can see there's lots and lots of street food which i don't know what type but i see a bunch of noodles and different meats over here uh oh there's a car so lots of things but i already asked permission if i can film here um julia is in the background but we have hot vitlon and then uh and then vit lone sao maya so we're going to probably be getting a combination of a little bit and then uh um so yeah and then julia is over here because she just got back from work and she was through the rainstorm so she wants to stay a little bit dry but uh let's meet julia all right so first up julia we're going to be getting some uh baby duck fetuses and have you ever had these before no but i saw how the people eaten it in front of my face and i was always excited maybe one day i can try it but i was like kind of scary and i feel guilty you know because they use the baby inside so not today here we go so we're gonna get one that just uh plain and then we're gonna get one that's um i think it's camera ring you know turmeric yeah so with tamarind and then uh there's i think quail egg so we'll get probably two two and two is that okay okay so if you don't like it don't worry i will eat everything i'll finish it so it's not a problem all right uh go away um okay i'm just looking at some of the stuff so uh hi i jungvet loan salmeia and then hi chung vitlong just i don't know kombi bintung they're very lovely ladies they're very sweet that was incredibly fast i put the camera down for a second and she already brought it um i gotta move some of my stuff so we are starting with just the the normal baby duck fetuses and you're gonna crack the top so first off i cracked the top open it's like a hard-boiled egg no this one i think she gave you the wrong one oh come on it's okay so she drains off not bad it doesn't have any like unusual like uh like a chicken soup yeah yeah uh but a baby duck that's partially developing but not completely developed so here's the my shot of uh though juice so for you guys the the baby duck generally speaking you can eat this however you like but people will they'll dip it in they'll take a little bit of the sauce and then put it up here and then when they take a bite they'll eat some of the leaves with it but you can try it however you want first the moment of truth [Music] what do you think i just feel only the egg you just feel like it's an egg yeah but it doesn't feel chicken yeah so sometimes you can distinguish like the parts but not bad right nice yeah my expectation was that uh here will be like real chicken yeah like real bad so for you on a scale of one to ten how would you break this i think for me it's eight in eight yeah really nice so when you live in the chat before you ate it really often when you used to live in the chat before you ate too open a lot i've lived with um a vietnamese roommate and his younger brother for six months and weekly maybe three four times a week i feel like we would go and get uh this dish that's pretty old so this part i don't exactly know but if you don't want to eat it you don't have to but i'm chewing on it right now oh yeah we're gonna take it out i'm gonna just open it it's look like it's it's very hard it doesn't have much flavor uh for my vietnamese audience at home actually what is the white part i don't know this is like a birthday right normally i think it would be but the texture is so very yeah it is i yeah i don't it's almost like a cartilage but i i don't exactly know what it is these ones right here they're not that developed but because again you don't really know what you're going to get and then occasionally you'll get ones where they have the beef and even you can see all the feathers but everything is so soft you don't really notice the bones or a heartbeat so you just pretty much eat it like just like a soft egg i'm not bad but this one really did die okay i'm excited if you were to pick some vietnamese food that you like what what would it be okay every time i go to the restaurant or on the street me and my friend it was just like really they feel crazy how i eat it like i can eat it [Music] like a little bowl yeah can you eat it straight no only with the food of course but not the drink like this oh because you know for me is one thing in vietnam where i can eat a little bit it's not a problem but i can't have too much if i have a little bit too much i don't enjoy it yeah so this is the the jung vet long time what do you think i really like it do you like it more than the last one actually yeah because so many years living here i i thought that i will never try because i was scared yeah and i felt poor for the small animal the the baby is inside of the egg 45 000 videos is that expensive for you forty five thousand cheap yeah because i don't know how much this type of egg would sell at the market but i know like a normal store-bought egg yeah come on you go like a normal store-bought egg is maybe two three thousand degrees down for just one egg yeah it's good for how much they sell in the tank uh how much i don't remember it was like nearly eight years ago oh or seven years ago it was a long long time ago because my friend would like come back to the house like oh a bunch of drunk alone or he's like oh let's go and then he would usually pay for some of this stuff so i have no idea never knew but are you guys um we are finished not with the video because um she's still a little bit hungry but she wants to try something else which is not a problem but we had two normal uh and then uh two uh jungkook loans somehow oh oh all right finished up with the chunk um julia is getting some nakamiya and then uh we're gonna get something else but i also i asked the woman for the jungle loan she said i can leave my motorbike for five minutes so uh hopefully i'm not five minutes too long ago because the people need to drive it you know ten thousand vietnamese down you know many many years ago uh when i came to vietnam doing bicycle turns and cycling through the country i got this mia for 2 000 vietnamese down in the countryside like deep deep countryside 2 000 vietnamese down so here they have boom pipe so what are you hungry for right now like a soup maybe a snack yeah so uh what type of snack though something fries fried not the oilies okay i think though this direction they may not have any food uh they got boccine ah did you want spring rolls you're talking about spring rolls okay so we got bokchien and gaku so this is the the bocce and then this is the guy so this one will be the fried one with egg it's really good if you haven't had it you should definitely try it but they will fry them is the egg yeah so they'll take it and then fry it up and then mix the egg in it did you want to try it let's try it pony yeah you see the yeah but it's good though it's it's it's nice i feel like so much did you want to get the guy so spring rolls all right you guys um we are going to continue looking for some stuff but i need to get my motorbike and i need to go so we're going to finish the video right here if you
