Sheltered - The Perfect Start - Livestream 2

[Music] well hello there ladies and gentlemen boys and girls and welcome to sheltered the perfect live stream number two uh glad to uh have whoever's already here with us and uh also wanna buy the buy i got my first crowned victory royale in uh fortnight chapter three just before this stream started uh so i'll be smashing together a tick tock video later but of course you're not here for that you're here for sheltered apologize that i was not able to stream yesterday a couple of things happened and i had to cancel but all the rest of the streams will now be happening i'm home alone so i have the place to myself and i'll be doing lots of extra streams hi joe mac uh so this week uh tomorrow and also on thursday i will be doing uh fortnite chapter three from 5 pm till 7 pm uk time then from 8 p.m till 10 p.m i'll be doing my usual schedule that you're aware of so mr prepper tomorrow and shelter 2 on thursday and then i will put up some streams over the weekend as well uh seeing us here i'm here on my own um because my wife and son are traveling at the moment i thought to myself well i might as well do some extra live streams eh so yeah i'll actually be broadcasting over the weekend but enough of that i'm sure you'll be seeing the uh seeing the posts on my community channel anyway let's get to sheltered okay we'll pick up from where we left off last time so play we choose the survival mode and then we choose our save so the save is this one here we've only survived for 10 days so far and more importantly i actually have sound now so i can hear the game as well as you guys which is nice so i i sorted out a way of doing it and that's having headphones plugged into my speakers so my speakers don't make noise and my microphone of course is a professional radio microphone so that is a separate device okay here we are back in the shelter integrity 40 okay uh can we uh repair the uh yep we can okay and what's the integrity the other one 35 geez clear the other door as well please okay we've got 87 water at the moment uh we've got the pasta upgraded system indeed we have alistair but at the same time we're not going to do it it's very second okay we want to get the toilet upgraded as well and we've got makeshift shower at the moment let's have a quick look can we make the tier 2 toilet yes we can okay brilliant let's get it crafted is there any room for it is the more important question yes there is we can put it there for now okay yeah j-mac probably will i'll probably do an extra shelter too in fact i may end up doing a couple of streams at the weekend one a fortnight one of shelter two maybe another one of mr prepper uh i'll see but i will put up the schedule for the weekend beforehand so you guys know what to expect pretty quiet night it'll be quite nice actually doing streams at the weekend because obviously normally the weekend's family time um but uh while the cat's away i can do extra uh extra streams so i'm not gonna complain right let's speed up time because they're all doing jobs and someone's asleep those doors seem to be taking like forever to fix i don't remember it taking that long before oh dear okay cancel what you're doing there go to the loop use the nice new toilet and you deconstruct this one okay you're gonna need to eat soon as well we've only got eight food don't add any other traps coming on of course we have got meat uh but at the same time bucket bucket deconstructed and we got two wood interesting i i'm sure a bucket's made of metal i'm sure you'll all agree that a bucket bucket's normally made of metal right well we'll clean the shelter we're not going to let it get filthy and the rats start coming in yet um we've got eight food we've got two meat in the freezer hopefully we um ideally we're going to need trade and stuff as well right go and sleep that's your next requirement but how are you doing yeah everyone's getting hungry uh all right we need the toilet as well okay that's where i just heard snoring but i never really paid that much attention to the audio uh when i played this before because i you used speakers but now i've got headphones on i can actually hear a lot of audio that i didn't even realize was there oh we need to put fuel in the generator as well right add fuel and yeah feed cat is meowing away and uh let's view the journal okay so we tried searching for supplies in a flooded basement not the best idea we've had i tripped over and landed on a bloated maggot that's the body i won't be eating for a couple of days something's not seen or smelled uh we had a trader pass by today i did wonder how they managed to cut all that stuff around they said it took a while but managed to find all the parts for an old band and do that as transport that's actually one of the things that we're aiming to do now our water capacity is 120 so we can have some more rain i thought i told somebody to feed the cap but i tell to feed the cat generator and we're already down to seven pill as well and let's just scroll this down go to app at the moment i'm not really sure where we should be heading uh for our next expedition i mean obviously we explored this town i think our next job is to explore this town over here maybe uh and see what we find but again water dependent of course afternoon uh well good evening from the united kingdom uh rattlehead knackered sure is stepping in bearing in mind he won't know what's being said until the subs drop um so i'm just going to put don't worry uh we are cherish we are talking about weekend streams at hi jenny needs repairing okay fix and catia let's see can you go back and fix that other door the other one's now sent so over x i love the fact that whenever the cat eats it just insta poop somewhere just wanders around and goes yeah i'll just crap on the floor there that's uh that's a good place for it right everyone's busy everyone's doing stuff speed ups the time my friend speed ups oh no i'm awake again all right what can i do uh maybe clean the shelter again or send him out on his own maybe all decisions decisions we'll use less water uh but we won't be able to carry as much stuff which will actually make it fairly pointless uh that's a good point actually craft item tier two should get what do we need with more leather so we need to trap another animal and kill it and we also need another hinge so that we can build an oven so we can start cooking meat so there are two things we need desperately leather and a hinge so that we can make our oven and also so that we can carry more stuff because it's all fairly stressful at the beginning i mean our water's not too bad that's fine but what we do have an issue with is food and until we have an oven we can't cook it the meat that's in the freezer uh actually let's see can we no we can't we need two cement and we can't make cement because we haven't got sand or limestone so we can't expand our shelter anymore either so we're fairly limited at the moment oh boys and girls ladies and gentlemen do you want to hear some absolutely and fantastic and epic shelter 2 news that is now up to the 1.1 patch in the experimental server you can paint the walls you can finally paint the walls that's right i mean we're not on the experimental branch for my shelter two streams but i've been paying attention to the patching level and everything else and we're going to be able to paint the walls in shelter too which is epic uh rattleheads you can get a dog you can choose one pet so you can have either a cat a dog or a horse or a snake in a container or is it a fish nice fish isn't it not a snake hey we've got rain on the surface nice there's a couple of people walking by hopefully they're going to be coming for trade and we might be able to get a hinge that would be nice i've noticed that the uh blooming deer that was there before the save has disappeared which is a bit disappointing because that would have been some leather and some meat but it is what it is right while it's raining drink water while it's you don't need to where are the boys right don't drink water and uh take a shower as well and where's the other boy there he is you drink water so whenever it rains in this game you want to ensure that you are getting everyone to use all of their water requirements because as it's raining and the water's topping up use as much water as you can yes hopefully queen bee hopefully um so yeah although at the moment there's a bit of a glitch that when you paint a room it uses all of the paint so if you've got like 50 cans of paint in your shelter and you paint one wall it uses all of the paint so they need to fix that first but once it's released into the main branch of the game uh there's a load of additional functionality as well that that's being played around with but it's cool it is cool right uh you're gonna take a shower who else needs a shower uh catch it will uh toilet requirements are all good uh okay you need the load as well so go use the toilet cause our water is rapidly filling up to the 120 that is our max now after you've done that uh don't fix the bed actually because i know it takes ages in this game just going to sleep what is the integrity 59 okay right so once you're out the shower you're good let's select everyone else and it stopped raining already okay well we've got up to 107 water everyone's requirements are fairly well met uh we need to get aleister to eat because we're going to send him on an expedition with katia so couch is still going to need to shower uh actually cancel that shower with soap seeing us we've still got some okay you've eaten right you're super duper good and happy now catch ya need to eat as well and then we're going to be super duper low on food so fingers crossed uh fingers crossed we find some stuff when we go exploring otherwise this is not gonna be good okay so first one is catcher person uh sorry person one is uh me and person two is katya oh she hasn't eaten actually abandoned yes larry first okay and in fact we'll get georgie charlie even to clean the shelter okay right now we can set up an expedition okay so catcher and me crap okay so we're going to try and explore here so we'll do a straight line how much water is that 35 okay that's quite a lot 36 37 water okay we should uncover all those locations hopefully don't equip quip and again just take a pipe although strength for that you need strength a and this you require strength 10 so not going to be able to use it even though you've got it which is a bit pointless okay so we'll confirm on catcher there's nothing else we need to take so actually what we might take is uh a bear can trade it and we'll take a book because we can trade that as well as a just in case okay confirm so equip and equip we're going to need to make some more masks unless we find any okay and that's it really why is that showing there that should be in the freezer that then can you play with others uh multiplayer in uh this you can't no but do you mean like fortnite and stuff battle because on fortnight um when i'm doing the fortnite streams between five and seven i've already said to a few other people that were tuned in i'm happy to allow other people to join because it makes it more fun if there's like a squad or anything else so yeah happy to allow others to join if i play any games that are multiplayer i'm very happy to let you guys join me and one of the other things is as well if you ever want to pop into my discord uh you don't have to speak you can just type and chat to me as well my discord is logged in permanently 24 7. i might not be at my computer 24 7 but i will always see no there's no multiplayer on this mate none you have to the freezer uh no shelter 2 isn't multiplayer either actually it's uh it's a single player game yeah shelter 2 is the new one yes yes so the sequel the sequel to the original uh right okay we've got two more buckets which we'll take water we don't need but these things are legendary awesome okay so good this is a this is a good run again we don't need seeds we don't need the tall clothes and stuff yet until we get a recycler which is a important thing to build okay again we can speed up time okay i've got another transmission so search location didn't even bother to look at what it was it was just like going search typical when they're both outside repairing the deer did you see it came in and just went nah nah not having that bye disappeared and the other thing um when you're out in the wastelands in this game you get paint you get paint cans which you can turn into paint thinner to get rid of all of this uh graffiti that's on the inside of the shelter as well right let's see what's in the small r5 fuel oh that's awesome more sand more limestone more wood more nylon ah but here's the ultimate decision coal or pliers uh we will take the pliers because that will improve our crafting so we'll take that we know there's coal there now but that's five fuel so that's epic so yes this is a awesome expedition uh the ac will only take care of it if i remove the partition walls nerd of anarchy so where i put up those partition walls what i ended up doing was creating heat traps and cold traps in shelter too so i actually was thinking that i might deconstruct them on my next shelter two stream that's what i thought was a good idea oh crap generators out of fuel don't add fuel then return your suit because the food will spoil yeah except transmission okay we stumbled across somebody in this church do you want us to talk to them strangers hopefully it's an opportunity for trade we'll see you never know okay it's one person that's always good confirm trade i'll come now do you really mean to insult me with such a crude sales pitch such blunt peddling clumsy offers oh nice nice person didn't want to trade clearly well at least they'll search the church and here we go so examine items in the church what have we got okay is there oh we've got another hinge we've got a piece of metal and a motor oh right how much rubber do we have we have five would we have ten uh right buckets we have two rubber we have five nylon we've got six springs we've got twelve okay so we can get rid of the spring take the motor rope we also have 12 and metal we still have 17 so it's a bit of a toss up but we can come back to the church that's not the end of the world that the stuff that we've got here now i think is more important and that's the thing with this game as well because it's not weight based it's slot based um kind of salvaging is a much more complex mechanic in this one compared to shelter two the shelter two is just weight um and you can have 500 different item types that will weigh one as long as it stays within your weightlift whereas here you can't so the stuff here that we need to come back for but we'll take what we've taken uh and confirm we metal we've still got quite a bit so it's all right no worries nerd of anarchy you're welcome and here we go we just got another rabbit so harvest trap and accept transmission search location again didn't bother looking where it was it's very rapidly done it and george needs to eat so we've got three rations left that's fine um because we're at three meet and by the time this is harvested will be at least four so we'll see how much we get now we've got two good we've got two more meats we're up to seven okay so it's a medium house so examine items car food to fuel that we can't take because we're at the limit um we can take the limestone now valves we've got five we can take the sand okay we can't take anything else how much water we have 16 okay we'll drop that we'll take the fuel okay uh i would how much rope do we have again 12 okay we'll take okay that's it so as you'll see as you go around and you're doing stuff you start reprioritizing what you want to take and you always check how many you have of stuff so that's it we'll take that that's fine confirm okay go to speed up time oh my goodness as soon as i speed up time we get another transmission okay we found another medium house okay so search the location let's actually have a quick look at the map and see what they do so they've uncovered quite a lot a medium house small pharmacy lorist medium house medium house church petrol station so that's a good town to revisit and the same applies as in shelter too you check when you last visited to know how much is going to potentially spawn in those locations and looking around the next town that we'll probably visit is this one yep because this one is much further away and we'll use a lot more water so go on rabbit gun jump in because when our guys get back we can make an oven and hopefully make two more cement right george or charlie even don't harvest that trap okay we've got another transmission found something at the medium house okay let's see what we got perfect more for fuel more food okay more sand a couple of circuit boards that's good to know and paint and of course wood for the recycler so a lot of good stuff here but that's it we've taken can come back for but confirm good trade items as well okay another transmission we found a medium house so search location hopefully we'll get more food and more bits and pieces that we need there we go transmission see how many items yep got more fuel more food actually got full-on cement again two masks more nylon more wood scrap piles are good as well we've got four sand three limestone that's enough to make cement uh i'm questioning with dump off the rubber actually five yeah i think we'll get rid of the rubber and we'll take the cement okay what do we take the masks so that allows another expedition i know we've got some left uh now we can take the toy as well can't we okay yep that'll have to do yep ah debating to take the gas masks or not where's gaffer tape we got five yeah okay we'll get rid of that and we'll take the mosques um yes because that allows us another trip out into the wasteland so okay speed up time oh yeah come on yeah dear captured awesome you can stay there forever now as we've already got seven food in the freezer now this is something else with this game as well this will stay here forever until i harvest it so now he is there he's a big boy the trap's down to zero uses anyway uh we'll leave him there until we're back down to five because you i think the max from memory is five meat from an animal like this so we'll leave him trapped he's not going shelter so okay that's cool hey perception boost lovely and take all confirm 40 out of 52 storage are you done transferring items most definite okay oh still rearranging stuff okay that's fine yep confirm moves there we go right who's tiredest oh you jeez uh you on the other hand go grab yourself a shower with soap uh no just take a shower actually we'll have to risk it and you sir craft us a poor stove making it in our little kitchen area so this will become our kitchen and of course we can start cleaning out the walls and stuff as well in the not too distant future hopefully okay i've got another journal entry so this place is pretty much hell on earth it's always nice to see a person with a smile on their face we're not sure if that person we met was a doctor but they sure knew their onions apparently we can prevent radiation sickness by taking the tablets in advance that's good to know yeah if you run out of masks but planning on not doing that okay right george is up and about so cassie can go to sleep now i'll be even uh i would say don't eat some food first uh no don't eat food actually cancel that let's go to sleep so once those oven done we can actually cook properly right all right george go and repair the shower and in fact fix the toilet as well uh i've just seen your question rattlehead um i would say that having both games is worthwhile okay we've now got black rain on the surface not good um because we haven't been able to upgrade this yet to filter out the uh i should go and grab a suit and upgrade decontamination because you'll see that in this game the water contamination goes up now no one can drink water now quite a long time because the water is contaminated now i think if it's over 15 or it's either 15 or 20 if you drink uh the water it will poison you but he's okay going outside because he's in his uh radiation suit so he's fine yeah that's right hunter the gas masks are indeed mandatory it's why i from that house it's one of those debates that you have to have with yourself do i or do i not pick it up the good thing is the contamination does go down over time and but at the same time we've got people that need uh that didn't last very long anyway okay so it topped up our water and the contamination now should start going down again yep it's already down to eleven percent so that's fine but we're upgrading anyway so not a problem okey-kokey right to upgrade this uh we now need seven hinges to upgrade to the next uh workbench level we have everything else that we need but we do need seven hinges so it's gonna take a while right catchy needs to eat so she can eat meat now because of course we have an oven might be a poor oven still does the job so we can now balance out rations and meat so we have two food sources exploration food and captured food there we go she puts it on the oven cooks it and then she'll start eating of course this game never had tables and chairs so no one could sit there no rattle head it doesn't so the black rain in this what it does is it contaminates the water supply um so it's quite important to um turn suit and go and sleep i need to maintain people's requirements and needs as well okay tier two we don't have it's tier three isn't it a decent shower and also the good stove and decent backpack as well that's a good point we can craft a backpack can't buy a satchel don't we so well there's another deer now in fact because we're at five it would be worth sorting out uh is anyone else hungry yes i am i'm going to eat that literally just gone red hey yep you're sleeping it's fine you're gonna need to eat as well right after you've eaten go and take a suit we need to wait for rain now before we can do another expedition unless we go around the close stuff that's near near our home but other than that at the moment it does it does look like a moose definitely but it's like a mutant moose right he's going to get his suit on its name okay and then harvest trap and then craft item tier two we're gonna need to build another one of these as well so [Music] okay that'll do clean up time six meat so our freezer is now full just as well i sent him to eat which then put it down to four so our freezer is now full so now we have 15 meals so food is now a bit more stable not quite so much of an issue water not too bad we've got 74 the contamination should now be zero how are you doing you need a shower okay how many soap do we have four okay and now more importantly for trading we have four toys three books and two records so we can use our soap now quite happily so take shower with soap until it's way less water okie dokie fact it's probably worth filling up the cat bowl again i think it's tomorrow that it'll be hungry it's either every two or you know i think the cats every two days they defeat it might be once a day i remember off the top but it's not complaining yet that's the important right your stats aren't too bad now you need oops then eat some meat you return your suit you need to use toilet water so when you wake up drink to first is the generator doing so 0.7 so you can clean the shelter okay you've had your water so go to the toilet take a shower with soap okey-dokey no it's one one bar of soap per shower um so yeah rattlehead it's uh it's literally one bar of soap per shell which is of course like ridiculous it's a bar of soap would really last for like 10 showers but yeah it is what it is but we can make soap as well now we just need to build a uh right on top of my memory uh we need to make might be tier three actually i think it's tier here scroll around that's the best trap in the world it's not that one it's not tier four is it coffee machine is great as well which uh sheltered two doesn't have which it should and there's also a good toilet so it might be tier four yep so it's tier four so it's a laboratory so here you can make uh soap and then you've got an ammunition press and cycling plant water condenser which will pull water out of thin air and then a large freezer as well so there's loads of cool stuff once you get to two of four and you also find blueprints the same as shelter two as well so you can find special blueprints when you're out exploring the wasteland right what would be worth doing now is can we craft and have we got enough space for a bookshelf yes we should uh which will entertain the adults but not the kids so craft item tier two nope we have no nails left so we can't make the bookshelf and we can't make the toy box either it's fine for now you can uh add lights as well obviously at the moment this is all in the dark that's fine it's a bedroom into the world and what i should really do is get me broadcasting for traders so broadcast for traders you going into the loop we're at 50 water so we're still okay water wise no you can't you can't make coffee either in sheltered two and coffee and sheltered it um relieves both your thirst and uh your sleep requirement and you make when you make it you make ten in one go it just sits in the coffee pot so you can keep going and drinking it whenever you need it which is quite cool so there's a few different mechanics from this game that aren't in the sequel where he needs feeding okay fill the bowl i love the fact that since that um elk moose deer uh went past none have come back again it's fine we've still got 13 meals so it's all right what we need next is rain our water is getting lower oh i swear this game listens to what i'm saying look at that it's a rabbit straight away in the trap okay take suit this trap oh no no no don't don't don't don't okay and how he's doing they're both 81 so fix up and sleep how are you doing you need sleep as well so fix it sleep oh you do you are starving so don't eat meat i'll take it down to seven and if anyone else needs to eat at the moment this and fallout shelter came out the same time noah um so these two games uh fallout shelter which obviously i have my perfect start series on as well both games came out in the same year looking to offload some of my stuff on the cheap woohoo yes oh look at all this lovely stuff right four fuel yep uh wall yep uh switches we'll take three and i have what we are at trade value already we're at 75 and we'll take all your limestone as well 92 we need to find but that's fine okay don't need the magnesium yet a springs i can't remember how many well we've got 10 just see there 10 and we'll take the bottle i would calm that's the other thing as well with trading you can only trade five items that's it so you have to prioritize even with the trading and we've still got 49 water it should rain again soon let's see what do we want to trade well we want to trade one of these a book or two toys there's 50. a book there's 75 and a record takes it to a hundred so oh didn't mean to do that let's put that back so 75 now we need to get to 92. what have we got lots of well we've got lots of rope but it's only worth two or do we just take a bit less of limestone i think maybe take a bit less of limestone maybe just take three so let's makes we've got to find something 10 um or maybe one less fuel because that's worth 15 so there we go so now take now if i'm not mistaken the value on this one has to match exactly otherwise it won't be trade there we go so i'm gonna lose out by one but it's fine okay so trade there we go trade completed but yeah so as i was saying fallout shelter came out at the same time as this game so they kind of came out but they are similar games obviously fallout shelter is more zoomed out management going on quests uh whereas this is uh managing your individual people so obviously in full lap shelter you don't manage your stages go around in the rooms that you assign them to but it's hard living like we do but that person that came to see us today that said that the best source of stress relief is to read books and kids would probably find that boring though toys are probably more their thing yeah well i haven't got the resources for that shush yet we do have parts to upgrade the system in fact we should be able to upgrade the durability we can capacity we can nearly upgrade but efficiency is something we want to upgrade if we can as we need three more valves for that okay is it talking about our water filter yeah because we can upgrade the durability but i don't care about the durability too much more the decontamination and the air filter of course is again durability resistance and output so output we don't need to improve um because i'm happy with the people that we've got i don't tend to bring in extra people in the original game because it's unnecessary and dangerous in this game it was actually very dangerous to bring people into your shelter right after you finish broadcasting you're gonna hit the toilet most definitely and then probably some sleep all right can we craft anything extra now yes we can craft an extra room she's going to use two more of our metal of course but that's fine i need to expand anyway so should we go this way all this way i think we'll go this way there we go sorry poor little
