Until the UAE legalizes homosexuality and other such human rights, then the western world should not accept trade relations with them.
Remember, a good amount of Gulf countries and Morocco were setting up relations with Israel before the Second Intifada happened. When peace is made, don't be surprised when those same countries line up to start things going with Israel. Also, there's the whole Arab Peace Initiative to consider.
