She Claimed Ownership of an Entire Park

this entitled dog mom thinks she owns the entire park but these teens have had enough of this entitled dog mom and her fur baby happy birthday today's your birthday and on with a revamp show a bit of backstory my dad met my stepmother shortly after my mother died don't feel sorry she was a narcissist but that's a story for another dozen or so posts I always knew she didn't really love me but I was 18 and moved out shortly after and didn't really meet her that often so it didn't bother me she made my dad happy and we were civil not friends but not enemies either so I was fine with it and now to the story I went to visit my dad for 2 weeks and brought my son with me everything seemed to be fine in the beginning I have a half brother who is six at the moment my son is 3 and 1/2 years old so they played together there were a couple of fights nothing major just two kids having disagreements and then this Saturday I went to bed early because I had a migraine so I didn't help clean up in the evening the house they live in isn't fully renovated yet so there's a ventilation pipe next to the room I was staying in through which I could hear the conversation she was having with my dad talking about how bad of a child I was not to help clean up my dad defended me saying I had a migraine so what was the big deal she got all defensive and told my dad he didn't raise me properly and I mean come on she knows what migraines are like she has a hernia in her neck so she gets them quite often but I guess it's different when others are able having them I felt bad hearing that but decided not to say anything about it since I came to spend time with my dad and didn't want to cause problems on Sunday my half brother was having a bad day I guess since he's usually a very bright kid he and my son kept arguing and I kept breaking up the arguments my stepmother was upstairs lying down because she wasn't feeling well so she probably heard me and my dad having talks with my half brother all the time at one point I saw him holding my son's head underneath his arm and hitting him on the back so I reacted by exclaiming half brother stop my dad saw what was happening and gave him a dressing gown at that my stepmother stormed down and started screaming about how my son and I were a princess and a prince who couldn't do anything wrong she took my half brother upstairs and shut the door so hard the wall shook a minute later she came down and took a bowl of soup upstairs the soup was on the counter and not on the table where the kids were sitting waiting for food and where the incident with my son and half brother happened which is important because a minute later she came down screaming about how my half brother burned his hand on the soup because my dad hit him which never happened and the kid was nowhere near the soup just to clarify there was no burn and she didn't burn him either if any of you were wondering she kept screaming at my dad that he wasn't treating her son right she kept saying saying her son and telling us he could do nothing wrong and that we were all just trying to be mean to him and my Dad tried to wait it out and not say anything until she calmed down so they could have a talk but at some point he lost his call and told her that he was always convinced it was their son at that she turned around to my half brother who came down the stairs and screamed your dad said he's not your real daddy at which point I saw red because that's the same kind of tactic my mother tried to use with me when my parents were divorcing I told her it's not okay to say something like that to a child I would have told her exactly why but she turned to me with an open Palm ready for a strike and shouted shut the freak up because I will mess you up if you say another word not an exact translation but closest to what she actually said in my native tongue I shut up although I wish I hadn't and that I let her hit me so that I could call the police my Dad decided to split up with her after that incident so we would have something to show the cord in the custody battle about to happen my dad told me to let it go and went to talk to his son to assure him he loved him and Mommy didn't mean what she said she was just angry basically damage control at this point my son who was eating soup at the table 3 and 1 half-year-old let me remind you and who didn't understand what was going on decided to say I don't like half brother to which she shouted at him to shut his effing mouth and if he didn't like him then he could play somewhere else I told her to never speak to my son that way again and position myself between her and him she turned and walked back upstairs me and my dad had a talk and he decided to drive me and my son to his brother's place because this was not a good environment to be at I ended up going home a day earlier today I got a text from my stepmother saying she was sorry she didn't mean any of that but that she couldn't turn back the time I haven't responded yet to tell you the truth I don't know what to tell her even if I want to talk to her ever again honestly it's hard to blame him for feeling that way who wants to put themselves or their children in such a toxic environment I mean at least the three and a half-year-old had some wisdom behind him right he was cluey enough to know that he didn't want to associate with them anymore it's hard to tell when you see those text messages that are like I'm sorry but I can't turn back time how do you determine if it's sincere or if they're trying to just sucker you back into go for round two this was when my friend and I were about 16 I'm 21 now he wanted to meet up at the park in our neighborhood to hang my dog a very beautiful German Shepherd and Australian cattle dog mix saw me start to leave and gave me a sad look so I decided to take her it's important to know that while my dog is super friendly with people she's familiar with she's extremely anxious and defensive around strangers she will bark up a storm at people she feels scared of but she would absolutely never attack another person or animal generally though she's pretty docile in public spaces like Parks has as long as there's not a lot of people since my friend lived closer he got to the Park first I texted him to make sure there were no other people at the park it was late evening on a weekday so there wasn't anyone but him I hooked my dog up to her leash and walked to the park my dog was very happy at this particular Park there's a large clearing of grass since no one was around I decided to let my dog off the leash to get out her Zoomies while my friend and I talked that was probably not smart but well I was 16 and my dog looked pitiful stuck on a leash about 15 minutes later I saw an adult man and woman who both looked uh trashy if I'm being honest in the distance walking towards the park the woman had a dog about the size of mine on a leash immediately I called my dog over and put her back on her leash unfortunately she saw the people approach and began to bark I pulled my dog as close to me as possible if they were going to stay at the park I was prepared to leave but I hoped the couple would just pass through the park and move on I was not prepared for what happened next the man and woman were glaring at my friend and I and proceeded to walk straight up to us since my dog was barking their dog was too the first thing out of the woman's mouth was does your dog want to freaking fight my dog will kick your dog's butt um excuse me frantically I tried to tell her no she doesn't want to fight anyone she cut me off tell your dog to freaking shut up or I'll let my dog off her leash now I feel really bad for their dog she looked like a much older dog and definitely not like she was well-loved she just kept barking and pulling on the leash occasionally the woman would partially let go of the leash to allow the dog to charge at us only to harshly yank her back this whole time the man with the woman was quietly glaring at us and puffing his chest and since her dog was barking and being threatening my dog was only getting more upset she was literally shaking in my arms as she barked I gave my friend a look and he understood what I wanted he and I both got up and started to leave apparently though that wasn't enough for this couple they followed us at a distance out of the park and about halfway back to my house before they turned and went back to the park after that I literally never brought my dog back to that park for a while I was afraid just to hang out there with my friend my dad insisted on driving my friend home that night since he would have passed through the park on his walk home I just don't understand what gave that grown woman the right to threaten two teenagers and their dog we hadn't done anything to them and I was literally preparing to leave if they intended to stay at the park I know what my dog is like and I knew there was a possibility somebody would show up while we were there I realize it's scary when a strange dog is barking at you but most people would just politely request that we leave my dog has always had social anxiety issues we've been working with her since she was a puppy but some things are just too ingrained to change my dog hardly gets to go out and play in Parks because of this Behavior it's not like they knew that of course but that doesn't make it okay to threaten people because their leash dog is barking at you I honestly don't know which is worse an entitled mom or an entitled dog mom they both have pretty much the same nature if the dog is on a leash I don't know how you can see it as a threat to you yes if it's off a leash and barking crazy then I could understand why you'd be upset at the owner and they always have the option to leave the park themselves but I get the idea that they probably feel like they own the park and they have more right to be there than anybody else so I was celebrating my 21st on end of May which is not a big thing to celebrate in Germany the only thing to celebrate is that you would be able to party in Vegas but that's it in Germany you can do everything once you hit 18 my entitle Aunt doesn't live anywhere near but didn't even bother to write me a happy birthday text the last few years don't ask me why I've never done anything to her but she's the type to show up when she needs help but when everything is fine for her even temporarily she doesn't give it Dar she's my mother's sister but she straight up forgot about my birthday multiple times even after being reminded by my mother important to know for the story my aunt had a longtime husband before divorcing him and they never had children I visited her and her ex-husband multiple times with my family and he was the perfect Uncle he always cared always had the open ear for everybody and always kept her in check I guess and he was well off I don't know what he exactly did but he was the IT guy who survived. and was big in investment but always was humble about it just not the guy with the big house and the big new car he always seemed like a regular nice neighbor who just happened to have more in the account than others I never even assumed that he was that well off until he invited me and my parents to his lake house after divorce he still kept contact with everyone and invited me on his new Sailing Boat just his personal hobby happiness was her name and this boat wasn't cheap I reckon her used price would be double the combined price of both my parents' cars which aren't cheap cars but this boat easily goes for 100k Euro new why would I add this you may ask here's why God bless this man he recently passed away metastatic cancer my aunt inherited everything because he had no children and no family when he died although she married into a new family for a longer time I was there at the funeral to pay my respects for my ex Uncle I had so many memories with including me puking into his new boat on said sailing trip yeah I get seasick easily but this teddy bear of a man didn't even scold me for vomiting on a 100K plus Sailing Boat on the first trip so my aunt received a big inheritance but married a single father with two children and although the single father was the worst prick I ever had the displeasure to meet my aunt did everything for her new family so when my mom called up to remind her that my 21st is coming up I always congratulated my aunt on her birthdays she had nothing to say but he's the soul kid of Rich parents everyday's birthday for him nothing special she just inherited a whole bunch of money but now I'm the rich kid note my parents aren't Rich my family is well off my parents pay for Education food and occasional clothing since I still live with them but they don't pay for my hobbies example upgrading my gaming PC so I sent my entitled Aunt a nice little passive aggressive text on her birthday hey Auntie congratulations on your XX birthday I hope you have a good day and celebrate your special day with the people you hold dearly I wish you all the best the rich kid son there was some back and forth calling between my mother and my aunt after that with my mom taking my side by saying that there's basically no reason to ignore my birthday because my parents pay for some things honestly I never expected anything to come of it since my aunt didn't bother to even congratulate me let alone sending me even 5 for years but my mom probably gave her an ear for because my aunt sent me a text message congratulating me for the first time since probably 5 years and telling me that there's a little gift in my bank account for my special 21st birthday she sent me €500 for my birthday holy crap family peace is restored once more I guess I have no idea what that mother said to the entitled aunt but it must have been something pretty intimidating to have put 500 after doing nothing for years and years the thing is it sounds like op didn't even really expect money or anything it's just that birthdays are important to them and they remember everyone else's birthday so you know hoping they return the favor with a text message well I guess that's 500 more Euro to go towards upgrading your gaming PC yeah not a bad birthday submit your story to be
