hi guys my name is andy and uh yeah this is my channel diy tools and other stuff with andy me so today my first video ever i want to compare a sharkbite crimp tool with the shark bite clamp tool so both tools made shark bite they have different brands too so uh one little tiny and small i use this thing all the time since like i don't know two years this one here i just got today so i did a couple of crank crimps here crumbs clamps crimps in my garage so it's pretty hard to handle it's pretty big bulky and uh yeah uses different connectors uses uh these packs rings i hope you can see this compared to the clamps oh jeez this is my fly thing up there it almost scared the living crap out of me okay so back to back thing ring clamp so uh back to the tools the shark by what's the number eight six five eight nine four does half inch to three quarter inch the shark by two three zero one the clamp tool does multiple sizes it's all i i don't know one and a half two inch don't hold me on it it's a one tool for multiple sizes of clamps uh what's kind of nice and neat because if you have the clamp let's see this if you have to clamp on the pipe uh you can be right on the wall right on the wall with this and you just get it crimp it call it a day with the rings the rings i have to get around it so as soon as i have to get around it i need clearance behind it between the pipe and the wall with this tool especially if i do the three quarter the three quarter i need at least an inch clearance so i think this will be maybe a problem going forward in the future uh because then if you look at this the pipes right here you need that much space from the wall half inch not as much half inch it's fine but three quarter inch more than an inch clearance uh again this tool pretty big pretty heavy pretty hard to handle you need two hands you need to squeeze a lot to get this connection tight the clamp tool nice and easy you need yes you need pressure but you don't need like a lot of pressure it goes nice and smooth you know when you're on and uh and you're good like i said i love this one the clamps so far no issues the rings i will check this out in the near future to see how this will work out and perform in the field uh yeah there we go again clamp tool oh that's my fault yep clamp tool crimp tool so comparison again these things are pretty different in size so i think for you at home get the clamp i don't know in the field if you have to do a lot of them you have good access to everything i made this one does the job so we'll figure this out uh yeah i guess it's for me for today i hope this helps a little bit uh in the future we will have some more videos about what about we shark bites yeah we got shark bites not a big fan of them i have a lot of them uh barely use them that's i guess that's why i have so many of them uh what else we got we got a lot of pack stuff packs b for the most part i did not do anything with pax a yet so we will see how this will work out here's my new thing i will have do some pro press from now on so pro press we will see how this works out uh what i like with pro press and these are only connections from pro press to pex but uh more stuff is ordered uh want to do more pro press to get to solve the issue with the with the flow issues because as soon as let's here's a piece here half inch pipe half inch pipe packs b so as soon you enter this your flow is restricted if you compare this is uh this is your pipe this is your opening this is your connection your fitting so you're taking away a good amount of flow from your pipe so i mean half inch is not really a lot you know i begin with taking away more of the adding more restriction to the flow uh i can imagine you if you install a shower valve or whatever you get some issues with this you know that's low water pressure or whatever you know so my next shower off i'm going to install will be uh all the connections will be the progress i bought the milwaukee m12 force logic press tool whatever so i'm pretty excited to use this and uh yeah we'll see how the connections will be so i will take you guys on my one of my next videos i will take you on my job site and uh we will look at this together all right so i hope this was a nice introduction and uh yeah i see you guys soon alright bye
