hey everybody how's it going it's it's been a while I have actually been on vacation for the past three weeks or so so that's the reason why I haven't been uploading videos but I'm finally back home and I got some really good stuff coming up pretty soon so you can all look forward to that for this video right here I'm going to be doing a tutorial on my absolute favorite color change it's called the shape shifter and it looks about something like this I'll take that two of diamonds for example and just give it a little snap it'll change into the 7 of spades okay so this isn't just my favorite color change it's actually one of my favorite card moves in general it's an angle proof there's no angle issues it's easy to get into it's easy to clean up extremely visual and it creates that really nice snapping sound so it's just got a lot of really great things going for this one you should definitely learn so to start out with I'll kind of just show you what happened and then I'll go into more detail on how to do it so here's the basic idea I took a single car the car that I want to change so in this case the 7 of spades and what I'm doing is I'm putting it on top of the deck and then I'm pushing over two cards I guess this is two cards back-to-back but it looks like a single card right now what I do is I apply pressure in a way so that when I release these two cards will flip over very quickly 180 degrees and it looks like the car just instantly changes okay so at speed that looks like this that was a bad example something like that okay so let's let's go into some more detail on how to do this grab a single card whichever crowd you want to change you can take it out from the middle of the deck you can take it from the top it doesn't matter and the first thing I do is I flash it to the hutton so I turn my hand palm down I turn it back palm up and then I flip it over books on top of the deck okay now during this flashing process I'm getting a break beneath the top card of the deck all right so flash come back over and flip on top of the deck then I just apply a little bit of pressure right on top to make sure that those two cards are now completely square the next thing I do is it's a two card push over Vernon two card push over if if you don't know how to do that that's fine instead you can just come over from the back lift up with your thumb and then grip the two cards like this so I got my thumb on the left side I'm a little ring on the right side and first finger at the front edge next I'm just going to swivel the card just a little bit counterclockwise and that makes these cards very easy to grab with my right hand so I'm going to be grabbing them from the non index corners with my right thumb and my right middle finger just like this okay and I'm also going to flex the card a little bit just band a little bit downwards and that will help cover the thickness of the car that makes it look more singular okay next step you're going to come over with your left hand with your left thumb and your left ring finger and you're going to grab the index corners just like this so now you're gripping all four corners of the card now we're you're going to be doing is squeezing your left two fingers in towards each other and that will cause the card to bend downwards it'll flex the card and usually I'll flex it maybe once twice and then on the third time I release with my left thumb okay causing that card to spin over all right now the most important part about this change is to make sure that when you release the card it spins exactly 180 degrees the card should end up parallel to the ground that's very important sometimes when you do this the you won't apply enough pressure and the card will end up spinning maybe just this much that doesn't look good sometimes you might apply too much pressure and the card will spin spin spin and then I'll land hair that's also not good you need to do a lot of experimentation to figure out exactly how much pressure you need to apply in order for the card to land exactly flat okay should be parallel to the ground that's what makes this color change to look good all right so there is a small discrepancy in this change initially you're holding the card from the non mythix corners after the change is done you're holding it from the index corners but this is a change part I'm sorry this is a discrepancy that won't be easily noticed and it totally flies okay it's a very good color change to clean up this is great this is one of the great features of this color change is that after you're done doing the change in order to clean up all you do is drop the two cards on top of the deck push over the single card and you're done the color change has been completed okay and usually I'll I'll turn both hands over turn the back over just as a quick display that the change is done all right so that's pretty much all I have to say about the shapeshifter just keep in mind that this this is a gem really this is one of the best card loops there is so practice it a lot please don't abuse it don't overuse it use it when the moments right it's a it's a very powerful thing you got here so I hope you like that have fun practice a lot and take care
