the university of california has done scientific studies on shambhavi mahamudra the basic practice we teach usually and they say if you practice shambhavi mahamadra for three months the neuronal regeneration increases by 241 percent a kind of percentage that's never been recorded in the history of any kind of research okay just a simple practice for 21 minutes 241 percentage increase in your brain function and neuronal regeneration this means as you grow old you will become more intelligent usually young people think you're getting stupid yes your brain is actually growing you understand it's getting better by the day now there is scientific evidence we always always knew this but today a meter has to say if a man says it it's not true if a man says it it's doubtful but a meter has to say now the meters are saying it the meters are saying your brain is actually growing by doing a simple 21 milli minute practice and you don't believe the meter you just do the practice for three months and see you will see how clear and how smart your mind is suddenly when you look at the human brain your brain right now is uh in four layers in a certain way one is the brain stem which is essentially in charge of your respiratory action and your cardiac function the way the brain stem functions with for example you're doing shambhavi with shambhavia mahamudra within 24 hours you can activate the brainstem in such a way that your respiratory action and your cardiac function measurable change can be created within 24 hours of practice twice you did somebody once you got initiated in the evening you practiced we can actually show a distinct change in the way the brain stem functions this is the fundamental brain that you have over that you have what is called as the r complex which is the reptilian brain actually every human being has a mini reptilian brain upon his brain stem you have something like the brain of a crooked oil i hope you don't operate out of that but you know many times you do now you that's happening isn't it this reptilian brain is in charge of your emotions your sense of you know wanting to keep your boundaries the moods and very strong sense of territory very very strong sense of territory reptiles have a very strong sense of territory so this reptilian brain is functioning within you doing these things if you have too much of these things you're generally operating out of it that's what it means the next part is the limbic brain which is mammal which is which is more like the other mammals this also is in charge of certain type of emotions particularly filial that is uh you know a natural care for the offspring the next is the cerebral cortex which fortunately is more than two-thirds of your brain it is this part of the brain which is capable of giving you a certain level of awareness consciousness i'm i'm taking the simplest aspect of the practice that you are doing you may be in various other levels of sadhana but if you're doing the simple shambhavi mudra one thing is instantly the brain stem goes on to your a very rejuvenated sense of action and the r complex goes down and the limbic brain also goes down the sense of boundary is hugely reduced the moment you start practicing suddenly your feeling of this is mind is not yours this is my family this your family these things have come down that's why you're sitting like this together otherwise the rituals that were created but that were practiced in ancient times were essentially created to transcend the reptilian brain to transcend that sense of boundary but later on the rituals themselves took on the form of exploitation and boundary only this community people can come to the ritual nobody else can come there was a time if a ritual is on even if a lizard comes he must be served do you know this it doesn't matter even if a beast a crawling insect comes you have to serve so people who are in ritualistic way of life evolve this within themselves there is substantial scientific evidence that just by chanting certain mantras your cerebral cortex will be hugely activated and enhanced there is substantial scientific and medical evidence today about this we don't need these damn meters to tell us what's happening to us what's happening to us is happening to us and we know it's happening to us for thousands of years we know this is what happens to us but today there must be meter reading otherwise it's not approved you could be lying you could be making up things possible i'm not saying no so to transcend the reptilian and the limbic aspects of the brain certain rituals temple rituals were created where there's a certain sense of unity not by understanding simply by energy simply because you're functioning from a different part of your brain and certainly everything about you is different between one person and other why one person is sweet another person is nasty why one person is happy why another person miserable all these things can be brought down to the chemistry of what's happening in your brain so changing these chemical patterns in the system for this they evolved very elaborate ritualistic systems unfortunately not maintaining the efficacy of what it is because their subjective systems they fell on bad times people just became commercial and slowly comical and the very beauty of this ritual became ugly exploitative discriminatory there are ways to do certain sadhana which is more intense than sexuality which is more ecstatic than sexuality all dimensions of yoga one way or the other are ultimately trying to activate the final because once it begins its secretion everything about you becomes sweet and beautiful it creates a whole inner pleasure which makes all the outer pleasures look like kindergarten stuff that's the reason yogis are just sitting with eyes closed not because they're against pleasure they're against small pleasures that's all so the shambhavi one thing that's happening is it stimulates the pineal secretion in a big way which leaves you drenched in a certain level of sweetness throughout the day it just leaves you in a certain state of ecstasy and blissfulness because the pineal gland is active this is one aspect of your physiology which is very close to your consciousness rest of the physiology is about survival but pioneer gland is one aspect of your physiology which is very very close to transcending the physical [Music] in the yogic traditions this sweetness is referred to as amruta or the amrosia or the elixir of life [Music] in one drop if it comes into the system suddenly the whole system just cools down the whole system is lubricated functions at ease the desperation in the system is gone the desperation in the mind is gone your chemistry has become dependent on nicotine or caffeine and whatever that will change you just see you do shambhavi mahamudra suddenly your whole system is so fired up the need to smoke the need to drink coffee tea everything just evaporates now if you do it it's only for the pleasure of it one day you feel like drinking coffee you drink it one day you feel like smoking you smoke that's up to you but the compulsion will be taken away the physiological dependence will be taken away we'll do that with the practice but first you see that it's stupid to do it we will initiate you to shambhavi it's a simple process there are many ways to do it this is one simple way but it's a powerful process if you sit here you will see your body is here your mind is somewhere who you are is somewhere else once there is a space between you and the mind then what the mind is not doing what the mind is doing is not even an issue it is like you're stuck in the traffic jam you know you're struggling through the traffic that's one experience suppose you're uh either standing on charm on the hill or you're floating in a hot air balloon and look down at all the traffic very peacefully traffic why is the distance isn't it when you're in it traffic a different experience from really high up there sitting in a hot air balloon you look down you can't even hear the sounds looks wonderful traffic isn't it yes or no because there's a distance so once there's a distance between you and your mind's activity mind is not a problem mind is a miracle it is not a problem and anyway if thoughts are going continuously if you're having a mental diarrhea obviously you ate some bad food isn't it yes you're having a physical diet you ate some bad food isn't it if you're having a mental diarrhea you're obviously consumed something wrong what what this wrong thing could be is the moment you identify yourself with something that you're not then you're finished your mind is a continuous runs there is no other way do what you want try as hard as you want it is not going to stop if you do not identify yourself with anything that you are not you know how to be with everything you know how to use everything but you are not identified with it then you will see if you sit here simply mind will be like this you want to use it you can use it otherwise it will be like this right now your hands are like this or you're holding it tied up because it will go all over is it no you can keep it like this you can keep it like this you can keep it like this when you want to use it you can use it so it's a useful instrument suppose your hands become like this you know some people have become like this yes you know if it becomes like this you will become ridiculous isn't it if it happens to your mind also you're equally ridiculous it is just that you are living in the comfort that nobody else can see it but people can't see it they watch you closely enough they can't see it isn't it and whether they can see it or not that's not the point the point is the most important faculty of your life is out of control doesn't matter whether they can see it or not that's not the issue the issue is the most important faculty in your life is out of control doing its own rubbish all the time not doing what you wanted to do so if you have to be freed from this ailment you should stop eating bad food wrong food or bad food means you're identifying yourself with things that you're not if you sit here if you're not identified with this and with this then you will see everything is just fine then your mind will do what you want it to do otherwise it will simply hang there and that's how it should be mind should not be telling its own stories all the time it should tell the story that you want it to tell isn't it otherwise it's quite a nuisance do you see this body as we've been going through this again and again to the same point when it was born it was so small now it became this much definitely you didn't need any external stretching help to get it to this size isn't it that which is the source of creation what you refer to as the creator seem to be functioning from within you isn't it so yes the creator is functioning that is that means the manufacturer of this body and this existence seems to be functioning from within you if the manufacturer is inside if you allow him to function fixing small floss in the body you think it will be a problem so mahamudra is just creating a passage so that your innermost core functions if you allow it to function the nature of this in yoga will refer to your innermost core as the bliss body people have always talked for ages that if you come in contact with god you will become blissful you know brahmanand you know they've been talking about this see it's different ways of presenting it your innermost core is referred to as bliss body now all we are trying to do is the physical body the mental body the planic body and the etheric body we are aligning it in such a way so that the innermost core within you the bliss body finds expression the shambhavi is not creating ecstasy the shambhavi is just aligning these four so that this one the source of creation finds expression if the source of creation within you the creator finds expression fixing your heart liver or kidney you think it's a big problem manufacturer when he comes out and begins to function everything is fixed you will see miraculously health will become okay i can show you thousands and thousands of people who come out of their ailments just like that like a miracle is it a miracle anything that you don't understand you will call it a miracle isn't it suppose you don't know what is electricity and i tell you you just watch this i'm going to press that wall and this hall will be flooded with light would you believe me you won't believe me you'll say no such things are not possible now if i press it and suddenly there's light everywhere now you think either i am son of god messenger of god or god himself depending upon which culture you come from isn't it anything that you don't understand is a miracle in your understanding either there is no miracle in life everything happens between cause and effect are everything is a miracle isn't this life a miracle you and me sitting here on this round planet which is going at a tremendous speed is it not a miracle we sitting here and talking all this nonsense is it not a miracle so if you look at it if you have eyes to see everything is a miracle or nothing is a miracle these are two ways to approach life these are two forms of yoga one is to see everything as sacred another is to see everything as utter nonsense but now your problem is what you like is sacred what you don't like is nonsense that's a problem that's a trap everything is sacred this is a beautiful way to live everything is nonsense that is also a very beautiful way to live what these people are sacred these people are nonsense this will destroy you so is it necessary to do the shambhavi mahamudra to get enlightened isn't there another way it is not that because of shambhavi you get enlightened no we're just trying to create the necessary atmosphere in the body in the mind in the energy system so that flowers can bloom if i put manure will a flower bloom no but yes isn't it will men menu or produce a flower no will water produce a flower no if i peck at the ground will it produce a flower no but if you do all these things you do have flowers isn't it just like that so when i do shambhavi why am i not freaking there are various aspects to this to put it very simply is it my karma yes so is it my bad karma no it is your family's good karma that you don't freak in the morning it's your neighbor's good karma that you don't freak in the morning see karma is not all individual there is also collective karma you must understand this so uh if there is no experience at all i don't think you would have carried on for two years it is just that fireworks are not happening you know what's happening to somebody else is not happening to you that's all the question is so as you've been told don't compare yourself to anybody do not expect anything just do it it's okay i expected nothing i'm doing it and doing it and still nothing is happening if nothing happens that's the greatest thing to happen everybody's working towards that with little something and something and something so whether it's shambhavi or whatever other practice that one does the practice itself is not designed towards an experience the practice is only designed to bring a certain amount of fluidity into your energies it is structured so that gradually as you practice you become more and more fluid on all levels instead of being rigid block of concrete you are becoming little more fluid maybe in one person this becomes love in another person it becomes utter blissfulness in another person it becomes screams in another person he becomes little gentler than what he is in another person he just becomes little more sensible so how we may find expression in each person is according to whatever is missing in his life the practice is not designed to create an experience the practice is only designed to break the barriers so that a rigid concrete block slowly becomes more and more fluid how each being finds expression depends on variety of factors to put it very simply as you put it it is karmic structure what kind of karma but do not ever understand karma as is it my bad karma nothing is happening to me that's not the point there is no such thing as good karma and bad karma if you ask me because karma is like one way of looking at karma is it's a certain bondage it's the only bondage another way of looking at karma is it is your only savior you're alive only because of your karma if i take away all your karma you will be done today right now so karma is both things it's your glue when you want to stick to something glue is a good thing when you want to get away glue is not a good thing so for those who want to stick to something karma is a good thing it's their friend for those who want to become liberated for them karmic glue seems like an enemy so it's just contextual it is not the nature of the karma it is just the context in which you are looking at if you are seeing how to bind yourself the karmic glue is good it's cementing factor if you're seeing how to liberate yourself the karmic glue looks like a binding factor because it is smeared all over you and whatever you touch it sticks to you i want you to just visualize yourself let's say you are smeared with super glue head to toe now i want you to walk through your office your home and whatever else just see in 24 hours time you will be heap of things isn't it you will be one big heap of so many things some things that you want to stick to many things that you don't want to stick to everything will be sticking to you because you have super glue on you so karma is that kind of super glue now when you walk through the world everything sticks to you what you want sticks to you what you don't want sticks to you when what you don't want becomes a large volume of things which are sticking to you then you start looking for liberation when whatever you think you want is sticking to you then at that time the thoughts of liberation does not arise in most people's minds it takes enormous intelligence for a human being to seek liberation when everything in his life is pleasant when everything in his life is good to still seek liberation it takes a certain amount of intelligence when things have gone bad i think any fool will seek liberation there's no question about it so right now shambhavi or shunya is a tool for your liberation slowly weakening the strength of the super glue so that it becomes a weak glue if you want you can pick up and stick it to yourself if you don't want you can pull it and throw it in the bin it gives you that much freedom gradually whether you freaked or you did not freak in the morning doesn't mean anything so uh if you like to walk through the world freaking you can do that if you walk if you want to work to the world sober you can do that but the important thing is is your super glue becoming diluted enough so that you have a choice to choose what sticks to you on what doesn't stick to you has that much choice risen in your life that is slowly definitely happening whether you are able to gauge it or not whether you are able to notice it or not that is definitely happening if you are doing your sadhana regularly that is for sure happening that your super glue is no more super it is just an ordinary glue you can easily pull off things which are sticking to you now earlier when something stuck to you you could never take it off now you are able to take it off and only choose what sticks to you and for how long this is the reason why the family feels very threatened nobody is threatening them nothing is being nobody is telling them nobody is telling anybody anything about these things but suddenly super glue has become just an ordinary glue that if you choose you can stick it otherwise no just the choice threatens people just the freedom of choice threatens people anybody who is threatened by the freedom of choice is a tyrant you should not be stuck to that you have a choice and still you choose to stick that's beautiful if you want to remove the freedom of choice then this is tirani so this tirani is slowly being weakened both from your end and from the whichever other end it's coming to you above all from your end because what's happening from outside is not the relevant thing what's happening from within you that your glue has become a light glue that you can stick things to you by choice no more do you gather a heap of things wherever you go that for sure is happening and that's the reason you're doing sadhana not to disturb your neighborhood if we want to live well both externally and internally how well we live here simply depends on how well we manage our surroundings and how well we manage ourselves fundamentally life is management if you don't know how to maintain your body your mind your emotion your situations your life in general your home your communities nations and the world the quality of our life is just how well we manage things with ourselves but generally we are thinking of management we are applying ourselves to management only in terms of business management or industry management or generally we are talking management only with economic situations not life as a whole anywhere you go today people are talking stress management especially a few years ago when i first went to united states wherever i go people were talking stress management i could not understand why anybody wants to manage stress i can understand you want to manage your business your finance your family your property whatever but why would you want to manage stress it took me a while to understand these people have come to the conclusion that there is no other way to live somehow people have come to the conclusion that if you do things in the world you're bound to be stressful one is not stressful because of what they're doing one is stressful because he's a bad manager of himself he doesn't know how to manage his own systems that is why he's stressful it is not the nature of the job which makes one stressful you ask the chapparasi he is also stressful you ask the top executive he is also stressful everybody believes their job is stressful no job is stressful if you have no control over your own systems you will be stressful whether you do something or you don't do anything isn't it so see management means fundamentally management means we want to decide the course of our destiny that's management isn't it we don't want to live here by accident we want to take our lives where we want to go that's management isn't it so if you're managing by accident you are not a manager without you things will run better so once you say i'm a manager that means somewhere you have decided that you want to go in a particular way you want to have a certain kind of situation both inward and outward so everybody is a manager in his own capacity but in different levels in different types whether you manage a kitchen where you cook for four people or you might manage a large industry where ten thousand people work fundamentally if you want to have a good kitchen or a good industry you must be a good manager of that situation isn't it so whether you're managing a little kitchen or a large industry if you want to manage outside situations generally you will have to manage material and people around you if you have to manage ten people or ten thousand people around you you have to manage ten minds or ten thousand minds around you but if you have no management over your own mind you managing ten thousand miles is going to be a disaster in the process of doing something if we are destroying human beings which is happening right now in the process of managing a situation the man is broken then this kind of management is no good because after all every management that we do is only for human well-being if we are doing management for human well-being in the process of doing something in the process of managing situations it is not only about producing something or making profit human beings should rise to their full potential if we manage a situation properly in simple process of working you and the people who are working with you should be able to raise to their full potential when i say rising to full potential not just work potential but as human beings they must be able to rise to their full potential if people work together then people should be able to rise to the peak of their love peace compassion within themselves if this doesn't happen then it's bad management because all management the basic intent is human well-being if that is not happening you're just producing something you're making little profit but human beings are getting broken in the process it doesn't mean anything so if this kind of management has to happen that just in managing a business you find people around you raised to their peak then you have to spend a certain amount of time in focusing on your inner management if this doesn't happen you will only manage situations by accident a lot of people have understood management as a way of throwing their weight around can i tell you a joke are you okay on a certain day a lion was really feeling great within himself he just was walking and a little rabbit was going he caught him and wrote at him who is the king of the jungle the little rabbit terrified said you you of course you you let him go it around a little bit then he found a fox caught him who is the king of the jungle oh my lord it's you of course nobody else but you then he sagged us swaggered around a little bit caught a few more animals everybody screamed out of fear you are the king of the jungle then he was in full swagger like a manager king of the jungle walked into your clearing in the jungle there there was a huge tusker standing he went stood in front of him and asked who is the king of the jungle the tusker took his trunk rolled him up picked him up twirled him around smashed him to the ground his back broke then the lion said you could have just told me [Applause] but the tusker said you see i had to make my point so a lot of people generally are thinking management means just throwing their weight around throwing your weight around is not management any fool can do that now as there is a science as there is a management science for external well-being there is a management for science for inner well-being it is just that most of the time we have not approached it scientifically we just believing by doing something somehow everything will be okay right now people are thinking by educating themselves they will live happily ever after which you will discover after some time it's not so by getting a job they think they're going to be happy ever after which you will discover it is not so by making money you think you're going to be happy ever after you will discover it is not so somebody thinks by getting married they are going to be ever after and then no it is not so so you're trying to somehow fool yourself into believing that by doing something everything will be okay though repeatedly it has let you down still you believe that something else some other miracle will make everything okay it will not be okay i would like you to understand there is a whole science of inner management if you don't learn that you may manage businesses you may manage industry but still you will not live a life of fulfillment and well-being six years ago when i was doing inner engineering program i was blissfully thinking that this will be the path to nirvana i was happily thinking i will be there then subsequently somebody said no no you have some more programs to do i said okay fine i patiently went through all those programs and then i heard you say that without any expectations you keep doing it i said okay fine i kept doing it now somewhere i read and heard you say that once i sit in front of you or whoever sits in front of you they got the insurance they'll be through i'm just wondering do i have to go through all this or i'm blissfully okay because i got the passport now i just wanted to tell me this guru honestly i would like to know so what you're asking is tomorrow morning should i do my shambhavi or [Applause] you must do it you must do it you must do it so you must understand what is nirvana nirvana means non-existence that means you want to cease to exist it's a negative terminology for mukti we have used this type of word terminologies both the yoga uses both positive and negative terminology but gautama used only negative terminology because he is just on the job he doesn't believe in aesthetics of life he wanted to turn the whole world into monks you know he wanted to turn the entire world into monks he did not allow women into his sangha because he thought if he turns all the men into monks women are fixed anyway it didn't work like that he underestimated life anyway the word nirvan means non-existence we have similar terminology in the yogic thing nirvikalpa but we have nice positive words mukti liberation moksha nice words you know so when you have to be inspired we will talk in positive terminology when you're sufficiently inspired then we don't bother about positive terminology we just say what it's like you know when you suppose you must you met your spouse before marriage you said certain things but after a few months of marriage you start saying what is true that's why the comments at home is something that you must carefully listen because they may be very true they may be sometimes very prejudiced but there may be a certain basis of truth to all this it is just that you may have many facets but one particular facet is what they might have caught on with and there are there all the time talking about it not willing to see the other facets but there is a truth to it because in close proximity when there were no pretensions they have seen you isn't it people outside have seen you when you're ready for the world people at home have seen you when you were vulnerable and when you act is not ready so nirvana means non-existence is that what you are seeking you want to cease to exist is that what you are seeking you want to cease to exist wow what's happening at home because many times when certain things happen at home you want to cease to exist isn't it if it gets very bad initially when the other person matters to you when some things go bad you want to cease to exist after some time when things get bad then you want that person to cease to exist no no it's okay i'm just being nasty that's all so you want to cease to exist then how soon how soon family you get rid oh they all want to live then you must be the cause the family wants to cease to exist you must be the cause isn't it anyway you need to understand this life has come when i say life this this life has come with various dimensions of infrastructure physical infrastructure a certain level of surface software which we call as prarabdha certain deeper software which we call a sanchita and much deeper software which is in the layers of viganoma kosha there are different levels of infrastructure which makes this life what it is so these different levels of infrastructure have to be dismantled entirely if this has to cease to exist if you just dismantle the physical infrastructure the other things are still there dismantling all that subtler infrastructure which is which has far more integrity than the physical infrastructure physical infrastructure is nothing one knock on the head it will break but the rest of the infrastructure is not like that it is much more subtle and much more tenacious and you're generally not conscious what is the nature of that infrastructure so you can't dismantle it so when i said if you sit with me for one moment genuinely not thinking about tomorrow's nirvana genuinely if you sit with me then you don't bother about all these things just live your life do your morning shambhavi do little hatta yoga live your life why because too this is to equip you for life you want to leave soon then there's another kind of sadhana we can do but i am not willing to do because i'll be in trouble in today's world so we do sadhana to a certain pitch you played the snake and the ladder game what do you call it telugu huh the snake and lad again okay okay that's a good name so in the snake and light of the game if you put five you'll go up if you put six you doom you went down again you went up three again you went down four endlessly this is happening but there's a last line once you go there no question of going down but it's only one one one one this whole game is very similar to it's very i don't know who came up with this name why kunta pai it's perfect it's a perfect name i i didn't know there was a name like that i thought something palm or something they would say that no so the last one once you enter the last line no question of falling down anymore so we can make sure you don't fall back but still you have to get one one one to finish the game all right otherwise you can be sitting right there those who are at the bottom rung can come up and go ahead of you but you can still be right there if you don't do one one one but no question of coming down i can make sure you don't come down but you have to make sure that one one one happens for that nothing to do you just have to wait simply wait and keep throwing it you don't know skill simply throw it throw it throw it through it one one will come another one will come something will happen you'll go but the insurance is you use the word insurance is no going down once no going down has happened no concern anymore yes anyway i'm getting that it's just a question of time but when there is a possibility you went all the way up on boom you can go down that's a different level of anxiety isn't it that's a different level of anxiety so we can ensure you get to the last line last line you have to wait because there are other people in the line you have to get one one one one and slowly go how many houses usually they're on the top ten is it ten so the last ten eleven you have to get so nothing to do no skill needed just do morning yoga so that rygar mortis does not set in too early in your life do somebody so that life is alive and on is worth living just wait it'll happen at least going down is gone from life that's good enough no not good enough we get you to the last line is that not good enough i'm asking you but if i have to crack the shell myself not that it cannot be done but we won't do such things for various reasons many many reasons why we do not do such things it's not necessary because every life has to find that way there's no need to intervene to that extent it's not necessary to do such an invasive process unnecessary if at all if we do such a thing we will do it with somebody who's already lost their physical mass only with such beings not those who still have a body you have a business to conduct some part of your life isn't it right now i hear there's only one phone in the united states is the iphone it's a good phone but what we are forgetting is the eye the iphone is all right but the eye is the most important thing iphone is just a little gadget produced by this larger gadget this is the gadget isn't it all the other gadgets have been produced by this gadget if you pay little attention to this one if the necessary understanding and awareness and ability to transform this gadget happens within you your ability to live will be greatly greatly enhanced then outside technologies are not a barrier outside technologies are a boon that's been offered to us but the boons that have been offered to us are turning into curses in people's lives simply because they have not taken care of this one they are only trying to take care of the external situation we have done a lot of engineering in the world outside and because of this we have a huge level of comfort and convenience in the world today the kind of comfort and convenience that no other generation of people could have ever imagined that level of comfort and convenience we have though we have this though we are the most comfortable generation ever on the planet we cannot claim that we are the most peaceful generation we cannot claim we are the most joyful or loving generation on the planet for sure so in many ways this generation is becoming the most neurotic generation or most complaining generation because we have taken care of the outside but we have not taken care of the inside the world is engineered the way we want it but are we engineered the way we want ourselves to be so there is a certain way to engineer our system to make this body to make this mind to very chemistry within us the way we want it if our wish to be is to be blissful to make the world blissful it would take too many things but to make this one person blissful a willing person somebody who wants to be blissful it shouldn't be difficult at all but this has not been done because people have never paid attention to the mechanics of how our human being functions and to engineer that the way we want it so these are technologies for inner well-being everybody wants health peace blissfulness but these are simple things why these things are not happening is we have never paid attention to the inner mechanism of what a human being is to pay attention to that and to create it the way we want it this is inner engineering there's significantly more ease in the way i live my life today than i did before i still have the exact same stressors the same difficult patience the same hectic schedule the same emergencies that require working late into the night however i do them with far more joy than i've ever done in fact my efficiency is at work is far greater now than it has ever been and my stress level is more than it's ever been i've always been one of those people with so much energy and i've always had lots of trouble sitting still my parents didn't know what to do they put me in track and i ran so i could run it out but always whenever i would just sit i it would be no more than a couple minutes so after i took into engineering i've been able to really be much calmer and be more content within myself and be able just to be wherever i am and not be thinking i need to do this i need to run around and do this i lost 40 pounds my cholesterol went from 210 to 149 and my blood pressure is a lot lower and my lifelong allergies have completely disappeared inner engineering gave me the gift of the moment that joy is there now there is a sense of appreciation in very small things we will teach a certain process which is known as the shambhavi mahamudra this is a way of activating your energies in such a way that the very fundamental chemistry in your body will alter itself within a matter of two to three weeks one can even measure this in the laboratory such experiments have been done how the blood chemistry changes within three weeks of practice has been recorded and you can make your chemistry a chemistry of blissfulness once your system come to comes to absolute ease there will be no disease what is being taught is a scientific process step by step it we thought we need 28 hours to impart this 28 to 30 hours of focused time so it takes that much time to practically and experientially impart this one aspect of the program is to bring a deeper understanding to their own system to their physical system to their energy system to their chemistry to their emotional aspects of them and also the psychological structures once they understand few basics then we teach methods with which they can make these dimensions within themselves in a conscious manner it was a wonderful experience i'm a physician and i can't tell you how much it's going to help me with my stress and also i have to incorporate in my practice too it was beyond my words that is important and most needed element in here for the human being i think this is one of the best things that has happened to me like i meditate but uh so i was expecting a few things from this course but whatever i got was way better and way uh bigger than what i had expected so i i think it has changed my life in a fundamental way it was excellent i love it yeah it's very inspiring it does not demand any lifestyle changes it just takes only 21 minutes of your day if you're willing to dedicate 21 minutes of your day to this simple process it has been life transforming for millions of people this is not a religion this is not some kind of a teaching this is not a philosophy this is a technology one has to just learn how to use it like how you learn to use your iphone similarly you learn to use this eye to its optimum level to its fullest capacity asia foundation is 100 volunteer organization the volunteers are taking it to the people because it's made such a big difference in their life and they want to share it their dedication their time their life is being given to make this happen to many other people and this is my wish and my blessing that every human being we do not know what you will achieve in the outside world or not but this much every human being deserves that his experience of life on this planet is a pleasant experience this much everybody is able to do if only if they turn inward these simple tools will help people to bring themselves to a new level of balance and pleasantness within themselves this is something every human being deserves
