this is my second sinville Mini Split unit to install and there are some things I've learned on this one that I didn't find out on the last one if you're using multiple zones and you want to vacuum down your system what the manual doesn't tell you is you don't have to vacuum down each and every one of the lines you could just go to this one here which is your main this is your main line instead of hooking up your vacuum system to each one of these lines and check it each one hook it up to just this main one right here but then you have to open up each one of these valves using your allen wrench each vowel has got to be completely open I for my own reasons I always open up the low side first the low side is the the bigger lines and then I open up the high pressure side and then I'll start my pump that'll do the vacuum down and I'll read my gauges to ensure that I have no leaks so let's take a look I'm trying to prop this camera up so maybe you can see what I'm doing let's see about right there hopefully we can see there all right right about there okay now I'm gonna finish opening up these valves you don't force them open you just back them up until you hear the hydrogen that's not coolant that's actually a hydrogen that they put inside the system to ensure that it has no leaks in transport if you didn't hear that then I'd be a little concerned meaning that I could have an internal leak you turn each one of them open until it stops Don't Force It and you can hear the hydrogen release on each one you have the same thing on your indoor units okay so now I have all the high side open and all four are the low pressure open I have my line for my vacuum pump hooked up and I have my yellow line onto my pump we're not using this high pressure line the red one we're only going to be using the low pressure so what we want to do is first we want to open this line here make sure it's all the way open and now we're going to turn on the pump now you see the gauge is going down to about the negative almost negative 30. what we're going to do is let this system run for about 20 minutes half hour and then we'll come back and we'll check it ready to check it first thing we will do holes this line once we close this line then we'll shut off this pump when we shut off that pump this line This gauge should remain right where it's at we'll leave that gate for about another 15-20 minutes come back if that gauge is right where it's at your system is ready to operate if it has moved it tells you that there's a leak in one of your lines and then you have to go through the process of tracing everything down okay I hope this video helped you because I looked at a lot of YouTube videos for me to get this much up six
