Self Sharpening Chainsaw

what's up guys hey y'all done for today's video I'm going to show you something amazing well it looks like an amazing idea so we're going to put it to the test as you know wint have been freezing this year and I've been burning a lot of firewood and I always look for the easier way to cut firewood well I got here a chainsaw and they said here Oregon bar and the chainsaw chain comes with a self sharpening jinsub chain how cool is that usually you probably seen in my older videos it takes a while to sharpen up your chainsaw and it's a process about 10-15 minutes even this setting up and breaking it down it's just annoying but cutting with the door saw is even harder so it's really a pain fighting with your door saw all the time so this self sharpening chainsaw is supposed to make it really easy to sharpen up chainsaw well first of all let's see how this chainsaw chin looks like it's a lot different compared to regular chain so chain and let's see how well it's going to cut this what they're gonna change so looks like except it's sitting upside down this need to point the other way I think I made a mistake last time I set it up but you see how it looks like and this is the new chainsaw that I'm going to put to the test you see how it's very very different not too much different but pretty different so the sharpening stone that I'm about to show you it's not gonna work on a regular chainsaw you have to have this bar and a special chain and this chain scission and a bar was not capable with the 18 inch chain saw so I got one of this chain saw said here I got here Hoss one a 240 I know that it works this chain works with this hispana so I had to get another chain saw to put this blade to the test [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] very nice [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I don't like the class 1 machine so as much still but not better [Music] [Music] hey guys I've been cutting firewood for like two hours I cut up so much firewood and this chainsaw does not get high quality chainsaw chain it can cut a lot of firewood before it's going to get dull so what I'm gonna do is start it up and run it on a stone do not try it at home but this is how you can dole it out really easily into the dirt or on the rocks so I'm gonna do it out then we're going to try to cut it and we'll see how dull it is and then we'll try to sharpen it up in seconds and see if it's actually works [Laughter] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] that's it all that you get completed off [Music] [Applause] [Music] so as you can see this chainsaw is definitely door cutting this look very slow so let's try to sharpen it up in seconds with this way a pinch so all you have to do is open this part and look there is a stone ight here sharpening stone and then it's just gonna go in here on a second hole I think yep like that when the first you see the stone will touch the blade the sharpening stone and that way it will get sharpen it up that's such a good idea let's see if it's actually works [Applause] and now let's see if it's actually fully sharpened or not now I'm going to shut off the chin so of course let's take that off then let's see if it's sharp enough for us to cut and look that storm is gonna last for a while that's for sure and then you can buy a placement stone so you don't have to buy the whole thing to sharpen it again let's see how well it did [Applause] [Music] easily [Music] [Laughter] like new mommy and I just learned this chainsaw chain on a lock it was so dull and within 30 seconds it sharp like new look I think this log is and even this one listens black locust this is a very dense old blog very died out log and it had no problem after 30 seconds of sharpening and up cutting this log and this is 16 inch chain so it's not even that powerful so a year in my book honesty I wish it would work with steel chain saws and a lot more different chin sauce it does not cut compatible with every chain saws so you gotta make sure that it's going to work with the with your chin so before you buy this chainsaw bar and chain saw chain and this sharpener it's actually a kid it's all comes at once it's about $40 and once you have a bar and this sharpener all you have to do is buy new chains after they wear out and the new sharpening rock so it will be a lot cheaper to replace it but overall honestly this is it this is the best way the fastest way to sharpen up your chainsaw I'm I am very mind blowing it is really amazing I think I'm going to be starting using this chainsaw with this blade a lot more often than any other chainsaws just because how much easier it is to sharpen it up and cut in wood with a very sharp chainsaw chains is a big difference huge difference some of you already know that well guys that's pretty much it huge thumbs up for me for this gadget definitely going to use it and thank you for watching don't forget to thumbs up this video and I'll see you next time
