you're the second chapter 25th through the 27th verse joy the second chapter I don't know who it's for but literally he pushed me into my promise so that he can perform his perfect work in this place and bless you with this word you pressed your way wasn't easy you almost didn't show up some of y'all didn't show up and you still watching us on the internet why because God has a word for you the enemy fought me because he didn't want me to give you this word that ought to tell you that this word is going to change your generations that your legacy is going to be better because of this word that he's about to prophetically proclaim over your life thus saith the Lord your God Joel the second chapter the 25th to 27th verse so I will restore to you the years a pain of heartache headache of health stress tests mass loss suffering I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten the crawling locusts the consuming locusts and the chewing locusts my great army which I sent among you I'm reading from the New King James Version in verse 26 it says that you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God who has dwelt wondrously with you and my people shall never be put to shame then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel I am the Lord your God and there is no other and my people shall never be put to shame tell your neighbor of his people so I will restore to you the years at the swarming locust has eaten the crawling locusts the consuming lookers the chewing locust my great army which I sent among you and you shall eat plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God Father gotta the name of Jesus I can't do it without you stand up in me that you might be glorified in this place let the power of the Holy Spirit of the anointing of the Holy Ghost take complete control utter control of my members thank you for restoration and healing now in the name of Jesus Christ thank you God that you've already repositioned and refashioned us so that we couldn't meet in this place punctuate time so that you can help us to reach eternity we give you glory we give you honor we give you praise for the victory in Jesus name that everybody that has a heart of expectation shout glory come on have you expecting much shout much shout glory hallelujah and amen on your way to your seat tell your neighbor God will restore I don't know who that's for today but God sent me to tell you that tell somebody else on the other side God will restore don't know you gotta tell to yourself now because you you might not be convinced because you didn't sound too convincing when you told them so this time just talk to yourself say sell God will restore thank you Jesus some of you are like me you've lost some things you've lost some friendships you've lost some time that has been wasted you've lost some money you've lost some jobs you've lost some family members you've lost focus and let's be honest about it if you really like me you've almost lost your mind there's been times when you've lost some things but God gave me this word and this is going to be unusual you might as well take your Bibles back out because I promise you were gonna read this whole thing it's gonna be a little bit unusual a little bit different I told y'all up front this is gonna be a different type of service God will just let me just take a people poll right quick how many have lost some things okay oh you can put him down honey he lost a whole lot of things as a matter of fact let me do this last one I promise last one how do you love some people God will restore some of us have lost joy peace we've had sleepless nights oh we've lost rest God will restore I really don't know what you've lost but I do know one thing for sure God will restore everything that you've lost I'm not worried about it I'm not doubting God I'm not panicked I'm not stressed out I know that sometimes when you call your pastor you call in a panic oh my god what am I going to do I just came to tell you one thing God will restore now now say it to yourself because I need you to convince yourself say God will restore in the text and we're gonna go to the first chapter of Joel the first chapter in the text you'll find it let me give you a little bit of the backdrop that this is the Prophet Joel or Joel depending on your pronunciation your enunciation of the word but this is the Prophet Joelle who is he's assigned to a specific tribe or region or segment of Israel or God's people and the region or the tribe that he's assigned to is called Judah Judah is significant because it literally translates or means praise so he's assigned to the tribe whose very name identifies them by praise are you with me he's assigned to a tribe called Judah now the Simon in this particular dispensation of time was not one that was easy and any profit that was assigned by God to deliver a word from God was never excited nor anticipated it readily because it was always something that was bigger than they felt the capacity to deliver in their own power you got to know that the reason Jonah ran was not just because Jonah didn't want to be with God or didn't want to do what God told him to do but the assignment that Jonah had on his life was so great because he had to go tell the Ninevites to return to God to repent from their wicked ways so that God would restore them and bring them into a place that he would redeem their all of their mistakes so he didn't want to talk to the Ninevites because the Ninevites were some cruel people the Ninevites were some bad dudes they literally would would make a mockery of people that tried to do anything that was offensive and that had that countered their own wheel of their own ways and so they'd go down and have an assignment to go tell the Ninevites that the Lord the Lord is trying to tell you something and you guys are out of order would have been suicide in Jonah's mind because these men was so mean and so cruel that they would literally skin you alive turn you backwards on an animal a beast and run you through the whole city so that everybody would know don't mess with us again so anytime a prophet was given an assignment to bring a word it was not necessarily accepted with open arms or was it wasn't something that they readily desired to do but in obedience they would humble themselves and they would trust God enough to step up to the plate and deliver the word even when it wasn't popular and even when it wasn't comfortable and I realized that a lot of people show up at church because your desire is for me to give you a comfortable word but the truth of the matter is this assignment today is not necessarily one that's gonna bring you comfort before it brings you to joy Joelle was given an assignment to speak to the people of Israel the tribe literally in specific juda it was given assignment to prophesy to them because they had literally they had strayed away from God they had moved out of the grace and the will of God and now it had created turmoil chaos and even drama began to ensue and God sent waves of locusts the army which he sent is what the scriptural text says he sent waves of locusts not just one kind of locusts but he sent another kind of locusts behind the work first wave until everything in their path was desolate and desperate they had been completely annihilated of crop vegetation anything that was green and growing the locusts had come in waves in swarms and had shewn a chuda and destroyed devastated every bit of their crops or their increase for their capacity to sustain their own lives all because they disobeyed God and in fact turned away from the will of God and any time in scripture you read about locusts it is indicative of oh referring to the judgment of God in Exodus 2:10 shop that you see locusts that are coming on the scene because of Pharaohs actions he refused to honor the Word of God and release the people of God and as a result locusts swarmed in and took over the territory you see it again in Deuteronomy the 28th chapter in Amos chapter 6 and chapter 2 chapter 4 rather in Chapter 7 you see locusts coming in and ransacking and ravaging the land as a result of judgment coming from God and so the prophet Joelle has an awesome assignment in front of them and it is to deliver a message to the people of God that says listen you have turned away from God turn back and repent and God will then honor you with his promise look at chapter 1 Joel the first chapter the first verse says the word of the Lord that came to joelle son of perfume and verse 2 it says here this hear this you elders listen all of you who a lot who live in the land has anything like this ever happened before or in the days of your ancestors and then he goes on in verse 3 it says tell your children about it let your children tell their children and their children another generation what the chewing locust left the swarming locust have eaten what the swarming locust left the crawling locust has eaten and what the crawling locusts left the consuming locust has eaten awake you drunkards and weep and wail all you drinkers of wine because of the new wine for it has been cut off from your mouth for a nation has come up against my land my strong and without number his teeth are like the teeth of a lion and his fangs are a fierce lion he has laid waste my vine he has ruined the fig tree he has stripped it bare and thrown it away its branches are made white in other words everything that was growing has now been consumed and is dying look at verse 8 and 10 the problem is not only that they turn their hearts from God but verses 8 through 10 tells us that they've turned something else away from God and it has caused judgment to fall on their circumstance that's the reason that they're in such a desperate situation verse 8 he says lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth the grain offering and the drink offering have been cut off from the house of the Lord the priests mourn who ministered to the Lord the field is wasted the land mourns for the grain is ruined that new wine has dried up the oil fails he says all of this dry season all of this desolation all of the depression of degradation all of the destruction is a result of not only from you turn in your heart from God but you now turn your offerings from God first chapter verses 11 and 12 gives another picture of the condition he says be ashamed you farmers whale you buying dresses for the wheat and the barley because the harvest of the field has perished the vine has dried up the fig tree is withered the pomegranate tree the palm tree the apple tree all the trees of the field are now withered surely joy has withered away from the sons of men in other words it's a sad day everything has dried up and I know that for some of you you feel like that in your personal lives and your circumstance that God it seems like nothing will grow and if you can't look at your personal life just look at the condition of the world right now it seems like everything is drying up that hope is being attacked on a continual basis look at the condition and the plight of what's going on even in this just just our governmental structure seems like everything is dying and being ravaged and ransacked and then in verse 13 through 20 God turns the table he says now this is the condition that you have tell your children and your children's children about the circumstance look at the condition that is in look at how everything is drying up but now this is the instructions instructions that he gives in verse 13 through 20 he says I just need you to turn back to me and act in a spirit of repentance verse 13 he says I'm only gonna read 13 and 14 but he says gird yourselves and lament you priests wail you who minister before the altar come lie all night in sackcloth you who minister to my God for the grain offering and the drink offering are withheld from the house of your God consecrate a fast call a sacred assembly gather the elders pull together the victory workers is that in y'all's version and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God and cry out worship wail lament reach towards heaven to the Lord cry out to the Lord all this judgment was brought on them because they turned their hearts they are offering their lives away from God and then God turns the corner and gives us the blessed assurance that we all should be rejoicing about because he says as bad as it is and so much as you've lost as as dire as your circumstance seems I'm a god of another chance and I'm so glad that it's not a second chance because I think I've used up all my second chances but I'm glad that God when he looks at our condition that he doesn't leave us in the position and the condition that he finds us but he gives us another check somebody ought to thank God that was a good place to shout right there God always gives us another chance truth be told you look down your road you'll see another chance truth be told when you look in the mirror and think about all the mistakes that you've made all the wrong that you've done all the failures fault shortcomings hang-ups holdups if you look at all as a matter of fact go open your closet door see how many bones and skeletons fold up out of it you ought to be able to shout God thank you for another chance thank God for another chance God turns the corner now let's go to chapter 2 verse 18 God turns the corner and says now that you see the condition now that you see the plight of your people now that you've heard my call to repentance the entire verses for 1 through 17 is nothing more than God saying I need you back I need your heart back I need your worship back I need to be a priority again I need your I need the love and the passion that you had when you first found me back I need you to worship me like you really know who I am I need that back I need the kind of praise that when I look at you in your eyes and you look at me in my eyes that you see me in you and I see you in me I need you I need you back to the extent that I don't have to beg you and you don't feel so lofty and so hardly to the extent that you're doing me a favor just because you showed up on a Sunday morning I need when you open your eyes in the morning that you still think about me before you think about what you gotta do in your day I need before you go to bed at night that you still reflect on my goodness that you still give me glory that you still honor me I just need your back I've been looking for you so long you turned away from me everything else gets more time than I do you give more time than your job I gave you the job I just need you need your back I need you I need you back I need you back I need you back I need you back I need your praise back I need your adoration back I need you to look at me with these starry eyes that you're looking at that brother with I need your back I I need you to look at me the way that I look at you I need you to look at me like life itself like I need you to know that I am your source said that all these other things are your resource I need to be a priority again can I go to the top of your list can you put me on can you take your pencil me in turn your eat me in can you write me into your day somewhere can I spin sometime can I walk with you sometimes can I just whisper some stuff in your ear can I tell you what I need you to know so you can be victorious I need need you back but you've been I've been looking for you all day in the daytime with a flashlight where you been I need you back God says I need you back turn from your wicked ways and give me a chance I need you back and then he he combination she says when you do this this is what I'm about to do for you says I know I know you messed up you not by yourself it's the whole church full of you from the past until appeal with everybody in here has followed short I know you messed up as a matter of fact you don't think I know how bad when you were in it I was there if you make your bed inhale I'm there your sin to the highest mountain I'm there you take up wings on the morning and fly to the uttermost parts of the world don't worry I'm still there you check into the motel 6 and they turn the light off I'm there when you snuck in the back door I had already come in the front door I'm there when you ducked me and didn't show up for worship because you thought that it was some kind of way excuse your lack of relationship with me I was there when you fail I was there when you were wounded I was there when they took this from you when they took that from you I was there when you lost this when you lost that I was there he said I saw you and all of that was me tapping you on the shoulder saying just turn back to me let me fix it let me heal you let me restore you let me mend you let me put you back together again let me lift you let me elevate you let me handle it let me do it I got it I was there he says and when you turn back to me this is what I'm gonna do for you first of all in verse 18 God gives us the indication that he will release us after you run out of chances he gives you another chance the question has to be asked why does God keep giving us another chance verse 18 clarifies it for you it shows that he will release you then the Lord was jealous for his land and he took pity on his people he releases you from the penalty of what you should have experienced because he takes pity upon you the singer saying she was singing a song and said I love the Lord he heard my cry and he pitied every one of my groans somebody ought to thank God that he took pity on you let me say it a different way somebody need to thank God that he had mercy upon you that you didn't die in the mess that you made that he didn't let you suffer the penalty of what you should have suffered according to how bad you messed up but he had mercy on you the fact that he had mercy on you or they give you confidence and maybe evidence that he is worthy to be celebrated to be acknowledged to be reverence to be respected to be revered because he took pity on you and he released you from the penalty of what you were supposed to experience but then not only that he says I'm not just going to take pity on you but but watch how I'm gonna treat you in verse 19 the Bible says the Lord will answer and say to his people he says not only will I release you but I'm gonna respond to you and I'm glad that when I call him I don't have to worry about him just listening but I can watch and wait for him to respond it's a whole lot of people that will listen to your circumstance but they not gonna respond to your circumstance you telling the business to all the wrong people because ain't none of them responding in a way that's gonna pull you out of your situation stop responding stop telling people and wailing and crying out in the beauty shop come on somebody and start responding to God because he then we'll turn around and answer you I don't know about you but I don't need people to respond I need God to respond people's response time is too slow people's response time is predicated upon how they feel at the time people will respond if they if they like you today but if they don't like you today then you're gonna get no response people respond if you if you're not getting higher than they are today they'll respond as long as you beneath them but they don't really want to respond if it's gonna cause you to go above them come on somebody but God is consistent he is constant his response time is relentless and his response record is accurate and it never fails I love the Lord because he responds God will release us God will respond but God says that ain't all I'm gonna do I'm gonna also remember you in verse 19 to be part of that he says behold I will send you grain and new wine and oil new wine new oil and you will be satisfied by them and I will no longer make you a reproach among the nation's I will remember what you have gone through I will remember what you have lost I have not forgotten you how many of us have ever been in a season that's been so dry that you wandered Lord did you forget to bless me I don't know if you'll be honest with it today or not but I gotta be honest with myself there's been some moments where I say God surely you must have forgotten about me but God says no I didn't forget about you I will remember Philippians 4:19 and my God shall supply all my needs not according to what I see right here but according to his riches which our glory he says I will remember you Matthew 28 and 20 he says lo I am with you always Deuteronomy 31 and 6 be strong and courageous do not be afraid or terrified because of them for the Lord your God he/she goes with you and he will never leave you nor will he forsake you God says I gotcha I remember I remember what the devil did to you and I will remember you when I'm handing out blessings I'm gonna remember you when the increase is falling I'm gonna remember you in the favour is coming down I will remember you they may forget what you've done for them they may forget what has happened they may forget how you bless them how you respected them how you love them how you honor them how you treat them but I'm never gonna forget how you worship me how you bless me how you honored me how you treat me I will remember tell your neighbor God remembers he says I'll release you from the penalty of your circumstance I'll respond just because you called on me I'm gonna answer you I remember I remember how you treated me and I'll remember when I'm handing out blessings but then he goes on to say I'll not only do that I'll also remove in verse 20 he says but I will remove far away from you the northern army and will drive him away into a barren and desolate land with his face toward the eastern sea and his back toward the western sea his stench will come up foul odor will rise because he has done monstrous things other words goddess in I will drive your enemy far away from you everything and everybody that tried to destroy everything I was trying to build don't sweat it I got him I will drive them so far from you you will forget their name come on here somebody I will remove you didn't have strength enough to remove so I had to remove it for you you didn't have power when you remove them you just push them back a little bit but I'm gonna shut the door in such a dynamic way that when you get done they're gonna be so far from you you're gonna forget the pain that they ever caused in your life I will rip it somebody else thank God that he removes some stuff God you remove some stuff and you remove some people somebody just tell God thank you take 10 seconds and tell them thank you that some stuff could not stay sickness I'm gonna remove it plain I'm gonna remove it all right I'm gonna remove it haters I'm gonna remove it when I remove it it's gonna be so far they're gonna be lost I'm not gonna know how to get back to you God will remove he says I will release you from the penalty of your pain I will respond cuz you called me I'm gonna answer I will remove I would remember but then he says not only that after I've removed you you're prepared to your condition you're ready and so I'm gonna send rain in the next verse in 2021 he says fear not o land be glad and rejoice for the Lord has done marvelous things do not be afraid you beast of the field for the open pastures are springing up and the trees bear its fruit the fig tree and the vines yield their strength in other words I'm gonna bless you with so much rain so much favor so much grace so much increase that not only are you gonna be blessed but notice in the text he says don't sweat it you piece of the field you're gonna be so incredibly blessed that even your animals are gonna receive your blessing I wish I had somebody that realized what he was saying every thing attached to you come on this is the prophetic word of the Lord every body that is attached to you everybody that carries your name everybody that has your DNA everything that is in your household everything that is in your possession everything that you've got my family in charge over is gonna be blessed when he sins all right what's this what's this I promise I'm almost done this is almost it I promise listen not only this he says be glad then you children of Zion I'm at 23 steel and rejoice in the Lord your God for he has given you the former rain faithfully and he will cause the rain to come down for you the former rain and the latter rain in the first month now watch this the former rain and the latter rain the former rain that's everything that was everything that came everything that you thought had gone the former rain and that means in addition to everything I've lost he's going to add to it and give me more rain more blessings more increase more favor no joy more anointing then I had winner [Applause] I smell rain in this place I feel the anointing of the Holy Ghost kicking in somebody's coming into a new season and it's about to shock right bugbear mama a grandmama and I used to sit on the front porch and she would knit quilts she used to teach me how to knit quilts some days we would sit out there and she'd go to rubbing her knees she said my knees are they can soak up my more strong with you see that's about to rain and so I understand how you noticed about the rain she said when when it's not raining get ready to rain you can smell it in the ass I don't smell nothing she said but my joints start aching so I know that the rain is on the way last night at midnight majority started aching because I knew by the time I got here at 10 o'clock service that somebody was don't get caught dancing in the rain I don't need an umbrella catch me in the rain rain down flavor right down showing right down a new anointing it's about the rain it's about to rain God will restore it's that simple I know y'all waiting on the deep part but that's it God will restore I know it hurt I know you've been through hell I know it's been a dry season I know it seemed like it lost so much I know you smell it seemed like it hurt so much like the devil took so much but smell rain and God wail everybody connected to me you'll miss this everybody connected to me need to stay connected because God's about to rain some stuff in 2018 on this church on this ministry that everything connected to this house is going to be abundantly blessed I can't speak for everybody but for we who receive that word and I spirit I need you to praise God because you know that restoration is not and he's about to do an incredible thing God will restore God will restore my testimony God will restore don't look too far just look right here God will you're gonna tell the devil I'm back and stronger than hell so restore to you the years that the locusts have eaten crawling locusts the consuming locusts the chilling locusts everything that the devil stole from you I'm gonna bring it back to you God we serve is about to restore everything everything that the devil stole your career God will restore your marriage God will destroy your anointing God will restore your ministry God will restore your career God will restore your joy will restore your health God will restore young children God will your grandchildren God will your finances God will your peace God will [Applause] God sent this word to your family God sent this word to your desolation God sent this word to the destruction that was existing in your life before you turn back to him God sent this word before you turn your heart back towards him and he's telling me to tell everything that has been holding your increased hostage that's enough you got to release their joy that's enough you got to release their pain that's enough you got to release their increase that's enough this is the day not next year not not not next week but today is the day God sent me on divine assignment to tell you that he's telling the devil that's enough I'm reinstating the divine restraining order on their life touch not a half from their head leave their increase alone leave their finances alone leave their sleep alone leave their peace alone that's enough get out of their house leave their children alone I'm being a hedge of protection all around them that's enough you've been through the dry season now that you're turning towards me I can drive towards your enemy and when I Drive your enemy away you're not going to even know that your enemy has ever been there that's enough [Applause] I don't know who I'm speaking to but God told me to tell you he's about to restore everything that the devil stole from you everything that you thought you lost everything that the keiko worms have stolen everything that the locusts have eaten God says that's enough this is your season and thus saith the Lord that everything that you thought would never come back it's coming back but it's coming back with increase I'm gonna give you double for your trouble so what I need you to do is pay attention to the season it just shifted in your life the atmosphere just changed put on your good clothes put on your dancing shoes get your praise ready get your shot ready get your hallelujah ready drape yourself clothe yourself Glasson yourself in a garment of praise because what I'm about to do is show next level it's gonna blow your mind what I need you to do is believe me how do I know you believe me because when you believe me when you're excited about something you don't have to wait till you get there you don't have to wait till this in the Baker you don't have to wait till your name is on it you don't have to wait for your neighbor to sign off you don't have to wait on your family members to agree with you but you can see it you can sense it if you smell rain their range get them D in the race praise Him in the rain in the rain [Music] [Music] [Applause] yeah it's my season you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied you shall eat plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God you shall eat living and be satisfied that means you're gonna have more than enough you're gonna have enough to be filled to the point that's who can kick your heels up and be satisfied you worried about increased God says I got that what's this Clemmy has nothing to do with your bank account plenty that's nothing to do with your degrees pliny has nothing to do with your network or your net worth plenty has nothing to do with your capacity to know the right people plenty has nothing to do with financial breakthrough on your part but God says I'll take care of the plenty because I am your source all of the rest of this stuff is a resource he said but I'll take care of the pleading his but read read read if you read the next part and praise the name of the Lord your God I'll take care of the plenty you take care of the praise I'm waiting to see is there anybody in this place that's got the level of praise that will cause plenty down in your life the more you breathe the more you bless you the buyer brave the far Kilson finish any good room many appraised and cause you to miss your breakthrough your one praise one glory to God one hallelujah one thank you Jesus away from your planning one good show one good dance one lifted on their hands away from your plenty so on the count of three this is your last dance and your last chance to tell God I'm expecting rain I'm looking for a breakthrough I'm expecting a miracle I'm late no my increase looking he remembers it hurts you feel lonely but it's not over God remembers he's just waiting on you to turn back to him you've been waiting on stuff but he's been waiting on you he says no good thing will I withhold from them that love me you're not finished you're not gonna die in this season the fact that you're here to hear this message the fact that somebody allowed you access to this word means that he ain't done with you if you were supposed to be finished it would have already exhausted your lungs of the capacity to breathe blood would have already stopped circulating through your circulatory system your mind would have already shut down never in neuron would stop firing by now the fact that you are here to hear God breath in your body blood in your veins cognitive capacity to understand means that God is not finished with you [Music] you weren't meant to die here [Music] he's just been waiting on you to turn back toys yeah he's been waiting on you to give him priority he's been waiting on you to say that he is Lord then he is just Savior he's not finished and I don't care what it looked like I don't care what the doctor said I don't care what your friend said your give us more in our latter season thank you the truth of the matter is we want to be honest with you God and talk to you like we you our friend many of us are hurt emotionally wounded confused dazed scared afraid timid terrified we have lack we have warned we have Berenice we have desolation circumstance is degraded to a point that we really didn't think we were gonna ever be able to make it but
