Sean Lowe Says His Pet Dog Ellie Is His 'Favorite Child' After He & Catherine Welcome Baby No. 2

talk to us a little bit about the Banfield foundation and why you got on board yeah it's been a wonderful partnership for me because it's near and dear to my heart so last year during hurricane Harvey I live in Dallas and I was hearing on the news about all this devastation and how they desperately needed help with evacuation so I didn't have a boat I didn't know how I would help but I got on Twitter and I asked anyone hey does anyone have a boat near Dallas or Houston that I could borrow so I could help and one lady was nice enough to let me borrow her boat and so I did and I went down to Houston and I helped as much as I possibly could so I got to see that devastation firsthand and it was like nothing like I've ever seen before and through that I saw people were clinging to their pets and I heard a lot of stories of pets that were just kind of left maybe people weren't prepared to take care of them or the water rose so fast so quickly that they just had to get themselves out and their pets were left stranded so a lot of really sad stories like that and so the Banfield foundation is just raising awareness like hey let's let's make sure our pets are prepared in case the worst case scenario happens to us because most people don't think you know I don't think that'll ever happen to me until it happens so we want to make sure they've got these great little disaster preparedness kits with essentials like food and water so you can grab them if you need to get out with your pet and your pets gonna be well taken care of if you're like me your pet is gonna be part of your family and so we want to make sure that they're taken care of so you can visit Benfield punishin org slash disaster and a lot more yeah we we have an 11 year-old chocolate lab named Ellie and she's probably my favorite child she's she's incredible I've had her long before even I was married and so it's kind of special she's been through all these different chapters of my life and everyone would say to me you know once you have kids your dog is gonna take a back seat and I think I'm so conscious of that that I don't want her to take a back seat now I show her more love than I ever did so yeah she's very special she probably has another 20 years or so left dinner yeah so the low house is more full has gotten more full recently yeah how is it being a dad a few I it's it's great this new baby Isaiah he just sleeps a ton hey but it it feels different to be a family of four that feels like it like a real family a a family of three just didn't have the same feeling so now it's like alright I'm a dad you know my dad had a family of four and now I'm in his shoes so this is it almost makes me feel a little bit more grown-up yeah I know I don't feel like I'm mature enough to take on this responsibility but ready or not it's here thank you I'll take that so you is there anything that you do that drives Kathryn see everything everything but that's the fun of marriage right I don't know I I think my biggest hang-up is I like to entertain myself first and foremost and so I do all these things that I think are funny like talking dumb voices or you know things like that and it drives her crazy but it makes myself laugh so you know I I tell her all the time you know you agreed to marry me you've signed up for it so it's kind of your fault you put yourself in this position yeah yes she she went through a lot she probably deserves better but you know I love her she she puts up with me you
