it is my custom to appeal to you to stand as we study god's word matthew chapter number 13. examine with me from verse number 47 matthew 13 from verse number 47. it says and again the kingdom of heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind it says that when the net was full they dragged it up onto the shore sat down and sorted the good fish into crates but through the bad ones away repeat after me say many accord some are rejected many are called some are rejected god bless you may be seated matthew chapter number 22 and verse 14 jesus says many are called but few are chosen many are called but few are chosen it is the grace of god to call all men it is the grace of god the love of god to call all men but it is your prerogative as a christian to make sure that your calling stands sure your election stands sure ii peter chapter 2 and 10 peter admonishes the believers it says to make sure make sure that your elections stand short and so i want to show a couple of scriptures to you as believers for those of us who are in the end time there are some scriptures you should never forget some scriptures you should hold dear you may have read them before but read them again and one of that scripture is our opening scripture the kingdom of god is like a net that is cast out into the ocean and he drug many and when the net is full says every man's work shall be what made manifest for the day with the clergy what day the day of our lord's return he said because it shall be revealed by what by fire everything we are doing in the house of god sir it shall be tested by fire all your singing your sweeping everything you are doing for god before god will give you reward on that matter you know when you go to the airport huh you reward in heaven somebody said thank you jesus every time you put the chair together in the house of the lord every time you picked a trash you picked something every time you you did something in the house of the lord it doesn't matter anybody seen it it has been recorded for you somebody say works works look at this he shall receive a reward look at this 15. now look at 15 15. look at this but if every man's walk if any man's work shall be burned he will what suffer loss but he himself shall be what saved even by fire in on the energy says it's a very very very very very hard way anyone to look at anything nlt quickly he says but if any man's work is burned up the builder will suffer great loss but the builder will be safe but like someone who barely escaped through the wall of fire so which means his salvation are we together now so he says hold fast to what you have hold fast this salvation we have paul said i don't assume i don't just go about it says i bring my body under subjection whether i still be in the face the word subjection literally means to beat yourself black and blue i bring my body under subjection i examine myself whether i am still in the face do you that moment you are you are keeping my list like the devil and so if you are not careful you you become you you your hearts become normalized you know there is what they call a compensation in medical science someone said compensation oh yes there are many times people have uh how do i say this now trouble in their organs maybe maybe there is a an artery that is occluded and so the body begins to compensate so if there was an artery a vein an artery that was you know uh that is supposed to be open and paint and blood is flowing through when that artery becomes occluded what the body begins to do to compensate or to make up for this occlusion it begins to tunnel around with little little you know archery you know veins around arteries to make sure blood is flowing but as much as is compensating it can never make up for that one that is occluded so over time the compensation becomes so much that the body begins to malfunction there is a way that you can be a believer for a long time you mistrust today oh i feel so bad after if you are not careful you will miss church for five weeks nothing died nothing died there is a way sometimes as a believer you told a lie and you said oh god oh god oh god oh god but if you are not careful you find yourself beginning to tell lies and nothing there is nothing nothing nothing nothing happens to your system the reason why i said believe that you keep manners and you feel so bad you feel so bad that you're keeping malice but after a while if you don't check it you can keep malice with a group now nothing faces you and you're speaking in songs so you must examine yourself examine yourself can i can i talk to you if you are truly going to examine yourself sir please don't sit down and say okay let me examine myself um [Music] am i keeping my list no check i'm not coming to church check no sir if you are ever going to examine yourself the word of god the word of god this is the examiner the word of god when you imagination and every high thing that exhorts itself against so anything in your life that has become normal has become okay and yet it is wrong when you begin to give your heart to the story of god's word the word of god will check you it will check you so if you are ever going to examine your life your work before god's side you need to be a student of the world the word of god is a person it's a person somebody says a person that is what the bible says in luke in someone 105 and verse number 17. the bible says and he sent forth a man even joseph the bible says they put fetters on his hands on his feet until the time his word came the word of the lord came the word of the lord tested him the word of the lord came and tried him his word will try you he will try you and expose things about you to yourself and that is why in the place of fasting you are praying another sudden something just shines in your spirit this thing is not good so jesus says when i come revelations 3 and 11. he said make sure no man takes your crown somebody said let no man take your crown and i share now i was telling you last sunday you know for those for for us you know we don't know what crowns are but without a crown there is no king are you aware of this no crown no king the bible says in revelations one and five he says he has made us a kingdom of kings and priests a kingdom of king and priest when the bible says king of kings do you know what he means king of kings he is the king when he say of kings he's not talking about the king of england king of all of these nice countries no when it's a king of kings he's talking about us because we are kings so he's the king of us who are kings so if you are a king you have a what a crown yes so part of our attire in heaven is a crown the way you dress you wear shoes you wear clothes it's an easy attire in heaven we wear what cry and not all crowns are equal [Laughter] there's some crown it's just it's just circle it's just just like your our is our weight is what this is our glory it's our glory the glory that god gives to us our reward for passing through this earth for overcoming our works it's our reward our eternal reward when we see him on that day he will say well done that good and faithful servant the bible says when you read in her first second timothy phone seven paul said i have fought a good fight i have won the race i have kept the faith he said there is therefore now left for me a crown look at verse number eight verse eight he says there is henceforth somebody say henceforth laid for me a crown of righteousness which the lord the righteous judge shall give to me when when at that day not to me alone because i am apostle paul i am the one that wrote to thought of the new testament no but everyone that what that it is that is also waiting for his return are you waiting for his return i'm waiting for his return waiting for his return not just me every one of us who are on the earth whether you are asleep through grave or you are alive as long as you waited for his return the bible said there is a crown which the righteous judge himself shall give to the lord jesus christ shall be the one that will bestow the screen on us watch it the bible says let's make sure let no man take this word don't let no man take it from you in revelations chapter number 4 and 11 revelations 4 and 11 4 and verse 11. when you read from verse number 10 the bible says that 24 elders in heaven they cast their crown before god every time the four living creatures that surrounds the throne of god every time they say holy holy is the lord god almighty the 24 elders that sits at the courts of heaven the bible said they will cast their crown before him will you have a crown listen to me your crown in heaven is a function of the work that god has given to you to do on earth make sure you do the assignment and that's what i'm telling you that many are called from some are rejected the first man to ever be rejected the bible says when you read in first in genesis chapter number four genesis four when you read in verse number uh verse number three or so speaking about the man named cain genesis 4 from verse number 5. the bible says that cain offered sacrifice cain was accepted abel was accepted but the bible says but the offerings of king was what was rejected he said he had no respect for it and i like invest number seven when when when when when cain saw that his offering was not accepted the bible says in verse number seven the loss asked him a question say kane why are you angry he said if you do well please mark this world tell somebody do well he said if you do well will you not be accepted so the reason why many are rejected is because of what they don't do well in the house of god tell somebody to do well to wear the reason why cain wasn't accepted he didn't do it well he didn't do well how can you keep malice in the house of the lord you are not doing well you're not doing jesus said any man that puts his hand on the plow and does what look back is what on feet on feet on feet there are some positions you cannot apply for if you are not physically fit not by your own choice but their screening factor there are some job positions you must be physical they will take you through training if you are fit to operate in this office such it is it says any man 62 62 1962 he says any man that puts his hand on the plow jesus said any man haven't put his hand on the plow and look back is what is what not faith that looking back is faith in other words he is not fit for the kingdom what does this mean you know in those days to plow because this world now sometimes is we get lost in our monday translation in those days if you are farming for you to dig the ground they the lord is sending me here now to jericho elisha said as the lord leave it and has died so leave it where you go here we go next verse verse five the bible says and when they go to jericho next verse verse number six elisha said tarry here the lord is sending me now to jordan he says let's go say lord give me discernment lay hands on your head say lord give me discernment come and say lord give me the sermon lay hands on your head say lord i pray for the spirit of discernment to understand to perceive lord give me understanding of that which is needful the scenes of destiny are very slippery very slippery very very slippery that is what the bible says to men ah very slippery a man could have sat down waiting for his master to return from the galleria and he has missed it how strange are these things now these things are to make us think ladies and gentlemen when we say study god's word when we come to a place like this we sit down and we ask ourselves if it was me elijah said stay got the bible that in the place of prayer there are some things he took away from your spirit that could that should not be there in the place of prayer he had organized and aligned you in the path of god when we say we are spending hours in prayers it's not because we just like to pray like that prayer nothing aligns you like prayer nothing nothing nothing prayer is an alignment tool if you don't know what alignment is whenever your car there's something wrong with the tire if you want to know your car in fact should i say this because i don't want you to go and experience experiment for those
